Since flashing Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 Update V06, every time I open a contact I get an infinite view force close. Does anyone know how to solve this?
Ive also had the same problems but i just reflashed the rom and updates and it was gone. You could give it a shot but there might be side effects.
After doing so, at random, i get multiple force close for settings, contacts, messaging and almost everything thats running. And the only way to solve it was a reboot. I dont mind reboots since its quick so i dont think i'll reflash my rom for a third time..wolfbreaks rom is the 1st i used without having major probs so i dont mind the fc's.

Not sure I want to end up with having random force closes from multiple applications, but it is really annoying not being able to look at contacts.

I had the same problem, and I reflash and did no installl the timescape and everything goes perfect.

Then why not try reflashing the update or just the rom 1st? And slowly make your way up? More time consuming but its safe.

I've fixed the issue on my phone now as I removed the event stream engine app which didn't uninstall when I removed Timescape. Anyone else having this issue should make sure they remove the event stream engine.

New update is up : v 6.0.1. This should fix your problem.

I'm running Freex10 Beta 4 on my x10 with Honeycomb SJ CM 6.1.x V4.6 Theme and recently all my stock apps have been force closing. The first one is usually Calendar, then soon Gmail, Market, Media and even Settings follow it. I often get process.android.acore force closing after that as well. The force close messages happen fairly often from that point on, and the only way I can fix it is by rebooting my phone. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Well I am not sure but I know you are using a cm theme but not a cm rom. that may be the problem

definately the theme. this problem will occur for any ROM that doesnt have a theme thats compatible with it

I've tried uninstalling the theme and the problem still persisted. I flashed my phone and the problem went away for a while, but it came back after a day or so without the theme installed. :/
My settings keep force closing on me whenever I try to click on something to get more information. For example when I went to motion and clicked the smart alert button to learn more it would freeze and then force close on me every time. Is anybody else experiencing this? I'm on stock rooted rom.
(Also the xda premium app force closes a lot too.. Just a side note.)

boot into recovery and clear cache and dalvik cache and that should fix it. Also, what rooted rom are you running?
I pretty much on stock rooted rom, it's actually Whitehawks debated stock rom. And all I did was flash that rom and use Robinsons aroma debloater full debloat. That was a long time back and then I just installed my regular market apps. The setting things I just noticed a couple days back. I didn't go into settings much. Gapps also frequently force closes too, I don't know what's causing it.
The xda force close is because I think something is wrong with the app. I saw reviews on play saying the same thing.
But yeah I didn't mess with freezing or un installing with tit bacmup.
I'll try and do the dalvik wipe and see what happens.

Tried doing the dalvik and cache wipe problem persists. The settings just force close when I learn more about smart alert and like try it and others like it, also on phone status. It just bugs me.
I really don't want to wipe and install again

I am also having this message ever since I use a self modded systemui based off modded apk,
If you google around, you will find lot of information about this, I have tried all of them and none work for me lol. Some say it is normal some say it isn't. I guess it is normal for first boot when we done something or wipe caches but for every reboot, I don't think so. The phone still work the way it is though, guess have to ignore it till someone knows how to fix it?
I use a self modded framework in my P it says a huge amount of sms r being sent while booting in home screen after every reeboot..i just ignore it.

It's a simple authentication of installed apps. Happens on first time you flash stuffs/install fw/upgrade os/clear cache partition/clear dalvik cache/format system.

Since upgrading to Jellybean Optus edition my phone freezes every time there's pending updates in Google Play. I dont actually get to know about the notification until I reboot. Then it comes through. Turning off auto update doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't know what to check if there is some conflict with an app that Ive installed that could be causing the lockup.
Regards
Pete

Just clear data and cache by going to application manager.

I tried that and it didn't fix the problem. I am suspecting that Instagram may be causing the problem as it this has been running in the background each time the freeze occurs.

App collision by instagram? if you really think that is the reason send a bug report to instagram dev's.
Try uninstalling instagram and check whether the problem occurs again though.

Everytime I use Facebook messenger ill receive these errors one right after the other. They appear after I send a message or shutdown the app. I uninstalled and re-installed and the same thing keeps happening. Thanks in advance.

Wipe and flash the rom again also what launcher are you using ?
No rom, just stock rooted. Using GO launcher. However I've been using GO launcher for a loong time now including having both apps of which neither has had a recent update

I have problems with messenger when I have the chat heads active. I will receive the system ui crash lots of times and then when I disable it I never see the error again. Might be worth a try?
I've had the chat heads disabled since they first came out, not a fan.
Well I narrowed it down at least. It was my launcher (GO Launcher) I set sense as my default and used FB messenger and didn't receive the messages. No to figure out why. I'm gonna contact GO as they have EXCELLENT customer service, partly the reason I use their products.

Huh that's strange that you all of a sudden started getting errors with that launcher even though you've used it for a long time. Glad that you were able to get it narrowed down though and hopefully they will have an idea of what's wrong and how to fix it
