{Q} Where to get transparent black market? - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As it says, where can I get the most recent market? I think I have one for 2.3.3 but it keeps overwriting it.. Also how do I find out what version the market is actually up to, and how do I freeze it with Titanium Backup? Haven't been able to find anything on that one.
Thanks!

Don't press and hold down on it, just tap and you'll get the option to freeze it.

I got the Black Transparent also but there is no way for me to sign up an account. Can anybody help me please?

Moved to Q&A as not development.
You can't really do this, as you need to install the app via the market. It's a form of piracy protection.

Actually, he can do it, by using the latest version of Titanium Backup and option is working fine, tried it myself.
Titanium Backup will attach apps to market as long as apk wasn't modified. It also works for paid apps, but in that case purchase won't be authorised when you wish to update and Market will present the Buy Now dialog.

But that didn't work for me... I don't know why but it is a free app....
It isn't really meant to work, so I can't really help. Either way, paid apps won't work with this method.
I'll try it with a free app myself, though I don't quite think it will work... not sure why, just a feeling
I have noticed that when I restore a nand backup that all my apps come back and the market recognises them.

Safe 2 Remove Apps

Please tell me a list of apps that are safe to remove from XperiA X10 (2.1).
Also, I use Moxier to access my office emails. Is there a way to install the updated version from market? I tried it, and it did not let me install it even after rooting.
Lastly I have an icon on the application drawer which reads "org.microemu.android.Micro..." What is this? And How can I get rid of it?
theres a thread already made with a full list of safe to remove apps, look around for it

It can't be updated because it's protected. Use Titanium Backup to uninstall Moxier. Then you should be able to get the latest version (which I believe you would have to buy).

It's org.microemu.android.MicroEmulator, which is a part of Opera Mini. It can also be used to run other JavaME apps on Android, but I can't find any list of apps that uses it. Did you delete Opera manually or something? Maybe it left some files behind. You could try installing and uninstalling Opera Mini.

Facebook issues

I tried to update the Facebook for Android app in the market to the newest version just now, but after it downloaded it wouldn't install, saying something about the package not being signed correctly (or something along those lines). So I decided to try to uninstall my current Facebook first and then install the new one thinking that would work. I backed up Facebook using Titanium Backup and uninstalled it. Then I went to the market and downloaded it again. However, it wouldn't install once again (saying "Incompatible update" this time). So I think, OK whatever, I'll just restore my old Facebook, which worked fine. But when I try to restore it using Titanium Backup, that won't work either! It just says "Application not installed." So what do I do? This is the first time that Titanium Backup wouldn't restore something for me. Has anyone had this problem before? Thanks in advance.
I'm rooted, running CM7 Stable, MattedBlues theme, and faux123 CFS kernel.
I'm not sure if this will help you. Here is a copy of the facebook APK, version 1.5.2, before the last update that messed everything up.

Weirdest thing ever. I rebooted my phone and my old facebook was back! No Titanium Backup or anything, it was just there. Except the icon didn't have the MattedBlues theme like it did before (which is odd). Not gonna try updating again obviously, since it works now.
Thanks for the apk though, that's what I would have tried if it didn't magically appear.

Hmmm, I haven't had problems syncing contacts. I have noticed that you need to go back in and select it after the intial setup for the settings to 'stick' though.
Also the offical FB app is horrible. I wish the Bloo developer was still developing.
New FB updated is out! All bug fixes should be fixed now!

2.3.3 problems.. LOL here we go.

(Q) Market Links Broken

Been over a month now, and I cannot fix my market links. I've tried numerous apps to to try to fix it but no go. I even tried titanium backup pro and that was a no go. I'm on android market 3.3.12. If anyone knows how to fix, please send me to the right direction. It's getting annoying to use appbrain to update because it doesn't always show all updates to all my apps. I will thank everyone that helps, I just want my apps to show up in my downloads in the market.

This link worked for me back a couple versions ago - just update the permissions - http://www.droid-life.com/2011/10/10/download-android-market-version-3-2-0/. Also, did you try clearing data and cache to see if that worked? If neither work, try a fresh install. Attached is the latest version.

Have you tried Wiping Market and the Market Updater Data in Titanium Backup? Try that...
Also Try Wiping Downloads, and HTC Checking!
