I just saw in the signature of Jiggs a donation link .
XDA member and ATOM USERS,
JIGGS work a lot for us in a charity work. Imagine the effort of creating & cooking a ROM for our atom. From WM5 to WM6 his doing, as of now there will surely another release for WM6. For sure Jiggs is working for that. He is also our shock absorber if our atom is on trouble.
So with this thread, im just encouraging you guys for pay back time. In my opinion Jiggs need a little reward for his hard work and great job. Im not asking you to donate a big amount , but if each one of us will donate, surely jiggs will have be more energy to make a faster & clean ROM for us, aside for troubleshooting.

I totally agree with you generalriden. Personally, I'll take care of that soon.
I also encourage everybody here to do so as well.
O2 has given up on us as costumers, and ignored our requests for a WM6 ROM.
Jiggs, with totally no obligation towards us, has given a lot of his personal time and has put in enormous efforts to do what they haven't done.
In addition, he has also answered patiently to each and every one of us with our personal problems - as silly and basic as they were...
Now is our time to show some respect. The ammounts are not the issue, it's all about showing gratitude.

Can you guys let us know if this a fairly easy root process or does it require opening the physical phone and modifying hardware a la JTAG? I am comfortable rooting normally (like on the Nexus, HD2, etc.) but not doing a JTAG mod. This determines if I'll trade my Nexus for an X10.

i have decided to make one fully working rom for X10 based on CM7 2.3.4. But i have stuck on some parts becouse i'm trying to make rom in LEGO style. This from one rom that from other rom, etc..
So i need parts from your roms.. and it seems like that fight is about to break out. So i decided to ask in public "Can't i use parts of your roms?"
if you like i can call rom with your names like "J&Z with Wolfbreak on bad TRIP" or somelike that still in progress.
P.S. 1: My ex nick is aZuZu.

+1 if a new dev starting to work on x10 this is a progress and if no one sharing or say "this is my file dont us it " we will never progress, sharing is the way to have at final a fully compleat custom rom for x10

This thread looks more like making fun of one particular DEV than asking for help.... You could have PM the DEV rather than creating a thread in development section..
I have to say though still you guys do not have 2.3.4 (Without WLOD) even though working together, not making fun but just saying....

I want to say thanks to GalaxyIcs cuz even tho there where some bumps along the way they pushed thru and managed to give us a partaily working camera and an nearly bugles ics...we are almost there,I am begging my dad to donate and I am asking u guys that have not yet please do even a small donation common these people gave 6months of their time for us to enjoy this.

This ICS rocks! you are correct on that! As soon as it is complete, I know of a lot of people that would like it, and they are willing to donate then, but you know how people are, if they can't get something completely bugless for their donation, they will not donate (they confuse donate with buy)

2: We are not your employees.... and 10€ for an guy to port your rom, well..... That wont even pay for the "job", and actually i think that's offensive...
3: We port, compile roms, in the SPIRIT of sharing, in the SPIRIT of Open Source.
4: We are an COMMUNITY.
5: If you really want it, start reading some tuts (XDA, one of the best Places...), stop being lazy and DO IT YOURSELF.

Well I TRIED TO DO IT FOR MYSELF, and I think it's not so smart to accuse people of things before you search... In fact, I tried with at least 10 base roms, tried all of the methods I found (MTK Firmware adapter tool, Android kitchen, SP Flashtool + 7zip) and NONE of them worked. And when I needed support, I posted in nearly all of the MTK threads here but no one replied. And am not "paying 10$ for the job" because I know how tiring it is and I know it's not worth 10$ but i'm just putting the 10$ as an encouragement for anyone that could port the rom.
