Hi all,
I have an unsolved problem:
I installed app2sd on my X10 MINI(android 2.1) according to this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=804574
and I hadn't any problem with it,
then I checked my ext2 partition with Linux Reader after installing an application and found its file there (on [ext2]/app/com.boolbalabs.smileypops.apk)
but when I try to install X-Formula that has 50MB of size, see this error:
Out of space : X-Formula could not be viewed. Free up some space on your phone and try again.
while ext2 has 560MB free space
What can I do?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I have a Sony ericsson X10 mini pro with nAa's Kernel 2.6.32.60-nAa-05 and miniCM10-4.1.0-20130518-NIGHTLY and I also flashed:
gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip,
miniCM7-SEMC_kb.zip and
querty_br.zip
On top of that a internal memory of 192MB and a 16GB SDHC class10 SD card.
Boring story part (with more details and links and stickie just in case I forget something ) :
So far so good until I start installing apps and noticed that with a couple the memory was full. After a little research I found link2SD was the solution,
the SD card I have is more than fit for the job.
But then starter the problems, after I partitioned, with MiniTool,
my SD card as FAT32 (~13GB) and ext-N (2, 3 & 4) (~1GB) as primary none worked (at least for long).
I had some success with Ext-3 but the 2nd time I restarted my phone, Scrips were nowhere to be seen nor any linking of some kind.
Then (after more Googling) I tried both partitions as FAT32 and there it was working cool again.
Well went to download more apps, but memory was full, how so? I added a GB to it!
Found that I would, also, need to use A2SDGUI and it's Scripts (Version 2.7.5.3 Beta 04).
Flashed the scripts and then tried to run A2SDGUI not working pop's this error window:
Exiting A2SDGUI
Could not start for one of these reasons:
Your device is not rooted
A2SD scripts could not be found
No EXT partition found
Click to collapse
Now I'm in trouble because android DOES NOT mount my 2nd partition if it's filesystem is not FAT32
(perhaps this is a scripting problem instead of Filesystem support ? )
And A2SDGUI is no longer being developed/suported.
Bottom line:
I installed link2SD but it only works when my 2nd partition is also FAT32, or else it won't mount,
and the phone internal memory continues to get shorter as I install apps.
Then I installed A2SDGUI and (Flashed) it's Scripts to try to JOIN the internal memory(/data)and SD card's 2nd partition so,
android doesn't give that annoying low memory error message.
I'm having trouble making andoid think that /data is ~1.2GB.
Can someone help me out on this? How can I "make" a "bigger" internal memory?
I searched Google but I couldn't find any GOOD answer to my question.

Hello,
i have a "insufficient space" error when trying to install any app. It doesn't matter if I try the Play Store or a downloaded .apk. The size doesn't matter, too.
There is definitely space left on the device. /data has 715.9 MB free space /mnt/fuse and other system partitions have 401.7 MB and the two SD partitions have 7.0 GB and 8.8 GB. I use Link2SD to install apps to the second SD partition.
I tried a lot of things and searched through a lot of threads but nothing worked so far:
-Cleared cache of everything with Link2SD
-Cleared calvik cache with Link2SD
-Wiped cache partition via recovery.
-Searches for old .obex files but even if I try to install a totally new app it fails with the same error.
I can't install new tools but I have Lin2SD, a filebrowser and a terminal emulator.
The device is a GT-S7710 also known as Samsung XCover 2. The ROM is Vanir 4.4.4.112414
EDIT: Ok now I have SD Maid, too. And strangely I can install some new apps but not all and I still can't update old apps. I'm trying to figure out, there the differences in the apps is.
Can anyone help me with a hint or idea what the problem could be?
If you need further informations, please ask and I will try to get them.
Kind regards,
Ulrich
SOLUTION:
OK, I found a solution. The difference between installable and uninstallable apps seemes to be the support of the native App2SD function. If I deactivate it through Link2SD and only use the rebinding of the files by Link2SD all apps are installable again. I don't know why it matters now. I didn't change the settings for a long time.
A hint to that solution was a post in an other thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59278026&postcount=2. Strange that I didn't find it earlier with google/duckduckgo/forum search.
Hi all, i've a phone samsung j2 prime - G532g
android version 6.0.1
kernel 3.18.19-9387420
I had just rooted this phone, and then I install link2sd, tried to mount the script, but "mount error: no such a file or directory"
but, i've solved that problem with editing init.d script and mount the script using apps2sd: root.
So now, I install link2sd again. I format sdcard into fat32 (20 gb) and ext2 (11gb). Everything goes okay, until I realize that the internal storage only 1,5 gb. Even link2sd (free version) still leave internal data on internal storage. So that, I buy link2sd pro version, in order I can link internal data.
But, after I link internal data, every apps (that internal data linked) get crashed with message "Unfortunately, <app name> has stopped” with the choice are "report" and "ok". Apps that only linked with apk, dex, and lib, are still okay.
Does anybody know why this can happen? Any marshmallows user has experience like me?
Its not the first time I use link2sd, everything did well when I tried to my another phone with a lower android version (4.4)
Hope someone can solve my problem.
Sorry for my bad english
Thanks
