Go to youtube.com and check for download buttons. If you see any make a printscreen and show it to me.
I am talking about youtube official stuff not other programs. Try to understand what I'm saying before posting.
Did you say official in your first post? If you did we could all understand you better.

You can optionally install adobe flash player (10.2 or 10.3), It will play videos in the browser, when you open youtube.com, or any other site with flash videos!
I had the same problems(SE X10 mini pro), but luckily i'm a developer with knowledge how online video tubes work(rsolution.be/rtube).
So i created a little (free) app that can play the youtube streams.
I would love to hear some feedback about this app!
Currently i can only confirm that it works on a SE X10 mini pro, Android 2.1:
rsolution.be/youtube-for-android-2.1-or-higher
I can give u a backup of my app? U need to have titanium backup

Perhaps you should ask in the movie2k forums since that type of site is excluded from discussion on XDA.

No, I'm glad you did.
Now everyone who reads this thread knows to steer clear of that site. I certainly wouldn't want anyone installing apps in the background and messing around with my Google settings.

That's interesting.
I've had Google+ installed on multiple ROM's and have never seen that app. And I didn't know that installing one app could automatically install other app(s).

Don't you know one apk can add two or more icons for different things? Like camera.apk in sense ROMs adds both camera and camcorder , like just gallery.apk adds gallery+camera on few jellybean. It could have been similar thing with Google+ though its not.
EDIT : I see you edited it yourself.

An icon is one thing, but it was referenced in one of the posts above as a Google+ settings app. It doesn't appear to be that but instead an icon that gives access to the settings in Google Play Services 3.0.
I just cleared data for the "Google Play services" app and now I have the icon in my app drawer.

"Then" lol
Yes i noticed it now with the update to 4.4.4 no more youtube widget
Guys, everybody who wants the widget back can do this 2 ways..
1. Go to settings, then app manager or applications, then click YouTube, then click uninstall updates.... Voila, you will get an older version of YouTube with the widget for your home screen.
2. If you want a more recent version, here is the apk. ver. 5.9.0.10
I attached it here, just make sure in developer settings, third party apps is checked off.. hope this helps..... http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2954994&d=1412042255 source - InfInIteGMKg
