TripNMiUI 0.3.2 doesn't detect sim card. to enter pin. baseband .49 crashed a system server multiply. any ideas?

I have a SE Xperia X10 with 8 GB SD Card. Recently I updated version 2.1 to 2.3 through SE update and PC Companion. However, after this update the SD card is not recognized and "Storage" in "Settings" always shows "unavailable"
I tried formating the card on computer using a card reader. However even with FAT32 it is not working.
Please guide me and help me. Do I have to format the card with different file system? or is there a method to solve this problem.
Reformat with the formatter from sdcard.org. Android doesn't play well with our cards all the time. Remember to backup your card first.

I installed the new 1.07 MIUI to use a gsm sim card, and I cant use the sd card.
The device is S-off, using Amonra Recovery and installed the SD card fix.
of course the sd card works in recovery or on stock..
what could be the problem?
Would using a SIM card manager such as Dekart on my PC with the Gear S SIM card work to modify/add contacts?
any ideas?
wifi works fine with sim card. but when i insert a sim card, wifi disconnects and cant find any wifi network.
i have to factory reset the tablet so wifi can connect again but with no sim card inserted.
Hi, so i have this problem "Blank SD card" -SD card blank or has unsopported filesystem- i trie restoring with flashtool and was all ok but same problem, the phone detects when the SD is in an out, but wont read... i trie to do a fresh install of 2.1 with SEUS but Seus dont work... i clean the SD slot but still nothing, any sugestions?
