Hi everyone!
I'm having a problem installing netflix on my Galaxy S Vibrant, I tried installing the two apk files that are have in this post and I get an error stating there's a problem parsing the package. I wanted to know if there is any way around that without having to mod it to cm7 or trigger, etc.
If anyone can help me that'd be cool and greatly appreciated.
This is my phone info:
T-mobile Galaxy S Vibrant
Firmware is 2.1update1
Kernel: 2.6.29
Build: Eclair
If any other info is needed please let me know.

The app only works on gingerbread, upgrade to cm7
From what I remember netflix works on any 2.3 roms. And yes the phone has to rooted!

I modded my phone to cm7 and Netflix still isn't working on my phone, it tries to update but then fails. I've tried both the apk files and only the mod-2 installs.

Same happens to me, asks to update. I hit cancel and it pops up fine.
Something about editing the build.prop to have your phone ID'd as a different model, then netflix will show on the market and you can upgrade.

this, running MIUI 1.7.8, just installed from market and it works without any issues.
I uninstalled the media client one and reinstalled it, that fixed it for me

Alright everyone I found this on the android app forum. I am running trigger 3.2 with overstock 1.4.3.
On the link below if you download the first apk of netflix the app actually opens up and your able to view your queue, you just cant stream movies. Enjoy!

Just downloaded the update for the Netflix app on the market and it WORKS!!!! I am using it on Project V with Bali V1.8.6UV!!!!

I downloaded Netflix for my Vibrant running Nero 5 by Team Whiskey....works like a dream.....I even installed it on the work phone (Droid 2) and its the same!
Has anyone been able to get the Crackle app to work on the vibrant.
If so can someone point me to the right direction to the file.

Do you have flash installed? At first they weren't working either, but after I installed flash again they started working.

Anyone got the crackle v2.4 apk? I've got a dell streak and can't download it from the market. If you've got it, please upload.
Specifically the volume + app from meltus on the gingerstreak rom....no matter what I try to do it stays on installed and when I click update it says declined...i already tried attaching then detaching thru titanium but no luck...any ideas appreciated thanks

Is it installed in the /system/apps directory? If it is it would still show as installed. And which gingerstreak version? 2.0 or 2.3?

Have you tried manually buying though market.android.com first? At least then you'll be sure it's at least purchased

Use one of the file manager like astro and go into the ROM package. In the package you will fine the app and can reinstall it.

I think it's supposed to automatically update from market to Google Play. Try clearing app and services data.
