I'm using Calkulin's ROM with Pershoot's kernel. When I try to go to ebates.com, I just get a blank screen. Can anyone else see the site when using the GTab? I'm using Dolphin HD as my browser.

Yeap....
Works good on Dolphin HD using TNTL 4.2.5.
Do you have Flash 10.1 or 10.2 installed?
Pretty sure 10.2 but I'll double-check when I get home. Will updating in Market make Hulu stop working? No biggie either way since I don't really use Hulu.
Turns out that I have Flash Player 10.2 HuluFixed 10.2.155.67.hulu installed. Still, when I try www.ebates.com, I just get a blank screen. I tried updating Flash through the Market but the update wasn't successful, nor can I uninstall my version of Flash. Any other suggestions?
Managed to uninstall Flash 10.2 but ebates still won't appear. Stock browser won't display that site either. Would flashing Calkulin over the top without wiping possibly get it to work again? Any other suggestions?
Wiped and reloaded everything, still no go with ebates. Just a major pain since I usually go there anytime I buy something online (groupon, eBay, etc). Still using Calkulin ROM and Pershoot kernel. Absolutely loving this combo but for inability to access ebates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am fairly new to all this and am wondering if I need to have the stock Froyo installed to flash the new Sweet Honey 2.5 ROM. I thought I read that somewhere in the development forums. I am running Bionix 1.3.1, and the battery drains so fast I am looking for something else to try. If I Odin back to stock before I flash Sweet Honey, does it matter what I was using before? Thanks.
Noo you dont need to do nothing...just flash...if you odin back you will lose root...just flash the rom and thats all

Yup, no need to Odin back unless you are having major issues. Just follow the installation instructions in the thread step-by-step and you shouldn't have a single issue.

I actually just switched from Bionix 1.3.1 to Sweet Honey to try it out and had no problems flashing it. Just make sure to do it from Rom Manager as suggested in the op.
Flashed it last night, and it is working like a champ. The only thing I couldn't do is install the updated G-mail app. When I hit the install button it says it is not installed. I have the most current G-mail app from the market, but I loved the new G-mail icon and would like to get it back. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I flashed sweet honey and i have problems receiving phone calls. then i flashed back to bionix 1.3, and i had alot of FCs. then i tried B 1.3.1 and still had force closes. so now im back to sweet honey. cuz odin wont reconize my phone in download mode
Now that you mention it, I haven't received any calls yet. I tried calling my phone from another phone, and it rings once and disconnects. Did you find a solution? Anyone out there have a solution? It's kind of important to be able to receive calls. I can initiate a call with no problems.
No i havent found a solution. im still trying to get my pc to reconize my phone in download mode. my phone is really messed up lol

You may have to go into Root Explorer, find the gmail app and long press it. You should get a menu pop up. Click fix permissions and make sure that read/write are checked for the first one and only read for the other two.

You two may want to send a message to Explodingboy and see if he can figure it out. I didn't seem to have that issue. My only question would be did you guys flash it like he suggested or did you just flash it through Clockwork recovery? My flashing addiction has taken me to Jellette's Atriarc rom which seems great as well.
I just flashed JT's Vanilla GB and Google apps. Everything works flawlessly except that if I try to download anything from the Browser I immediately get "Download Unsuccessful" in the notification bar. I've tried reflashing the rom and the problem still persists. Does anyone know whats happening?
Thanks in advance!
Hmmm. Just did 2 media fire downloads using the stock browser.
good day. using xda premium.
Chopper, are you using the stock kernel? I've tried both stock and glitch. Oh and btw do you find when using voltage control with glitch upon reboot the voltage settings don't stick?
I've also tried the option in astro zip to enable download of any file type but that also didn't work.
For what it's worth, I've encountered this on both JT's vanilla GB v2 and CM7. I just retried 4-5 times and it eventually went through.
Flash on my gf's Note abruptly stopped working after weeks without problems.
Things I tried: I tried the stock and dolphin browser, and just got the plug-in cube. Starting the flash plugin settings app brought me to a full page webpage with the same plugin block. Rebooted. I tried clearing the flash plugin cache/data, there was none to clear. Tried uninstalling (it was 11.1 or something, I don't remember), but it errored while uninstalling. It's still there, the box is gone on webpages but no flash area. Flash settings app doesn't do anything. The only option in app info is disable. And nothing available on the play store.
Any ideas what to do next?

