What are you trying to save to pdf? I know that Firefox, lets you save the current web page that you're at into a pdf file.
A web page actually. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip but even with this option enabled, no dice. It really isn't the end of the world, I did look into this before and couldn't find solution. It may be some obscure setting I have enabled somewhere or other, just can't find it.
Some times download procedure doesn't work. Opera never fail.

Hey guys, I'm trying to view MS publisher files on my tablet, but to no avail. Can anyone help me out or refer an app? I'm looking for a direct viewing, not the pub to PDF solution. Thanks!

Just to clarify, TheHighlightGuy is asking for a Microsoft Publisher .pub file viewer, not an EPUB (Electronic Publication) viewer.
I don't think you will find anything for android, .pub is not really a popular format. Maybe your only option is using the pub -> pdf method. Doing a quick search on the web, I found this site http://www.zamzar.com/ where you can upload your pub file and is converted to pdf. I don't know how secure is or if it does a good conversion, but it's an option.
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!

I used the zamzar.com website and it worked great. It converted a .pub file in a few seconds. Thank you very much for the person that took their time and responded.

Microsoft publisher is a quite good program for making flyers and posters...pity it's not that popular, it also makes Microsoft office package more expensive..

You want to convert an excel sheet to an apk file?
Not remotely possible on a "plug and play" thing, even on a project this simple, it wud take extensive code work to do it...

What is your goal? If you just want to view it, why not use an office document view like quickoffice?

Excel file shows praying times. Its better if it is an apk other than using a office program to open it.

You could take the data from the spreadsheet and display it in the form of a table within a apk but it depends on if you want the spreadsheet to be editable etc

No, editable. I only want to see. Look at pic. In office i have to resize it every time and i want it full screen.
OK I could do this for a small price PM me and we will talk

Please just press the PrtScn key and open paint or any other photo editor program, then paste and crop to eliminate the things that you don't want around your image.
I use my device for studying, and find myself needing to copy and paste images which I need to annotate, however, I have yet to find an app which allows me to easily paste an image and write or draw on it, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have to return some video tapes....
Probably should have said so in my original post, but I've tried several programs already including skitch and sketchboard, and neither one suits me.
Both of them do not allow simple image pasting.

Have you tried Markers? Its good for annotation, and you can use the share feature from any gallery to bring the picture into markers..

So since google has abandoned QuickOffice for Google Docs and Sheets, I've removed QuickOffice and installed the latter two.
I can open excel files fine when in Dropbox app but Android doesn't recognize a application that can open my word files, .docx.
Am I missing something?
Edit: doesn't seem to be related to only Dropbox, google drive and local files as well. I can go inside the google docs app and still can't open a word file locally. Really unimpressed with Google right now
Thanks in advance!

This is one of the reasons why I haven't switched to those standalone apps. I'm still sticking with Quickoffice until Google brings .doc and .docx support to their Docs app.
