First install Email2.1.apk.
Open Email.app
Setup exchange account.
Now, install CorpCal.apk.
After this, Defy should sync mail, contacts and calendar.
Does it sync google accounts or just corporate?

*Should* . My Defy only syncs contacts and Email. The calender does not sync at all. Any hints? Or do I need to replace the calender app as well?

Yeah. I did but the localization of "Coperate Calendar" is "Google Calender" if you happen to have german locales selected. I did not find the application on on the first tries. But many thanks it now works.
Maildroid
Why not use Maildroid. I found it to be excellent for corporate sync. Except for the Ads, but that OK.
Worked perfectly for me. Went back to blur just because I didn't like having two calendars, but if I get a ROM without Blur this is what I will use.
thnx a lot German Buddy
As I just found this thread:
For people interested, I posted some more detailed instructions on how to install the files here. The removal of the blured email app is not necessary, of course.
Hello,
first of all thanks for this solution, sounds promising. Nevertheless i have some problems:
I installed both files and could setup my exchange account (windows live) afterwards. It seems that it worked, at least there were no error messages, but my defy doesn't synchronize contacts anyway. A test mail has not been received too.
So what did i wrong?
Another question: Does the provided Calender App work with non-google calenders (windows live) too?
Edit: Ok, Push Mail and Contact Sync works now. Obviously there is no error message when you type in a wrong password.
Anyway: The Calender Sync doesn't work. Is this only for Google Calender?
Touchdown
Without the best app for corporate email, calendar, contacts and tasks. Completetely independant from built in apps, provides security, well laid out and plenty of options for alerting, signiture option and lots more
I have an X10 with Android version 2.1.
I was able to remove the built in Moxier 2.1 and install Moxier 2.8
Everything worked fine with Moxier 2.8 (I can sync email, calendar, contacts, tasks) but now I cannot get my Moxier contacts into the X10 Dialer Contact list.
I noticed that in the "Accounts & Sync" setting there used to be a "Moxier Mail" account but now there is not. Even when I try and add an account it does not give me a choice for Moxier. Therefore in the Dialer I do not have a choice to select Moxier contacts.
Any suggestions? Although I like the new features of 2.8 I need the contact sync so will need to roll back unless I can fix this.
No one has any idea?
Does anyone know how contacts are synchronized normally into X10?
I asked this originally over on Android forums, but Im not getting a response there, so thought I would try here instead.
Will try and explain the situation as best as I can.
The kit
T-Mobile Pulse Mini (Froyo)
HP Laptop (Win 7)
Easy Tab (Froyo)
The Problem
My kids have been using their phones as their primary device for nearly a year. Contacts stored in it have always synced with Gmail and appear fine on the Laptop so the account is syncing ok.
For xmas they both received Easy Tab's, a cheap Froyo tablet. It looks the biz and performs well. However, we cant get the contacts or calendar to sync.
Gmail mail syncs fine. The tablets have complete access to the internet via Wifi.
We had a market issue when the tablets were first used, but this was resolved by a Force Stop and Clear Data of Google Services Framework, and were advised to do the same to resolve the contacts/Calendar issue, but this hasnt worked.
When going into the contacts settings on the tab Gmail doesnt appear in accounts, only their Twitter accounts, and I cant figure out how to get Gmail to show up in there.
If I go to Accounts & Sync the Gmail account appears there along with the Twitter account, however on going into the Gmail account sync settings the only option in there is Sync Gmail, where as on the phone there are options to sync calendar and contacts.
I really need some help with this to make these tablets complete for the kids as they are great devices, but simple things like sending an email arent as easy as they should be because the contacts list isnt there with the email addresses.
Cheers in advance.
I have my i9100 with Resurrection Remix ICS v2.4[4.0.4] installed and tried to set up my work's Exchange account on it.
I specifically configured it so that it synchronizes the Exchange calendar too, but when I go to the phone's calendar, it only shows the ones from my Gmail account, not the Exchange one.
From the calendar application, if I go to Menu - Calendars to display - Calendars to sync, it does NOT show my Exchange account with its calendar.
If I go to Menu - Settings it shows my both accounts (Gmail and Exchange) but when I go to the Exchange one, it shows the message "No calendars" as if the account doesn't have a calendar to show. I'm positive that the Exchange server didn't change because until Friday I had an official ICS 4.0.3 rom and I was able to sync and add events to my Exchange calendar.
Any help on how to fix this or some workaround? I really need my Exchange calendar to be fully functional.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Lots of views and no answers? Please help me solve this or at least mention if it won't ever work...
Thanks
I'm experiencing the same issue. Have you managed to find a fix for this yet?
Why not post this in the rr thread? They're going to be able to help more than here

