I've just switched from Android to WP7 (HTC Mozart) and my Zune shows Update:
->How i can check if this is NoDo upate?
->Will it lock my Mozart back? I have Orange UK branded Rom
1. The update branded as "February Update" is the pre-nodo update which is essential for installing NODO and the update branded as "March Update" is NODO itself.
2. I'm not sure what you mean by "lock my Mozart back". Are you running it on a different network? If so then the update won't change anything in regards to that, if you purchased an unlock code it is permanent.
You can check the OS and bootloader version on settings -> about.
You can use an app "Dude where is my update" to check more info about the updates
I mean now i have unlocked phone with chevronwp7 method. After update will it be still unlocked?
Just look it in wp7 dev and hack section. To prevent unlock. I think its there.

There has been a post NODO chevron unlock posted in the general forum. However the methods listed did not work for my unbranded Mozart. This is what worked.
1. Unbrand your mozart the usual way
2. Connect to zune and let it update to 7008. Skip this step if you already have 7008.
3. Connect to zune again and search for update. Wait until the March 2011 update is detected. Don't update yet, but keep your phone connected.
4. Proceed to do chevron unlock in the usual way, check the forum.
5. Install the xap to prevent relocking.
6. Once you finished go to zune and complete the update process.
You will have NODO with chevron unlock.

I have a HTC Mozart 7, ROM Asia, jailbreak with chevronwp7, and upgraded sd-card to 32 GB, used in Thailand, and updated to the last 7.0.7392. Today, 23/07/2011, when I pluged it into my PC and run the Zune. it's ask me for update from HTC. After, I finished the update, my firmware still be 7.0.7392. I can't see anything different from the previous usage. But, I can notice that the change is concern about version of software for HTC itself in settings->about menu.
Before:
Firmware revision number: 2250.09.12902.707
Radio software version: 5.51.09.06_22.30.50.09U
Bootloader version: 1.26.2250.1(111641)
After:
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.13301.707
Radio software version: 5.65.09.25_22.45.50.21U
Bootloader version: 1.33.2250.1(123643)
** and I still can use Tom XAP, Application Deployment, or XAPDeployX to install any .xap file as normal jailbreak as same as before doing the update.

The 7.0.7392 is the WP7 OS version.
These updates have been rolling to several WP7 phones and updates hardware drivers that communicate with the OS itself, improving several general aspects but it does not include any OS update.
Yep. I think so. The Update from HTC is only for update its software/driver version.

can you enter to boot loader menu? by pressing volume down (-) and press the power button. (two button togetter, until it open) if you can see the boot loader screen. (colorfull). I think you can find the Mozart ROM and re-flash it again follow your location.

Hello guys. I need to ask some detailed information about latest leaked Mango update. I'm very unexperienced Windows Phone user.
I just bought a unbranded (without operator programs-logos) HTC Mozart. I want to flash my Mozart with latest leaked Mango ROM. My phone has a windows version of 7392 NoDo. I just downloaded the RUU exe file. What are the steps of installation? Please tell step by step. Can i jump into bootloader mode or just "connect phone to pc,run zune and run ruu exe?"
Please help me, i'm really unexperienced windows phone user. I had some android phones for 4 years, very experienced android user (even android rom installation) but these operating system is unfamiliar for me. I'm very glad if anybody help me
I searched all windows phone threads but didn't find any guide. What are the steps of installation of Official Mango Update? Please help!
1) make sure you've downloaded the right RUU rom for your phone, or have your phone security unlock
2) power off, press power & vol- buttons to boot, you'll see "security unlocked" at the top if it's unlocked
3) connect your phone to your PC, "serial" on the screen will turn to "USB"(if not, you have to install the windows mobile device center manually)
4) run the RUU on your PC, then the mango goes from here~ enjoy
WARN: MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE DID NOT INSTALL ANY RSPL/HSPL(check it on the same screen, right info is SPL xxxx)

You should probably use the Asia ROM.

So I've downloaded that HTC OEM 2250.21.51201.707 Update CAB and send it to my Russian Mozart with 2250.21.51201.411 onboard. It accepted it and updated successfully, but I see no difference between those versions. The question is: should it be any difference?

Just got some firmware update in Zune after updating! Sorry, did not catch it, but I have second Mozart and gonna do the same.

Well, the Zune HTC OEM update was just 2250.21.51205.707 with bootloader version 5.12.2250.5(139188). The question still remains: what's new?
Since it seems annoying bug with unresponsive screen after un-plugging a charger (and I hope all those not-able-to-answer-the-phone-until-you-on-and-off-the-screen bugs too) is gone though, I'm gonna update my main Mozart and I'll try to catch this update.
2250.21.51205.707 is so last year. My Mozart is running 2250.21.51301.401.
If I remember correctly 51205 was the one that enabled internet sharing.
Not interesting I've downgraded from 5.12 to 5.10, the installed OEM package 2250.21.51007.401 and Mozart accepted it... Then I tried to flash 401th ROMs, and they didn't
I have Been trying to get my HTC Mozart Rom fully unlocked or even interop unlocked however i just get errors every time i attempt to run Rom update utility.
I run Windows 7, have mobile device centre and activesync as well as zune e.c.t..
I usually get the 294 error at 3% meaning it is the incorrect RUU, when i do find the correct one it never gets past 0%.
Interop unlock also does not work. I attempted to download and load it under connection set up e.c.t.. and it does not work. stays fully locked, although i am developer unlocked thats not enough for what i want.
Any sort of help on how to do either unlock would be appreciated. Details of my device is below.
