I just downloaded the package, sent it to the Android Themes folder of my SD, and applied it with metamorphic : it goes OK, but, after reboot, the theme isn't applied. Is that a known bug ? If it's important, I didi connect the phone with usb debugging, and tried again, but with no luck

Didnt work, rooted lg gt540 optimus, default 2.1 rom, Metamorph goes through apply stage, reboots, and there are no changes, no different colors or anything, which file changes status bar color?
I have Quarx black rom 2.1.. So i followed all the instructions and installed the theme through Metamorph, the phone reboots but the theme isn't applied.. What am i doing wrong?

HOW? i am not able install any theme
theme for default 2.1
There is no working theme for default 2.1 ROM? Am I wrong? After reboot nothing happened, no changes there. i should update to cm

This theme wouldn't work on my 2.2.1 openswift rom. I'm using openswift 4.4 with the #412 kernel. Anyone else had these problems? It just freezes at the applying stage on metamorph. And yes I do have USB debugging on and all the other requirements for it lol

My samsung galaxy 3 is running android 2.1(eclair) an is rooted already.
Tried using teh metamorph utility to install ginger bread theme but is not working.
I tired to install it in recovery mode by placing teh gingerbread theme in sdcard.
I also renamed the zip file to update.zip.
But tht too won't work.
How can i install gingerbread theme in my phone?
Pls help me install it.

Hey is there anyway to get the HTC_IME stock eris keyboard that is on 2.1 and put it on Kaos Froyo 2.2? I tried flashing the Jonas Mod and also tried installing the apk files as well and I am getting nowhere. I'm not sure if its possible to install a sense keyboard on something like kaos froyo. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to install it that would be great. I don't like the gingerbread keyboard that comes with the most ROMs. Thanks.

I have used jonasl lowres v22 experimental on every ROM I have tried - 2.1, 2.2, and now 2.3.
The .apk(s) I have been using are Clicker.apk and HTC_IME_lo22.apk. Install Clicker.apk first (iirc that's what the instructions said).
I have v27 as well, so I am sure I tried it at one time or another - there must be some reason why I am not using it, but I can't recall if there was a problem with it or not. I haven't had any troubles with v22 lowres on any ROM I've used it with.

I have Kaos Froyo v39 and I have found that using the above link to generate my own HTC_IME keyboard, v27, froyo lo-res, 1.6+, will create a keyboard that should work for you! I already downloaded a lot of the newer HTC_IME's and for some strange reason it wouldn't work! This finally did though, so I'm happy.

all instruction are done.
but my device dont open.
i only can see motorola logo.
please help
The theme has to be compatible with the phone. You probably have to reflash Dexter's Froyo

Kahlpowers SGS theme from the 1st page of this post?
That SGS theme is for the original Eclair 2.1 Rom, not Dexter's 2.2. I think the themes compatible with 2.2 don't start until at least page 17.

Has anyone been successful in porting the CM7 Mattedblues theme to Bi-winning v3? Ive seen a few posts about attempts, but nothing successful. Are there any similar themes for bi-winning v3?

it's really kind of a pain in the ass because thanks to touchwhiz you have to go through and rename alot of the icons and move them around the twframework.res. Porting a theme from say the captivate or i900 can be as simple as copy and paste
