If you restart your device with search widget at the main home screen, you'll find a grey voice search icon which vanishes after a some time, so heres the tweak you can unlock this, install the app attached with the post and your done.

It doesn't require login like the stock one and it doesn't open browser everytime to see the tweet,rather it opens in a quickview.you can add any username to follow their tweets.
Please check the description and screenshots of the app in market.

There is no downloads, any clues on the problem/possible solution?
Their description says not for tablets and maybe it's thinking it's a tablet.
Hopefully someone else chimes in for you. I'm done testing launchers for now. Can't count how many I've tried with this thing lol.

Edit-downloaded...worked fine. When I press menu on home screen all I get is "set wallpaper" and it looks like it runs at low density with tiny icons, but it worked fine.
