My suggestion is you must mess with the CyanogenMod settings with the colors. I don't believe I have heard of bug like that.

could someone show me where to get this framework for CM7 i know it is mkcm97's work but i thought it was for MIUI. i know it is possible for CM7 because this person using it is running CM7. thank you in advance for any help at all!

I installed it on top of xiaomi.eu stable 12.5.12(latest) as a dirty flash and it works like a charm.
No issues so far.
