Ehrm, i've installed the XPERIA Ringtones with recovery, but now when i start my phone i can't acess it? I Just get forced into ClockWork recovery mode..?
Edit: nvm, i tried this on a lg gt540, so i'll restore my phone now. Sorry.

hmmm doesn't seem very smart of u as im not sure this is a flashable zip - it just contains some metadata + the folders with the ringtones.
Anyway if u want em - just extract the zip and copy over the "media" folder (within system) to your sd card.

doesnt work on wildfire.what a pity i would be happy if it would work on wildfire...but on some other devices it works...

I have edited the desc.txt of the Nexus One bootanimation and now it works on the Xperia X8.
In the attached picture you see how it looks like.

Installation guide:
1. Download the file and copy it to your sdcard.
2. Open Root Explorer (Or another similar file manager with root-mode)
3. Go to your sdcard, search for the file and copy it to /system/media (it has to be mounted as RW
4. replace your bootanimation.zip with my one.
If you want to have the option to go back to the stock animation after you replaced it with the new one, rename your stock bootanimation into "bootanimation.zip.bak" or something like that, and when you want to go back, delete the new one and delete the ".bak" at the end.

im looking for the stock Sony Ericsson boot animation. I have Floyo .20 but don't like it;s boot animation. If any one can upload it I would really appreciate it
Did you make a backup of your stock 2.1 before you installed floyo?
If you did, you can restore it with xrecovery, go in Root Explorer to system/media and copy the bootanimation.zip file to your sdcard, then install floyo again (via xrecovery) and replace the bootanimation.zip of floyo with your one.

This is for CWM recovery or rooted phones.Save zip file to sd card then start with CWM and select instal zip from sd card then select zip from sd card.After finish reboot.
Also if your phone have root you can change bootanimation.zip from my zip file to your system/media without have CWM recovery.
This also an template.You can change any boot animations which are for arc neo (must be same screen resolution) from xda.Only change bootanimation.zip in my template which you want.And update zip CWM recovery.

Wait, if you don't need root to install this...then it doesn't replace the original files and it is installed as user application, not as system app and can be easily removed.

yes u r rite.. but for ics after installing these files , simply disable the original apps from apps portion in settings and select the new ones as default .... this package is just for those who cannot root their phone or dont want to root it ...

I couldn't find a BIOS animation for the Xperia S.
After a few requests on my old boot animation for Xperia P (look here) I made one for Xperia S by myself from a XDA template.
Right resolution and it says "Xperia S (LT26i)" on top.
I hope it will work, cause I can't test it (I have Xperia P).
But 3 ppl were testing and said, it works!
Installation
Copy to SD
Move from SD to system\media
In system\media rename the file bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip2
Rename moved file to bootanimation.zip
the worst that could happen is that you boot up with no bootanimation or with stock android boot animation. i think. not sure.

Choose Video to make a animation from.
Go Sony Vegas -> export as png files.
Android Boot Animation Maker (here on XDA) does a single animatino ouf of it.

I have successfully ported NXT-Lockscreen with music controls to our Xperia Pro running Gingerbread.
Thanks to Erhany and Sudanminipro for great tutorials.
This is the UxpNxtLockscreen ported from Xperia Sola.
REQUIRENETS
1. Stock Android 2.3.4 (fw.42/58/62/69)
2. Root access
3. CWM recovery working (you should enter in to recovery mode during mobile booting with short-key)
INSTRUCTION
1. Make a backup first (recommended)
2. Flash 1_NXT_Lockscreen_GB.zip via CWM Recovery.

If this does not work for you. You have to mod your own framework-res.apk and android policy.jar
you can also try by unzipping and copy files to corresponding system folder with correct permissions.
copy files one by one and check where you get error/problem or bootloop and then let me know, if i can help you.

I have already try your method but the files inside you used are for MDPI. And my mod is for HDPI and all files I have used are from my Xperia Pro (HDPI)
