You can try to generate your unlock code by the given information here : http://unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com/instructions
I know that list of supported devices doesnt say x10 mini/pro, but it dint say x10 either, and yet they are getting the codes.
Is it useful for our x10 mini??
Can the devs test it please??
BTW.....does every phn have its own unlock code???

i have a mini pro, and i got a code
Got a MP as well and just wrote down the unlock code.
But i think it won't work.
Look at this point

yea i skipped the code part and have been trying to get it to boot (not full boot). but all i can get is it to turn on (green led on) and then turns off and begins offline charging. I'm still trying different key combinations.

Guys chill out i got a xperia play myself and i can say new boot loader have flash mode and unlock mode
Flash mode is back key en unlock mode is search button on play

But cant we use the code to manually unlock the bootloader??? I mean whn the devs at x10 were cracking the bootloader/ they culdnt as they said they needed the code and so had to use the workaround.
Can't sm1 make an unlocking program just like bin4ry made the flashtool???

That was another code lol
That was the bootloader encription key
And we can't use this calculated code
And noone can make a program for it!
Bin4ry's flash tools uses pfficial flashing way
Abd then we still need unlock mod in de boot loader we only got flash mode

There is one idea ...
IMEI code structure AA-BBBBBB-CCCCCC-D where D is CRC summ, CCCCCC is serial number of phone. AA-BBBBBB is a TAC code (Manufacturer, model).
If we take the TAC code from SE 2011 model (for example from SE Arc) and try to generate UnlockCode ... ?
Or even further, as it is possible to change IMEI on the phone and have to make this known to Unlock IMEI which is UnlockCode ...

Dont even try we dont have fastboot in the bootloader , another thing our device is not supported. Wait for cusrtom kernel cos method of bypasing kernel is working so we can crash se kernel and the load our custom kernel via miniloader , be patient and wait for custom kernel from owain and jerpela

i "liked" SE on facebook.
and i keep posting/asking them about gingerbread for the minipro.
i also told that i'd like to officially request for them to give us gingerbread.
maybe they can hear us better if we all filed an official request for it...
you know... instead of just complaining and losing hope.

Waiting for device!! Reinstall your adb driver if you dont have search xda!! Den in flashboot tool Der is driver.exe install dat put fone in software download mode and connect @ flashtool or wotanclient!! I suggest wotanclient cz it doesnt ask to put fone in debugging mode!! Hopefully it work all best wishes to bring your fone back from brick!!

sryy to start a new thread but tried and searched a lot through all these threads but didnt get any answer..
yesterday i flashed mini cyanogenmod ontomy device obviously from the help of this forum only worked fine for a couple of hours but then the network buzzed off and showed insert card i tried rebooting it changing the sim but no luck..
si i decided to get into the original rom so reinstalled my software from sony pc companion but still the same problem please help guys please..

Have you tried inserting your sim card to another phone ? Have you trued inserting another sim ard to your phone ?
I think the problem is in your sim card (or network provider)... If it works without flaw on other phone, try SEUS it... If still don't help, try another sim card...
I'm suspecting your sim card or network provider since there's that "buzzing" you told me. Other case, it may be a hardware problem (hopefully not).
tried with various sim cards dude and all sims are working on my other phones it is definitely smthng wrong with dis onr only..
and it is only showing no sim card insert sim card..

I had same problem, not to worry buddy here is the solution. First did u unlock bootloader? And did this problem occur after you unlocked it and installed custom software? Kernel and rom? If you did then all you need to do is plug in your phone again and rerun setool2 while the phone is plugged into the p.c it should restore your network to it's original state. If it didn't succeed the first time then try a second time, it will work!
Let me know if you came right.

the fone was already rooted before all this..
i did it using flashtools..
flashtools->plugins
then unlocked my bootloader from there..
then flashed the custom kernel for the mini cyanogenmod
and installed the custom rom..
also i installed the custom rom before flashing the custom rom but fone didnt startd up so came to knw dat will have to flash the new kernel..

You can run msm7227 in faiyyaz's S.E tweaker tool it should restore your gsm.

Reflash the phone with s.e.u.s (sony ericsson update service) you can google it if you don't have it already downloaded. Let me know what happens.

What was your baseband before flashing? Was it 2.1.1.0.6

Don't push the sim card too far when pluging it. It's back must touch the extremity of the slot.

Run msm 7227 plug in your phone via usb and p.c it will detect your phone and run the set-up. After it automatically reboots gsm and it should be restored.

This has been answered so many times so please use the search
We all don't really know. I guess the phone has a simlock and you would have to unlock the simlock and then (maybe, we don't know) your rooting status may change. But nobody can promise

Your phone has a simlock if your carrier locks the phone so you can only use the sim your carrier provides. If you unlock it (ask your carrier or try Wotan server) it could be your rooting status may change

Why should he be rooted? The rooting status has nothing to do with root, but with the bootloader

If its before a certain date it can be unlocked using wotan server (paid)

Thanks all, yesterday i saw in the Entel Chile page (my carrier provider) and i ask for my unlock code, but i need to wait 10 days...
"There is already a request for this IMEI entered above. Should 10 working days have passed from your first inquiry and still can not get the unlock code, then you should call 103 from your mobile phone and consult a healthcare executive."
I ask again ( for this the petition show me "there is already a request fpr this IMEI entered above")

i folloved the instruction...and when i turn off the phone and i wait 5 second and press and hold search button and plugin the usb cable there is not blue light..nothing..so im not possible to boot in fastboot....any solution for this??? or can i use fastboot without unlocking bootloader?? i have 12w54..it is possible to unlock?? simlock is unlocked for any sim card...its brand new phone...
You need to unlock bootloader to flash any custom kernel

U will not lose warranty,If u not unlock your bootloader.Bootloader unlock allow :no=no u can't unlock it

You only lose warranty if you unlock the bootloader, but if it says its not allowed then you cant do anything. But you can root anyways, its not necesary to have unlocked bootloader to root, if you need root there is one easy way, i cant post outside links because my account is new, just google mgyun vroot, enter the first option and download that tool, then you only have to plug in your phone with usb debugging on and click on the green button then just wait until it finishes. I hope this helped you somehow.

What did you use to get "bootloader unlock allowed : yes" ?
I think he said he got it rooted. Not change the status from no to yes
its possible to set the unlock bootloader to YES
but you will need to contact Sony and give them some information and such.

What country ? Because people in the UK are saying they spoke to Sony UK and they did not do anything.
It seems only Sony Spain are doing this for free for people.
Wonder if going on holiday to Spain will solve my problem
