The new popular launcher SPB Shell 3D is here! The problem is that it's not supported for our smal resolution yet. When it's starting up it says that there has been an error because of the app dont support the resolution. ( if i remember right )
My question is if its possible to rewrite the app so it support our phones? I mean, the android system should downscale the app so it fitt the screen (probably) ?
If someone is willing to make this as an project or experiment, you can send me a PM. If you don't want to.. you maybe is willing to learn me how to do.
It would realy mean a LOT for me ( and many other I think! ) if someone could fix this!

It works for me in minipro. Just ignore the error it gives.
btw. very nice and cool 3d effects, but you easily get tired of it.

It works until u get an pop up telling that "this app was not found on the market and then disappears suddenly" any workaround????

I got it to work yesterday to! But there is some problems.. the folder feature is not optimized for our resolution for example.

it works for me on cyanogen 3.6 floyo but when i restart the phone i can't launch it again because it dissapears from the launcher selection and the app drawer but it is still installed.
any ideas any one??
It works fine but i have moved back to lpp, coz the screen is to small to have always status bar.

find and download applanet and find it there it's like a market but it is a black market for apps

Yee, same here.. it actually works when i restart the phone for few mins, but then it just crash and send me to my default Launcher app, in my case Launcher Pro Plus.

Thats what i ment with the "homebutton" problem!
When i install it and open it with the homebutton everything works. But, When the app has opened up and i press the homebutton again, the app is not in the list. ( only adw ex and launcher pro plus is there )

to let me install it in flight mode using andro wall and everything works fine but when you restart the launcher can not start

you must not connect to the net because he checks the licence and when he noticess that you havent bought it he automaticaly deletes himself from the launcher selection screen but remains installed we have to wait for the crack to arrive then we can use it. for now we will just have to wait and use go launcher, launcher pro ...

everytime i start running helix launcher 1 on legend it works fine at the start untill i try to expand the screens from 3 to 7 then it says i need to clean my homescreen before expanding, when thats done it asks for a restart so the changes can be applied, after the reset the apk just bugs and says it was forced to close because it had and error, this happens all the time and now helix launcher wont work untill er reinstall it .
Helix launcher 2 wont load on my legend, when i try to start the apk it just goes black screen...
anyone have any solutions for those problems ?

Im using launcherpro aswell best launcher ever !
try disabling sense ui first ... it will work thereafter
I have installed ADW and found that it improves the UI a lot. But I have not found any way to put a shortcut to a contact directly on the home screen.
Is there a solution to this?
Should be able to add widget-> shortcut -> contact?

Hello you can't because se had add they own apps to mini pro, but I use a widget with the name launcher pro-x. There you can add contacts and then use press on a contact you have some opcion call, text show contacts

@knudsen81: Thank you. It was something like Launch-X I was looking for . It would have been nice to use the Pro version, but since I do not want to root my X10 it's not possible to pay for it .

I have rooted mine with oneclickroot and used market access to by paid apps, here in denmark we also don't have paid apps

does anyone have an idea how to replace the ADWLauncher with the new one thats really awesome the spd 3d one everytime i try to load it manually and set it as default the stock adwl overwrites it and pops back up few minutes later, i even removed the ADWLauncher with root uninstall and then i had no access to settings on the phone and later on wouldnt start so i had to reflash it, if anyone could help would be nice

All I did was just install Launcher Pro Plus and it replaced ADW. Everything works smoothly now.

and have change-icon feature.

CM has used ADW Launcher for ages now. It was back in CM5 (IIRC) and the general consensus from the users was that they preferred ADW over stock, and thus ADW became default.
Personally, I like ADW.
Launcher Pro the free one is better than ADW, but ADW launcher EX is better than Launcher. Personally , I like ADW more than Launcher Pro.
I use launcher pro since 2.1 stock rom and with CM7, it is just perfect for me, smooth, very easy to custom
I'm using Launcher Pro since ever.
It's the best Launcher available and it really runs smooth
Worth it just for the ability to delete apps directly from within the app drawer..

It works nice on my stock non-rooted arc.
Problem is the widget overview is now pointless eye-candy. The widgets float around one over another and are harder to read and tap than last version. I don't see a way to turn it off even.

I can see the option to remove instaled aps but can not see the overview and widgets floating?!
I have read somewhere that I have to remove everything from the desktop on my phone, tried that too but nothing.

Hi everybody, i'm new to Xiaomi community , i'm came from HTC U11 the first i miss from HTC is the UI and the sound..
After some research and some installation i've finally get my perfect configuration on my MI 9 .
Here is a screenshot of my home screen
And also my HTC Usonic work to perfection with stock rom 10.2.9 after install viperFX . With no static sound or hissing.just perfect ??

I like Miui's stock launcher (Xiaomi.eu version) and since I used an iPhone for several months before I bought a Mi9, I prefer launchers without a drawer. I like clean designs therefore I use some text KWGT Widgets (the first one is from huk kwgt) and three or more countdowns (countdown time app) to something i'm waiting for, like movies, events or videogames. The wallpaper is a 24h live wallpaper i downloaded from xiaomi's theme app. I used to heavily customize my homescreen but i don't have that much time anymore so nowadays i add just a little few tweaks to the stock experience but nothing more.
