I edited bootanimations from link 1 and 4. You can download it from here http://www.multiupload.com/49S8CTLN3F
I modify the androidminimalgreen (from here) to fit tattoo screen (QVGA), and made each frame smaller then 15KB. If anyone would like to try, it can be download from here.

I glad to give you the NEW version of Animated Startup for Prophet!
As you know for nowadays we use files from Touch.
Such as:
HTCUtil.dll
HTClib.dll
But now i present you the animation based on HTCInit.dll
I think that this is more good for our device.
Attached cab consist of:
1. HTCinit.dll
2. StartupAnimation.dll
3. Animation.dll
4. Playsnd.dll - i dont check the StartUp sound
5. Animated.gif - from Touch
If you want to use yours favorite animation, just rename it to animated.gif and copy with replace to yours device in windows folder
Dimensions of Animated.gif must be 240*320 in portrait orientation.
Thanks, works great!
soo, how does it look like? could you provide some pictures?
This is animation.

Size of animation must be 240*320 i.e. Portrait orientation!
It's in the WM6 section,
So I assume it's not for WM5?
I installed it and after two soft resets it still shows WM5 blue startscreen and circulating icon...

2 different tabs 2 different wallpaper sets ..
I'm trying to get the wallpaper out from one ..
Anyone know where to find the location of the wallpaper files ?

I mean as in finding the picture in the directories ..
I want to copy one set of wallpaper and put it i nto another tab
they're in Launcher2.apk. Just open it with 7-zip or something.

Any idea how to revert back to 3.0
Is anyone successful in extracting this Galaxy Tab wallpaper?
http://www.55tablets.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/samsung-galaxy-tab.jpg
That's not an official Honeycomb wallpaper, at least not that I know of.
You can grab them all here. The one I use is Glowy Hex, looks awesome on my Tab:

The beauty is that you don't need to rebuild the launcher2.apk to insert those images... if you sync your tablet with a Google account, all you have to do is upload your preferred wallpaper to Gallery and use it as background.
If you ever flash your tablet or do a permanent erase, once you restore your Google account, it will also restore your background even if the image is not present anymore in your tablet sdcard. I was surprised to see that, when I did a complete wipe. It took a while, but eventually the background popped... I don't remember if it showed after I restarted the tablet... I know that after the initial app re-sync it was not there but it showed like magic 15-20min later on my tablet.

Thanks, Can you port it to X10 Mini ?
Great! I want to try this, but is this working on modded FroyoRoms for X8?
Add more information on the first post???? Will you??? Flash xrec or Cwm???....
3 things :
1) good job m8
2) could you move the cyanogen logo a little bit down ? Like right in the middle...like our cm7 bootlogo
3) could you make the begining animation (before the explosion and cm9 words) shorter ? Cuz now by the time the explosion part starts playing, the phone vibrates and shows the home screen (cant see the cm9 part )
Im not demanding you fix it. Im actually glad someone has done this

You can get it on the middle BUT this will make CyanogenMod9 cut.
What I mean is the number 9 itself will be cut. You can get it here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1511501
320x480 Cut (Cut version. I didn't tried this before.)
320x480 Cut @60fps (Cut version. I think it is smoother because it is 60fps.)
320x480 (This is stretched. The rotating arrow is not circle.)

Official Bootanimation
Here is the NEW official one --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1701632
Cool bro thanks
Sent from my Boston using xda premium
got it from here: http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/01/18/jelly-bean-xperia-boot-animation-available-to-download/
then modified the desc.txt it to fit our screen and removed the "XPERIA" screen from the boot animation, so its just the animated part (reduced the file size somewhat by doing this).
download the file HERE
rename it to bootanimation.zip
place in data/local
reboot and enjoy
Preview (note that the images were degraded to create the gif, will run smoother and look better on your screen)

Thanks a lot. I like it.
I was up all night making this for my phone and thought I would share it. 1920x1080, I had a hell of a time getting it down to the size it is now and I still thinks its a little large, but it doesn't create any lag and the animation is smooth.
Unrar and copy to your sd card and then copy into system/media, be sure to rename the original boot animation before you copy over the new one.
this is just 20 frames of the animation.
