Possibly selling vibrant with ffc mod - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Howmuch should I sell my vibrant with 2nd version ffc mod ? I saw some reviews of the upcoming lg optimus 2x dual core coming next month. Edit. This is more of a thread to find out what price I should sell it at. Not really selling atm.

what is the ffc mod? I would be interested in buying phone

Its a front facing camera that I installed. Its the i9000 version so no banding issues. You can use it with fring and other video chat apps.

Are you ready to sell yet?

Is that version 1 or 2 of the FFC module?

Just a note to the OP. If you do decide to sell your handset here, please do so on the Marketplace.

Posibly?
Are you selling boss?

at least $400 depending on the shape of the phone.

[Q] Nexus S or Samsung Vibrant?

Best buy is offering a Nexus S for free today with a 2-year upgrade, so should i switch? or wait for the Galaxy S2 to release in US?
EDIT: the deal is over, so its pointless to do a switch now. You can still comment below if you would like.
Im on hold with best buys customer service as i type this from my vibrant. If this is true, which it is....
Do itttt!!!!!! Straight support from google itself AND a small hike in RAM!!!
Im eligible as of last week for a new plan but was holding out for something exactly like this.
Everyone its legit. Jump on it now. Ill update thread after i speak to the reps at best buy. Its like xmas.

Aaaaaaand they are out of stock.
Damn nerds scooped em up before i got a chance.
Balls.

Sounds like a good deal
But I'm also wondering if this is a good upgrade. Perhaps it would be an easier decision if GB update/non-update was more certain for vibrant.
No external SD card is a dealbreaker for me. Also issues with reception from what I've read.
I would wait for the next nexus,
coz I bought a 16GB micro-SD for my vibrant
Vibrant has better screen. That's all you need to know. Lol

You sure about that? Have you compared them next to each other? Vibrant is Super amoled screen, nexus s doesn't have that.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I thought the US version had a Super Amoled and the UK version had like SLCD, but I'm pretty sure both of them don't have gorilla glass either.
vibrant all the way for external sd card
With the nice support from Samsung and T-Mobile I will definitely get a Nexus

Understand this.
The Nexus doesn't have Gorilla Glass http://phandroid.com/2010/12/20/warning-nexus-s-not-gorilla-glass-dont-be-that-guy/
It also depends on your location. The UK version doesn't have Super AMOLED it has SLCD. While the US version has Super AMOLED. (Just saying). Here's the difference http://mybroadband.co.za/news/gadgets/27333-nexus-s-super-clear-lcd-compared-to-super-amoled.html
tried to get mine and they told me no bc they are out of stock. who cares hopefully gs2 drops soon. i cant wait for that beautiful device.
Nexus S. Hands down.

[Q] Should I buy this phone now for 170? explain please.

should I buy a vibrant for 170?

If in good shape sure...its not a bad price
I personally wouldn't for that price.... just because you to tweak this damn thing so much before it works well. GPS is junk(no matter what you do), there is no 2.3, plasticy(but durable) construction, and probably used. Development is still good but if your coming from a mytouch 4g slide you'll notice a difference in speed.
No. Buy a new phone like the galaxy nexus with a contract or nexus s w/o contract.

O1 value?

First let me say I am not attempting to sell any items in this post or the forum. My intention is just to get a more educated estimate. So I have a. Extra O1 . It's in near mint condition. Original box, charger, all that jazz. My question in trying to sell to a friends or Craigslist or something. What is a reasonable amount( usd) to ask for?
thanks
J green.

Reccomend?

Well, upgrade time its coming i have an x10(used to have an sgs1 but gave it away)
After a lot of consideration and research ive narrowed down to two phones
Xperia S: 629.00 USD
Galaxy Nexus: 479.99 UDS
Both brand new, so what do you guys think, cause im still very undecisive
I cant go any higher than the Xperia S pricepoint cause im already taking a hit with it(unless its really worth it)
Other phones i was offered were
Sgs 2: 529.00 USD
Htc one X:699.00 USD
Sgs 3: 963.99 Usd

The Galaxy Nexus has the considerable advantage of having vanilla Android, better access to updates, and easier to root - and it is one of the cheaper options on your list.
So, since you haven't specified any particular criteria or preference that would favour one of the others, I would suggest you get the GN.
The SGS3 and the HTC One X are more recent phones then the GN, so they do have a variety of advantages, but the only one that I consider to be worth the difference in price is LTE - the GSM version of the GN doesn't have LTE.
If LTE is not available to you (or not important to you) then I stick to my recommendation of the GN.
Got the GN thanks dude

Also want cheap

For getting it directly from Smart, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be your best option. I don't know if it would be different on your end, but by going to Google Play and getting the Gnexus from there unlocked, it would cost half as much. Sorry for the late reply.

Does Google Play still sell the GNex? I thought they pulled them off their site?
Best Android Phone bar non is Samsung GS3 or HTC One X. I heard a One X+ with fire-breathing, ear splitting quad-core and turbojets will be out in the fall.
They pulled it off for a week about a month ago, but its been back on since then.
