It depends. If you're running a supporting ROM of the lockscreen changer, go to Settings > Display > Unlock Screen.
If not, you can download WidgetLocker (paid) which has multiple lockscreens.

You mean changing the way it looks? Or the image?
Just so people are aware widget locker looks good but does drain your battery a lot so i just stick with the normal lockscreen.

That I said at least 10 times, but people don't care as they love the app so much
Just flash a ROM that has lockscreens...

If you mean change the image then hit the menu button from the home screen and select "settings"
In the subsequent menu select "Display" then the top menu item "Screen Display". On this menu you will find options to set font size, home screen wallpaper, lock screen wallpaper and lock screen clock position.
Some widgets also offer lock screen custom options.
You can also go to the "Location and Security" menu in the main settings menu for some other options on the lock screen like password or pattern requirements to unlock.

Is it possible to create a shortcut to lockscreen and place it e.g. on my homescreen?
I'd like to only show the lockscreen, without turning off the screen.
There are many applications on market, but they all lock device and turn the screen off.
If there is such an option in tasker, I must have missed it.

Yes, exactly.
I'd like to utilize the lockscreen as a "gesture shortcut" application (why install another app, when CM lockscreen has all I need?).
so i'm looking for an app(doesn't need to be fancy) that would change the lockscreen wallpaper automatically like say,everytime i press the power button to check the time.(imagine your desktop wallpaper changing every 5 mins- something like that) i can't use fancy widget lockers because i use a pattern-security lock and it would be pointless to unlock and then do another swipe to use the phone. anybody here has an idea of what can do this? thanks:laugh::laugh:

My personal understanding, u go to Settings find security> Lock screen> Swipe lock option. U try lock and unlock that should change back to swipe to unlock style. The lockscreen wallpaper u can find at Play store.

You can go setting >security >screen lock>and choose what you want
download an app for it.. widget locker
I would suggest magiclocker
1. You can change lock screen style with original style from your device.
Settings - Security - Screen Lock - < Pick Lock Screen Style >
2. You can change with custom lock screen style with apps from Play Store. Just search with "Lock Screen" or "Screen Lock", and you can find many apps that support you to change your lock screen. Download and install screen lock apps that fit with your want.
I just got a Mate 20 Pro and while searching through the settings, I could not find the magazine unlock feature inside the Home screen and wallpaper menu. I only see themes and wallpapers option on top but not the magazine unlock as shown in multiple reviews. Am I missing something? The phone displays a different image everytime I try to unlock it but I don't see the option in the settings which would allow me to select the images I want.

This never even worked for me. I have magazine unlock turned on, but I only always get the same pic. I can only switch them manually.
In lockscreen swipe once, then make sure the lock icon in lower left corner is set to unlocked

That's the thing. It's unlocked and seems to be working but I can't find the option in the settings menu from where you can select which images are to be included in the display cycle.

Check home screen settings..
Damn, I can't put up a screenshot from my Google drive otherwise I could've shown how that option is not present at all in the Home screen and wallpapers menu

After update i think the magazine lockscreen settings vanished. As far as I know, the only way to enable or disable it is in the theme settings.
Magazine lockscreen settings are still there:
Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine unlock

What he meant is this... I also don't have the option of magazine unlock..
