Is there a way to install Flash Player Lite?
The lite version, like on the Wii, would be enough for me.

Netflix problem on rooted Vibrant

Hi everyone!
I'm having a problem installing netflix on my Galaxy S Vibrant, I tried installing the two apk files that are have in this post and I get an error stating there's a problem parsing the package. I wanted to know if there is any way around that without having to mod it to cm7 or trigger, etc.
If anyone can help me that'd be cool and greatly appreciated.
This is my phone info:
T-mobile Galaxy S Vibrant
Firmware is 2.1update1
Kernel: 2.6.29
Build: Eclair
If any other info is needed please let me know.
Thanks

You need gingerbread.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
The app only works on gingerbread, upgrade to cm7
From what I remember netflix works on any 2.3 roms. And yes the phone has to rooted!

I was hoping I didn't have to, it drains my battery life like there's no tomorrow

I modded my phone to cm7 and Netflix still isn't working on my phone, it tries to update but then fails. I've tried both the apk files and only the mod-2 installs.
Help? Lol

Same happens to me, asks to update. I hit cancel and it pops up fine.
Something about editing the build.prop to have your phone ID'd as a different model, then netflix will show on the market and you can upgrade.
Problem solved

how did you solve it?
if your on 2.3 then just install it from the market lol

Only problem with opera, it doesn't have flash support but probably has the best built in downloader..no need in having 2 or more browsers, so pick one and stick to it

Flash player

Is der any flash player for galaxy 5?
Sent from my GT-I5500 using xda premium
Yes, there is.
http://hotfile.com/dl/123103829/01ada9f/AdobeFlashPlayer_ARMv6.zip.html
There are two versions of the file. Try both of them, and see which one works best.
It's recommended you overclock the phone's cpu in order to get it working properly.
However, it's not a great flash player. Sometimes it works well, but most of the time it just crashes.
Thnk u so mch