try 3rd part app
u may try
Smooth Calendar from playstore
I tried to ask in rr's thread but nobody replied to my questions...
Regarding 3rd parties, I'd like to try a stock solution if possible, but I'll give it a try anyway.
Thanks!

no mate
stocks apps wont work in aokp
I tried with that app and it's just a widget, but it doesn't fix anything. Maybe another third party that completely replaces the built-in calendar? I can't believe that the rom calendar can't sync with exchange just like that. Any reason to justify it? Is this for all AOKP roms?
Thanks.

Same thing. That calendar doesn't make use of its own provider for Exchange. It keeps relaying on rom builtin system. Is there a way to install the provider/connector for Exchange? I noticed that even when it looks similar to stock, the calendar app used in this rom is a mod or something belonging to the hydrogenics author (paradoxxx). Maybe there's a workaround for this?
I think I found the solution to this, cryptically posted on another forum.
But essentially, in Accounts and Sync, where you're only seeing your Google Accounts and not the exchange one, turn sync off and then re-add the exchange account to the list. It won't work if you have sync turned on, it will just tell you that exchange account has already been synced.
Once you've re-added the account you'll be free to turn sync back on and it should work the way it did before you upgraded to ICS.

I've just updated to 4.0.4 original from Samsung, but I didn't like it, so I'll be rolling back to RR ICS and will give it a try... I'll love you if I get this to work this way! lol!
Thanks for your reply. I'll get back to confirm whether or not it worked...

I've had this problem for the past month, and I finally figured it out....no thanks to HTC, AT&T or my Exchange Active Sync provider. They all told me it was their problem, but another provider's issue. I was about to throw them all under the bus.
My problem was that the Exchange ActiveSync calendar stopped syncing, although the email and contacts worked fine. Appointments from my phone would sync to Outlook, but any appointment I put in Outlook would not sync to my phone.
This is my solution:
On my HTC Vivid, android version ICE, 4.0.3, AT&T cellular provider.
I went to: Home, Menu, Settings, Apps, All Apps, Calendar Storage.
Clear Data in Calendar Storage. This should erase the Exchange Calendar from your phone. I did not even have the Exchange Calendar as an option to view when I opened my Calendar.
Now, Remove the Exchange Account, and re-install it. No need to turn the phone off in between. My calendar worked perfectly after that.
If you really want to be thorough, clear the data on the Calendar and Calendar Widget, also.
I could not clear the cache in Calendar Storage, Calendar or Calendar Widget - it was not an available option for me.
I hope this helps!!!

This fixed it for me on my CM10 US Cellular Galaxy S3! Thanks!!!
Its working for me! Thanks!!
Just uncheck sync of Google account (calendar), delete data in app setting/calendar storage (Home, Menu, Settings, Apps, All Apps, Calendar Storage.
Clear Data in Calendar Storage) and than delete Exchange account and setup it again.
ROM RootBox V.3.8 Samsung Galaxy SII (i9100)
Thanks a lot !!!
I cannot find any definitive information on this..
I am running AndroWook and my calendar will sync fine the first time. But it doesn't update again. Anyone have any information?
I reflashed google apps. But that didn't help.. If I remove the account and re-add, the first sync works. If I disable calendar sync and re-enable, the calendar remains empty. I'm going to test some other roms.
AnrdoWook 2.1 - No exchange sync
