This is a mdpi device right? Mixer is made for HDPI but it works fine on my my HTC Hero which is also MDPI..Just don't use the lock screen addon..
The error you are getting sounds like a themechooser.apk issue that comes with the rom..
I have attached a flashable zip of a working themechooser.apk so flash this and then try and install it..Make a backup first..Let me know if it works.

I try it

Hi i just replaced the files in your zip with root explorer, after reboot i lost my theme chooser, and u suggested to make sure to set the file permissions to match the other system files.
how to do it?

this is not a problem with the themechooser. i've gotten that problem too.
i'm not sure why others haven't gotten that problem as well but i recompiled and signed it myself and it was installed correctly.

you can run the lockscreen in the second post of the thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017179

So was the issue a chooser problem or theme problem? I'm having the same issue with other themes, Vivid, Lucid,... the recompile above worked fine.
I don't know how to set the permissions for the chooser app...

circle.glx.nl Anyone try it?

Anyone try this kitchen with the framework-res.apk on our devices?
I was able to easily do this with a few captivate roms, but i knew how to restore those easily when I had an issue.
Yes i tried it on Steve's 1.5.2 - works great.
If you have an issue, just reflash the rom. Had do to it a few times while playing with UOT.
yeah... just copied a services.odex from a zip file and that borked my phone...
loading 318 now... was on 315..
good to learn how to rebuild.. so far.. painless
Does not work with 1.5.3

It will work with any ROM so long as you copy the Framework res.apk from the ROM you are using

ROM with fully functional MMS(no blurry pic)

Is anyone using a ROM that has their MMS fully working without compressing images?
I tried a few with the same result.
If you do, can you post what other issues the ROM has.
I am running on 4.1 now and it seems to work pretty well but with the MMS issue.
There is a fix already posted for this issues in the threads.

After three hours of searching, I would love to know where.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841011
I tried using this and if I use the apk only it will not install. I tried through clockwork but it flashed my old ROM and that's when I installed this.
I know I am missing something somewhere.
Remove the old APK from the system/app using rom manager and paste the new file in the same folder.

Timescape for Galaxy Ace

Here is Timescape from Sony Ericsson, it's very easy....
1. Extract the file, you'll get - META-INF, and system
2. Open the system folder and copy all files from the folder system/app to system/app, etc/permisions to system/etc/permissions, and framework to system/framework
3. Set the permissions( all files copied ) to rw-r--r--
4. Copy the build.prop ( attached below in build.rar ) to system and replace. Backup the original bulid.prop if you want restore to original
5. Reboot....
Sorry for my bad english, I'm just 14 years old
screen shot please
Thank you but can u post some screenshots ?

All problems is from the bulid.prop, because I edit it by mixing build.prop from sony ericsson and original galaxy ace, so can you upload the original build.prop ( different rom, different bulid.prop ) ? I will try to edit it...

Try this. I just made 5 min agos, flash *.zip via CW. I also modified build.pro. Tested on my own rom worked well
Doesn't work for me either. Tried manual install with root explorer and your flashable zip. no changes at all. Running Stock 2.3.4 KPH from samfirmware.

You can try my *zip file. It is installed via CW and everything is more simple

Wrong answer...
You could be right, but no...
That are not the default themes...
I think you should drag and drop the files from your theme into the framework file and compile and sign. That should do it.
Or do you mean a theme enabled by default but not default theme?
Greets!

Try wipe cache and dalvik, and sign correctly. I admit that it is strange.

Edit: did you sign, compile?

Hi,
check for what exactly ?
there is nothing special .. as I said .. if I flash the ROM and the theme separately then every thing is ok ...
all I did was replace the files in the zip..and then I get stucj at bootanimation.
I didn't sign or compile...
I have a theory : the SystemUI has a battery percentage and the apk has new files in it... could it be the problem ?

First: to clarify;
you have a couple APKs for your Tab.
You place them in a flashable zip, flash, bootblock
you have a ROM for your Tab,
you grab the .zip, and replace the theme APKs, flash, and it works?
THat is really strange...
Hi,
thanks for answering me mDroidd ...
I found the problem.. it is the SystemUI.apk
I copied all the theme files to my ROM zip except that file and the device boot ok.
why does this file need to be flashed in a separate zip ?
is there another way ?

Maybe it had something to do with permissions our something?
If you override the systemui manually, does it work? Can your send me you're updater script?

As stated in the subject. How will I correct that?
I already searched but yes there is no application could execute the function selection but I don't know what/how to correct.

Thanks for quick respond mate. Just what I am thinking.
I did flashing Pureness B13 apps + Timescape (from DJ JS thread) into Jelly Sandwich V6.
the result was great this was the only thing I'd like to fix for fully working tweaked ROM.
Hit the buttons for yah. Have a nice day!
Wait
Hmmm.. I did flashing it but nothing happened the problem still exist. Hmmmm... How is that now?
copy and paste stock DefaultThemes.apk or you can get some themes in neo themes and app section. fix permission to rw-r--r--. then reboot .
nah
I already flashed one mate.
Is there any difference between flashing and copy & pasting?
I think there is nothing. Same effect, it only differs in execution.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes they have the same effect..
The only difference between the two is that flashing is done of the zip file which automatically replaces the apk files with the right permissions..
Whereas the other way is manual.. You have to manually copy the apk file into the root directory and apply the permissions by yourself!
