I'm planning on selling my Dutch G2, so i unrooted, installed the official T-Mobile UK 1.5 from the HTC site. And now i got build number: 2.73.110.26 CL#69351
But no OTA is appearing, not even after these tricks:
- set the date 1 month and/or year ahead;
- switching from 3G to WiFi and back;
- rebooting and try any of these steps again;
Does anyone have any other tips?
It's really frustrating that 1.6 and 2.1 are still not downloadable as zip..

After two days I finally got the updates! i guess forcing an update is simply not possible anymore (with the G2)..
i had the same issue but it worked when i forced FOTA (if it is corect to say that) using the code *#*#682#*#*
I know there are not very many Japan based users 'round these parts...but I thought I'd drop a note anyhow. AU finally got around to pushing out the ICS update August 25th (up from v2.3 ). I had to check for updates manually to get it. But the upgrade went fine, and it is working like a charm.

I have photon au kddi to. where I can update to ICS for this Photon?
Hi everybody, I have a Sony Tablet s sgpt 111/de versione. In Aug. i Updated to ICS. Reading online I heard it received a new update on the 4.0.3 Release 6 on the SGPT112 and 113. Why not the 111? And also did the US version SGPT 111 get this update?

112 is just the 32gb version of the 111. 113 &114 are +3G models. These may have had updates to fix 3G issues (I know that Germany and Italy had R2A updates for this). Release 5 is the current release for US (so far) ONLY. The release 6 and even 6a is for Xperia Tablet S. They have had 4,5,6,6a.... This does not mean the OS is any better, just that they keep screwing it up

Hi, has anyone received the Portico update for unbranded CV_GB OTA for eu_euro1_276?
I flashed the pre portico EE rom and the update appeared straight away, but when I flashed back to CV_GB pre portico rom the update does not show up so I'm assuming that the update for that variant has not been released yet.
Can anyone say otherwise?
unlocked devices seem to have not got the update yet, hang in there and you'll get it soon

It seems that most manufacturers are now doing the same thing, waiting for carriers to check their settings etc then rolling all the settings up into the unbranded rom. I did have a galaxy s3 and it was the same with jelly bean rollout. The unbranded rom came almost last! I think it's because in the past phone manufacturers rolled out unbranded updates first but if the settings for carriers were wrong it was the carriers that got it in the neck from customers!
Oh well I'll keep waiting, I know I could flash from ncs but I think I'll wait for ota. Im fed up installing apps again from scratch because for me backup only ever restores my text messages and nothing else?

UPDATE
Just got my update about an hour ago, failed to install twice but installed ok after deleteing internet history!
