I saw the new version of HTC Sense (v3.0) on the HTC Evo 3D and felt it was very cool. When the sense3.0 will be port to other phone.
after the evo 3d comes out and somebody uploads the system dump
The HTC Sensation has Sense 3.0 on it and is going to be released over seas this May, so we will probably get it then.

right, this is semi old news. Guess it helped if somebody missed it.

Hello - I have a question - will we ever get a official sense 4.0 via ota or ruu on our evo 3d (gsm) ?

No and most likely no.
HTC has already confirmed that all current phones that are going to receive ICS, like our EVOs, are going to get Sense 3.6, not 4.0. Although I could definitely see a port over if the developers can do something about it.

Hi All,
as we (I ) waiting for official release of ICS on GCM Evo 3D with sense 3.6, and i am "far away" with my knowledge on android development, my question - if it will be "hard" to develop it to sense 4.0? I mean is this requires much of development as it is now (bugs, bricks, etc.), or it will be easier when official ICS in place?

thanks for answer but it is not really what i meant. This ROM is build on "Based on the leaked One S ROM", so i am not surprised that it has those bugs, etc. as it is not totaly "compliant" with Evo.
But when (if) we will receive official update from HTC with Sense 3.6 - if it will be similiary difficult to upgrade it to sense 4.0?

Unbelievable but true..that when many new flagship devices are not getting official Jb update, Our Htc Evo 3ds younger brother evo 4 ge is getting official jb+sense4.* update...:thumbup:
Although it is not for evo 3d but because being same family device evo 4g's update can be ported to our E3D..it can be possible if some great devs of our section give some attention and skill..
All we know that we have used many unofficial sense 4 or jb roms...but because of unsupported 3d and other evo 3d's special features, those roms could not give full satisfaction to us....
Now with this Confirmed update news..i request all our best devs like Virus, Mwakious, Coolexe, Agrabren, Anyrl, habitate88, ryrzy etc to try to port that gooddy to our Htc Evo 3d..
If it works it will be like Dream Come True:thumbup:

That's for the Evo 4G LTE. The big brother of the Evo 3D, not the same as the original Evo 4G.

Having "EVO" in the name does not mean it's easy to port. Evo 4g lte has a different cpu, gpu, screen resolution and other hardware. Wait for HTC one S C2 to get jellybean. And why is it unbelievable? almost every device gets at least 1 android version update.

EVO LTE is younger .Its just 7 months old. He counted it by months and not by performance I guess. or maybe he had never heard of Evo Lte
Bet most of you guys couldn't tell me what features you want from sense 4.5
Absolutely hate HTC evil sense Crap, wont touch it, after getting a taste of vanilla akop & paranoid HTC can go f**k themselves
