[Q] Android Res Settings

now i understand that 240 is considered high res for our phones when we are using Android but has anyone had any success with a high resolution setting?
just an idea
In my startup txt I use 240. Works for me. 220 and 180 work for the most part. Higher than 240 apps and menus will not look right.

[Q] Wallpapers?

Anyone found a good place to find wallpapers of the correct size?
I haven't found a site that has the wallpapers tailor made to our resolution but, interfacelift.com has enough resolution options to satisfy me. I love their wallpapers. They have a lot of photography content, which is beautiful stuff.
Check it out.
the resolution for the screen is 540x960 right?
Yes but that isn't too important because you can crop a selected area. I pick the higher res Android tablet ones and just scale it to fit. Don't worry so much about the resolution because it doesn't mean squat. Pick a higher resolution, set as background, crop the area when it asks, done.

[Q]Pixel Density and Games

Hey there dev's and users...sorry to bother...
i've noticed that SE xperia mini, mini pro, active, live with walkman have the same cpu/gpu/ram as xperia arc/ray/play but they have lower screen res...
sooo....
if you use a game which is built for arc/ray/play it would run on the lower res devices but some buttons/options wouldn't be able to be used because of the screen resolution...
is there any way to fix the apk of the game so it could be used in the lower res devices?
because those games aren't available for our devices normally...

Click to collapse
no games' resolution cant be changed but there is a way to change the screen density of your phone.Once i accidentally changed my screen density my phone was completely destroyed so i wouldnt suggest you to try it.If you want to though try googl-ing -> android screen density tool or somethin like that
Change the screen resolution dpi in build.prop. needs root. Apps on market will also do it for you

[Q] Bluestacks Android: Resolution change without stretching?

Hello everyone.
I couldn't find any answers related to the the screen resolution change of Bluestacks for Windows.
With changing registry entries it is possible to change the size to greater resolutions, for example FHD 1920x1080...
BUT:
Window and full screen will use FHD but the content is STRETCHED from a smaller resolution with gives text and some graphics an unsharp view.
Is it anyhow possible to get a REAL resolution change without stretching?
BR
No answers?
How many people are using Bluestacks?
Yes, Its possible to change Bluestacks resolution
Here is link you can convert your resolution to any size :