Ok, first things first, Adobe no longer supports Flash on Android devices, as such link on Google Market has been removed. Not sure if that caused an auto-unitstall as XDA is not littered with complaints about that happening. Good news is it can be fixed, as still working my rooted running custom ROM, just need to get you there.
1. Download attached and place on SD where YOU can find it.
2. Ensure Unknown Sources is enabled, if I have to tell you how, than leave things alone.
3. Install Adobe Flash.
4. In Dolphin settings Flash Player is always on.
5. Try some Flash videos and see what happens.
Let me know how it turns out, don't think we need too, but could always mimick my root/custom ROM to get her up and running.

Doesn't that require root?
Maybe OP needs to factory reset?
I know your options for fixing apps unrooted are limited.

Nope can do that on non-rooted devices plus factory reset is last option. He states only having issues with Flash not the whole phone.

Cool glad I could help, just so you know all Flash support with Dolphin is disabled in Jelly Bean. Reason why I am back on ICS based ROM.
And the all have the same green leaf for a home screen, so are my ROMS not being written to the right place or what. this is getting confusing. the ROM form about shows the different versions but all are skipping the setup and I have no 3G/LTE connection, only wifi.
Whatever I am doing I seem to be consistent about it

the AOPK had gapps folded in. what is odd is I have now tried AOPK and a CM10 and CM10.1 and they all seem to have the same start screen, come up after the boot like it is already installed, missing any 3G/4G connection. Now I have flashed back to EG01 and run up though iCS several times and it isn't taking the CWM now, says it installs ok but boots into stock recovery. Now I using the older CWM 5504 for the i-905 and it writes somewhere, but apparently not where it should be. I was going to try TWRP but that doens't appear to run on HC/ICS - is it JB only? I have shied away from the newer CWM for a long time because for a while they just seemed to boot-loop the tablet.
Any one have a suggested working version of CWM? This starting from scratch and rolling in all the updates is getting old - which is why I was wondering if there is a way to build my own ODIN set to just flash back to this point without having to go though reroot and install of the recovery (which apparently now I am not able to do - wts! )
Thanks!
Rob (lost) in Katy.
Twrp is compatible with ICS too, if im not mistaken. Go to www.droidbasement.com and download pershoots's version of cwm recovery. That should work just fine. BTW, you did make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik) right? And what's EG01?

I am now one cycle 15 and doing the last update to 4.04. every stinking rom I load goes back to the factory or the ROM starts off and ignores the setup. The really annoying thing is I have had all this setup and working before. Ahhhhhh!

Ok, i found another recovery laying around that seems to be working. I also found that the bug where you need to delete the script that deletes the new recovery. Once I got that far things started making sense. I guess whatever mod I was on before didn't need it. The next trick will be trynig to decifer how to do an odin backup so that I don't haver to roll though 4/5 upgrades to get here. I know someone is doing it. thanks for the help and a place to bounce ideas. will update if i come up with anything.

Hello all,
I tried installing the A1 Kernel today for the USB charging and the voodoo sound, among other things. I flashed it by wiping the caches, and then installing the kernel from the .zip file. Everything installed well, and I was able to boot up and use the device, and even overclock, test the usb charging, and run a simple benchmark through the quadrant app.
After I did the benchmark test, for some reason the orientation of my device flipped, i.e when I would hold it the normal way, the screen would flip, then when I held it that way, it would flip again, thus the screen would always be upside down. I never changed any settings or anything so I'm not sure why this occurred or how to fix it. I tried toggling the auto-rotate switch a few times, rebooting, and even wiping the caches again to no avail. Luckily I made a nandroid backup just before flashing it, so I was able to get back to the CM 10.1 kernel and the problem was remedied, but I want to be able to take advantage of the A1 kernel.
If anyone can shed some light on the situation, with a reason or fix that would be terrific.
Thank you!
Did you flash the correct version? There are stock and cm versions of A1 kernel.

I downloaded the CM version from the xda thread. It says it's meant for 3G but It will work on the wi-fi version as well.
One thing I did differently was I download the zip file straight from my tablet, and then ran Cwm recovery to install it from the SD card, rather than downloading it on my computer, transferring it to my tablet, and then installing it. Could that be it?

Nope, I don't think that will help. Maybe you should post this in the A1 kernel thread for AAcount to help you.

Tried posting there a few days ago before even flashing asking a couple questions about the Kernel with no response. I guess there isn't much activity in that thread anymore.
Update
So I tried installing the A1 kernel again to see what would happen, and I ended up with the same result. For some reason after I install this kernel, the device orientation gets all topsy turvy: the screen will either always be flipped, or the screen will not rotate at all.
I restored my nandroid backup and everything is normal now, running the CM kernel instead of the A1.
Can anyone help me?
