I accidentally formatted my g-tablet (via clockwork)...and there is no ROM to flash on the root of the tablet itself. I can still boot into recovery but I cannot flash anything since I haven't put a rom on there. Is there a way to flash from the SD card? If not, how can I get something on the tab's internal drive to flash from there? I can't access the tab's internal drive at all from my computer when I do POWER while holding VOL DOWN - I don't have the drivers and I am unable to find them (APX that is, win7 64bit).
I don't have the tablet infront of me, but you can mount your sd to usb mode, and copy a rom to it, all from clockwork. So should should be fine.
You can download the driver here:
developer.download.nvidia.com/tegra/files/android_tegra_froyo_20101105.msi
In clockwork its something like Mounts and Storage. Go there, then mount usb at the bottom.
Now it will pop up on your computer as a removable drive just as if it was booted up. Copy your rom over and unmount, install from SD.

Hey,
I've flashed Omega 33.2 and Siyah 1.8 kernel.
I used 5.5.0.4 CWM recovery (didn't change the recovery, just flashed Omega and right after Siyah).
I then flashed something from Omega kitchen that I guess made some problems with the ROM, so I got in a bootloop. Not a problem - I will just flash the rom again and everything will be ok, but unfortunately I deleted the rom from my phone memory. In those situations I just go inside recovery and mount the sdcard, so I went into mounts and storage -> mount /sdcard, I connected to my computer (windows 7) but nothing happened. So I tried to install kies, but it didn't help too. I also tried the same in Ubuntu (maybe it's mass storage and not MTP because from what I know linux doesn't support MTP), but it didn't worked.
I end up taking my external sd card, putting the rom on it, and flashed the zip from the external sd card.
I don't want to do it every time I want to put something in my phone through recovery. How can I fix this problem? (Yes, I tried more than one USB slot and cable).
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply.
Tried TWRP, CWM touch 6, but it didn't work. I tried to mount external sd card and it didn't work also. Tried windows7, ubuntu (I think it's mass storage so it should work), and another computer with windows7, but didn't work in neither of them.
Also, tried 'adb devices' when the phone is plugged in in recovery and it didn't see the device too. Does adb suppose to work when I'm in recovery? (I'm developing Android apps so I'm sure that adb is 100% working when the phone is on).
In CWM 6, I press mount /sdcard and after I press the text is still mount /sdcard (doesn't change to unmount), and when I press mount /ex-sdcard it change to unmount /ex-sdcard but doesn't appear on the computer also.
Does anybody else is facing the same problem? very annoying :S
Nobody faces this problem too..? :/
same issue here!!! trying to get some help as I don't have an SD card available right now
Sitting here in TWRP and can't for the life of me find out how to mount the storage for copying ROM's over. Is this something I have to do in the OS? Can I not mount anything within TWRP?

Twrp auto mounts your sdcard, just browse to where you want to go when you go to install, otherwise hit Mount and select what you want mounted.

I do this! OK, I have the USB plugged in...go to Mount and it says "Select Partition to Mount". Cache and Data are selected. Nothing happens.
I check System and nothing happens.
USB OTG can't be checked and when I tap "Storage: Internal Storage (8545 MB)" it gives me "Internal Storage" and "USB-OTG"...again can't select USB-OTG.
I really can't do anything, Mount is completely useless to me. My PC recognizes that something is plugged in (get the connect/disconnect sound) but nothing pops up as far as storage and all that goes.
Soooo...anymore ideas? Am I missing something?

Sounds like you're trying to use your PC as a USB device? Not the way it works, that's for USB flash drive type devices, not pulling stuff from your PC. Either place the ROM on the SD card, use a USB drive on an OTG cable, or use adb sideload while connected to the oc to flash from the PC storage instead of the SD card.
Putting the ROM on the SD card will probably be best.

OOOOOOOK...so direct connection isn't possible? Got OTG to work with my OTG cable and flash drive. Worked perfectly. Not as convenient but it works. Thanks!

You can do adb sideload from the PC for a direct connection.

