I had to reformat my computer this morning to get it back up....and in doing so I lost all my back ups.
I have been in the dev section looking thru the 2 new vibrant bible threads and in themes ext looking for them with no luck,if Simone would please point me in the right direction I would truely appreciate it, I haven't been paying much attention to other ways other than using odin to flash 2.1 back due to that's the way I learned and im old school and it works fine for me
Thanks! Carl

Also I was running the perfect storm v1.3 and had a kernel from ziggy .(1.7) that I cannot find now from his website. I have been looking forever and finally I thought id ask you freaks. Jk . Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks . Oh and I searched every where to find it I'm just scared of losing in route because I rooted this phone the hard way having to install adb drivers and shell or whatever. Please help

If you don't have the answer for him, why bother responding at all?

I agree but it does get a tad irritating. I have been on the boards so long I have begun to ignore it. That link looks correct though.
Do I flash both of these files from hoot? Thanks for the help man some people take this stuff too seriously

Your right I sure did and only because they said I posted on the wrong thread. What are you the xda police?

Yes, put on root of sd card and flash through hboot.
I lost root. Can I get it back without having to do the terminal adb thing?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
The first one you put on here I flashed but my software still said 1.12.605.9

The baseband version is the radio, not the software number.
How did you lose root?
Hey man seriously there need to be more ppl on here like you. Huge help. I fn flashed a stock radio apparently that caused me to lose root. I got confused about your post I knew what the first one was but didn't understand why the link to the thread was there. I had been there so many times. I'm getting the numbers confused I think . Do I have to root all over again? Can I flash a new radio from hoot? Thanks again

I see alot of people talking about the bullet kernel and have searched all over for it and can't find it. I would love to give it a try if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Here you go. It's an amazingly fast kernel. The name Bullet fits it very well. It is now also built for Gingerbread ROMS though it is NOT going to be on XDA for a bit.

Any chance a netflix application that works on the fascinate GB leak will work on Froyo for fascinate?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
The non altered market apk works on GB, so you need to get GB if you want it.
No **** sherlock.

No, won't work. Next time don't ask if you are going to be an asshole when you get the answer.

im sure anything is possible..... i dont think it will come from a dev though, probably Netflix.
I'm flattered but, nahh man, I just don't like people saying exactly what I say it different ways. Its not just pet food its food for your pets

My wife has a Atrix 4g that i have to send back to att. She is not into flashing roms, etc but i am so i know what I'm doing just not with this phone. I'm wanting to root it, tbu all her apps and then unroot it to send it back. Is their such a tool for this phone? I've searched the threads and did not find anything. I do not want to have to flash sbf files. I have a one click root and unroot tool for my Atrix 2 but I'm sceptical of using it on her phone. She is on the 2.3.6 update- 4.5.141. If someone could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.

Bump.
Sent from my MB865 using xda premium
There is a file that enables one click root/unlock.
But to get back to full stock and locked you would have to use the sbf's.
Ya i seen that. I don't think I'm going to find what i am looking for. Iv read about this phone all morning and the phone itself is a hell of a lot different than my A2. She doesn't care for a rooted phone so I'm just going make her reinstall all her apps and data herself. Thanks for the help though.
