I have both and can't fully decide which one I like better.
I think I like TF3D better, but just want to hear other opinions!
MS3 is nothing more than pretty little shortcuts.... like another phone on the market.... i like both, I cant decide either
+1 FOR SPB 3
Contacts manager of SPB, everything else on TF3D
I personally hate both TF3d and Titanium. I have been using mobile shell for years now and would highly recomend it!
i don't use tfl3d or titanium i use spb ms3. it has many tweaks/mods and or customizations avaliable. also many skins and widgets. spb ms3 for me. been using since spb ms2
spb ms3

Spb Mobile Shell 3
+1 for me on Spb Mobile Shell. I just wish the weather widget would show current temp. Othewise I like how configurable it is and there is a lot of support for it.

But you have a 6800 and probably only use manila 2d. So I'm still unsure, I would like some more advice.

Have you tried TF3D2 yet? They've got it pretty stable now in some of the new roms. It may just very well be the cat's pajamas.

Actually I have a Touch Pro. Had not updated the signature.
I have used the shell for a couple years or whenever it first came out. I like the new v. alot. I usually end up missing the TF3D after using ms for awhile. I've used the TFdetacher app and switch back and forth sometimes. I guess I just want both. I don't care for titanium at all.

For sure, well I think MS is sick if you have a plane WM menu (even 6.5) and you want to cover it up, but when you have all of these juicy ROM's for TF3D then I think I'll sway with TF.
havin used both..i say tf3d2 all the way. wins in eye candy points, looks professional and i think its very functional. but its just an opinion, and you gotta try them both and form yer own mate
Yeah I agree, I have TF3D 2 and love it more than MS 3.0
well im using nfsfan's rom instead if juicy so rhodium manila still needs work here. so ill stick with spb 3.0 atm. they are both great cuz its like an OS in a cab. but a 100% working touchflo3d-2 wins IMO
TF3D FTW!
I vote tf3d Standard. It's stable, easy to use, and easy to customize. As far as mobile shell, i keep on trying to go to it but i always end up coming back to tf3d. No matter what themes im using with mobile shell, it just seems to look unattractive and other than the cool carousel wheel that spins to show the menus, it doesnt have anything that would make me trade it for tf3d
Good, Im agreeing.
I tried MS3 and found it nice but TF3D is still FREE and that is why I'm still using it.

Hello dude ;-)
This is an off-topic-message - I couldn't send you attachment files by pn (the demanded iPhoneToday-Settings...).
So I need your real eMail...
Easy Today Launcher is a today Plug-In lets you add shortcuts to their favorite aplication on the today screen.

Nice to see I'm not the only one that still believes in the Today screen (after a long time of using the other solutions).
nice, nice.
Easy Today Launcher v1.1.0.2 has been released.
Regards
Thankyou handy utility replaces iphonetoday on secondtoday as prefer normal icons
Additional: Request being able to increase the space between vertical icons.
I am assuming this is a no go for WM6.5 ..
I posted this within a ROM thread a couple days ago but it has had little traffic. I am reposting it here for visibility.
I am using NFSFANs 6.5.x 28004 ROM and am loving it! Everything works great but I have a cosmetic/functionality preference and am not sure how to change it.
My question: I prefer HTC 2.x over the Titanium/Windows default home screen. However, I prefer using the default WinMo menus and SMS apps over the HTC ones. Is there any way I can use the Manilla front end for the home screen but not its menus? When I click a txt in the manilla SMS window, I would prefer it to open the WinMo SMS window instead of using the HTC one. I just find it more stable and easier to use. I also like the look and setup of the WinMo menus over the ones that are now system wide since I have manilla enabled.
Am I missing a setting?
maybe try going to the messages tab and tapping on all messages
I have been doing that as an alternative but it adds a few clicks.
Hi guys,
As stated, I dislike HTC ever since I bought the Touch Cruise 2009, not because they make inferior device, but because they butchered up an excellent operating system, and put ugly crap on it like the Sense UI.
I absolutely abhor Sense UI because it is LARGELY inconsistent with the entire WM6.5 feel, and its ugly black colored theme, and it confuses and annoys me, especially the HTC Messaging and Comm Manager and the entire Settings page.
I'd rather have something else like SPB Mobile shell or Wisbar on it. I can flash to ROMs without the SenseUI, but I can't get rid of the other HTC crap like the "Notification" and "Settings" and especially the QWERTY input. I have an Acer S200 which doesn't have the same eyesore as the HD2.
What I would like is to find a rom which has *none* of the HTC stuffs but has the same functionaly. Certain exceptions are completely acceptable like the FM Radio and the Digital Compass. I've tried the Lite ROMs and CleanEX ROMs but there are still remnants of how HTC had butchered WM6.5
Thanks, and excuse me if I sound like I'm griping.

Thanks, bbobeckyj. That is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I really dislike the HTC Touch Input, it drives me nuts. I take the default MS Keyboard over it any day.
try Swype. the ms keyboard is a little hard to use without a s ylus
google: lordyuz & swype
Yup, that's what I've been using on my S200, just figured I'd want to turn off the annoying TouchInput menu. That link works great! thanks.

I totally disagree with that. WTF!
I feel that SenseUI is overcrowded and the one thing that I don't look at often is the thing that takes up half the screen (i.e the weather and the clock). And unless you're familiar with the Manila tabs, you'll have to keep scrolling through the tabs to find what you want. What I DO use often is the text messages, which only requires 1 tap with the default Today screen.
Actually, you can pretty much configure anything to run with 1-2 taps on the default Today screen, all that scrolling makes me dizzy
Not sure if anyone will remember the Athena, here's a link http://windowsonthego.files.wordpress.com/2007/11/htc-shift-screenshot.jpg
I'd really like a WVGA version of this. Wouldn't mind using a landscape fullscreen as long as it looks like this. This is from Windows Mobile, btw.