Meh, which ever works. Either way I got the problem solved, thanks to you!
I really love how easy it is to use TWRP with an OTG USB drive. Makes backing up and flashing very nice on a phone with limited storage.
I think he was saying he wanted to copy from his PC to internal storage while he was on TWRP...
Yes?

I was having some issues with my phone and figured I'd do a full wipe Internal and External -- So, I wipe the SD card and then xfer the Rom files over and then wipe the Internal and install the Rom. Install went fine but I noticed shortly after it was constantly rebooting about 20secs after booting up. So, I was going to try another Rom, but this time when I plugged the phone in (usb > mac) -- it couldn't recognize the SD card. So I try the windows laptop, same thing. So, I formatted the SD card with the computer. Now, TWRP still won't mount the SD and any files I put on the SD card, TWRP doesn't see it. Any ideas here?
I tried this from another post but it didn't help:
Fixed. Here's what I did.
Mounted via TWRP
Reformatted drive in Windows (desktop)
Copied new ROM zip to drive
copied boot.img (from rom zip) to drive
Wiped, Installed ROM via TWRP
Rebooted to bootloader
Applied boot.img via fastboot
Rebooted
worked.

Have you tried another SD card to see if the issue persists?

I used the Transformer to format the SD and used AirDroid to xfer over rom files -- I noticed TWRP sees it under SDCard2 now. I got it installed but something I noticed that is odd is that when I plug it into the Mac or PC it's seeing the older files I had on it. When using the explorer in droid or airdroid it only sees Carbon's rom file on it. No idea what's going on.
My G3 is a blank slate right now.
I put the SD card into my PC and downloaded the CM12 file and the Gapps file. Now with it back in the phone I can't find them. I click install > External Sd > nothing there.
Under "mount" it wont let me click the SD card.
Where do I start?
I would plug the phone in and reflash back stock and start over. But u could try mounting the the phone as usb storage and dl the files directly to it thn search for them on the internal storage since it wont connect to the sd.

Plug it into where and reflash it how? You have to ELI5. I'm reformatting my SD card now to see if it will recognize it.
Wow. I really had to go through some trial and error there. I spend the last few hours trying to get the ADB side loading to work. Trying ever driver known to man. I kept getting the no devices message. There was a specific order that it had to be done in order for it to be recognizing the device at the time of loading. Enable mtp > adp > plug in > side load.
I'm up and running CM12 now. And I'm ready for bed!
Since you have twrp installed, why not just get an SD card and put a ROM on it and flash? Seems like the easy way to me.
For future reference, was the phone recognized by adb when in TWRP? If so, did you try to push any files to the internal storage?
I did that once I just flashed a tot file then just rerooted I couldn't connect phone back with adb or anything
I have a Samsung GT-i9100 and all I wanted to do was install CyanogenMod 12.1 custom ROM and partition the internal SD to something like 4 GB rather than 2 GB. WELL... this has been a complete nightmare.
I already had Slimsaber's custom ROM (Kitkat 4.4.4) with TWRP. I decided to wipe everything to start fresh. Then I went to mount the microsd card to install the new ROM... and... nothing happens. It won't mount. No error, no nothing. Just highlights blue as if it's about to mount, but it never gets the X in the box beside it and mounts. Just continues to be a blank box. I can't access the microSD card at all. The card I have is FAT32 and it works in other Android systems just fine.
Then I try mounting the USB to my computer. Nothing. No sounds like Windows is detecting it. Nothing. I make sure I have all the appropriate drivers installed. Nothing.
So off I go to try Odin. Still no detection on my computer. So I can't use Odin either.
What do I do?!?!
Stupid cord. It was the stupid cord. I switched it and now ADB sideloader, and USB Storage and everything works fine. Ugh. Transferring ROM file to flash right now!!!
Although if someone could shed some light as to why I can't mount the microSD card... that would be great.

It could be many factors. Sometimes changing the recovery will make it work, it could be the sd card has shat itself. Try flashing the latest philz recovery from sdcard0 then reboot into recovery. This has worked for me in the past
