I think its a hd game and nothing can be done
You can't. Most Gameloft game is in HD so there is nothing we can do about it. Get a different phone. =P
Just google "Sandstorm hvga apk" and follow the instructions

how do you play psx games on X8? since te screen is single touch, does it uses the fisical keys?
Hows tekken, doesnt that require dualtouch to play properly, also where do u get psx games from.

I played Final Fantasy VII without problems on it. Final Fantasy VIII & IX had some lag especially in videos and when entering combat.
At lest you don't need mt on psx.
You can assign controls to hardware keys like camera, etc

There are so many more that work. Nova 2, real football(soccer game and badass) asphalt 6, splinter cell, and more
Granted their not tegra specific games but they push the limit for 3d gaming

Got to say I am pretty impressed with the power of the Vibrant. I mean it runs these games GREAT. Can't seem to get Dungeon Defender Deluxe. Any one have luck with this game?

I got the three plugins and installed all three then chose the powervr option with unrolling textures.

Did you enabled the plugin? Its not only install them, you have to choose wich one to use under Default OpenGL Settins > Use Plugin > Choose the plugin.

it got to be on the internal sd card for it to pick up the plug ins
Galaxy on Fire 2 - Works after reducing texture size in Chainfire 3D
Hey guys, I have installed Chainfire3D to play some games made for Tegra phones. I've managed now to find Sprinkle in the market and install it, change the plugin for the game to Nvidia in Chainfire3D and got the game to boot up sweet as.
Problem is, the loading screen plays through, the music plays, and then the game crashes. Any ideas how to play?

I had the same problem before updating Chainfire3D, after that was perfect, do you update frequently?
U must have Chainfire 3d v3.3... but for me still dont work i like that game

i just tried hot pursuit for now. you dont need hvga data, i used wvga data but hvga cracked apk. it worked, but after the tutorial race I was not able to click on 'next' arrow.
i play only a few games on my HTC Wildfire (unrooted)
1) checkers free
2) tic tac toe
3) move it free
although my phone is slow but these apps play well without any problems.
guys u can post on this thread the games that you play on ur unrooted htc wildfire. (those games that play well) .

I say the best rpg is zenonia 3 or 4.
