I'm running into an interesting issue. I just installed Das Bamf and I configured launchkey for the browser. If I launch the browser from the reassigned personalize button, it launches fine. However, when I press the home key, sense resets itself. I get the HTC screen and then a loading screen where my icons and widgets reopen themselves. Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening? This doesn't happen when launched from the menu or desktop. Also, system functions don't cause it to reload itself, only apps launched through launchkey.

Post in general. Please and thank you
Will do. Sorry. I'm so used to coming in here to look at what's new it didn't occur to me what section I was in.

I was curious if anyone knows why when I choose "End All" in task manager and then hit the back key it will cycle through the apps I just previously used. Shouldn't the back key close task manager and not open up previous apps? I know it's not a ROM issue because it has been doing this on about 5 or 6 different ROMs I've tried and Ive been back to stock 2.2 also, still does it. Any ideas?
Which one are you talking about? the one with the level 1/2? or just the end all?

just the end all under the first tab "active applications". When i hit end all and then hit the back key, the back key causes the phone to revert to the last app that was open. is i continue to hit back it will go to the app before the last that i used and sometimes dead end at a blank screen
what launcher are you using?

It's the launcher that came with bionix 1.3.1 but i dont think that makes a difference considering it has done the same thing using TW and launcher pro
hmm yea, that happens i think because it also kills your launcher. so instead of pressing the back button hit the home button.

You're the ****! How could I be so retarded
I'm running Das bamf 1.3 and I configured the launchkey app to launch the browser for the sense launcher shortcut button. It launches the browser fine but when I hit the home button it reload sense. I get the HTC screen and then it reloads my desktop icons and widgets. This only happens when launched through the shortcut button and not through the app drawer.

Is there anyway I can remove the thing when I press the home button the preview of my pages show? Just don't like it and it lags. Thankss.
Go into settings, where it asks what pressing home actions are, something like that, select do nothing. It is not the one that brings you to home screen, just what hitting home does when you are already there.

Of course I checked that already. Miui does not have that option
I accidentally made htc sense my default but I like go launcher a little better. How do I make go launcher my default again? I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it still doesn't ask me which launcher to use when I hit the home button. Does anyone know how to reset which launcher I want to use.
Thanks.

Home Switcher from the market will do it easily.
Download home switcher from the market. Then you can switch back and forth any time.
Settings-aplications-manage applications....
Find sense and clear data

Go to settings/applications/manage applications/select the 'running' tab @ the top find and select "HTC Sense" then scroll down and click the 'clear defaults' button.
Next time you hit "home" it will ask what you want to use and if you want that program to then be the default
Hi, I recently noticed big slowdown in built in task manager. I have to wait about 15 seconds before it kills process/opens/closes. Also I noticed that it consumes about 10%of battery. Anyone had such problem?
EDIT: It feels like it's because of ADW Launcher Ex... Anyone can install, use it for a while and confirm it?
Yes I can confirm the same behaviour, after not seeing anyone else report it - I thought it was just me.
Recently I was so fed up with Task Manager almost locking up my tab that I completely wiped it and put Overcome ROM on there, I haven't experienced it since however from reading your post I just realised that it was ADW Launcher all along, that's the only thing I haven't reinstalled since the wipe.
Good find.

I've found temporary "fix" for it. Just frozen task closer in titatnium bakup, and I'm using Advanced Task Killer now. but I hope that developer will fix it, I've already send him an email.
I only have this issue with the task killer widget so I don't use it. Longpressing home or swiping the tqsk bar works just fine for me with adw EX.
