right now, I'm using Zenexp but then I put Aloyosus (probably spelled wrong) either one and the sense clock shows up and the clouds come out squares.
I dono about you, but the clouds in my sky are all square. Maybe you should try moving?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA! I literally just busted out laughing here at work. Now people are staring.....
Go in circles around and around in your office chair. xD
can we close the Cloud jokes and find out what I can do with this issue?

what do you mean? I know that whichever rom I use its the same thing over and over. Like example; if its a rainy day, you see white small boxes dripping down the screen. Don't know what it can be. I must have deleted something that's causing this. If I go to the actual weather widget to pick a city the effects are fine. its the effects on my home screen that its happening.
Did you wipe before flashing a new rom? Sounds like if your problem carried over to Aloysius maybe you forgot.
Sent from my ERIS using XDA App
Its the lwp patch from aloysius conflicting with the htc weather wallpaper animations. the patch breaks weather wallpaper. you need to add this file to /system/lib/egl in the aloysius thread to fix it. its not a flashable zip, open the zip, extract the egl.cfg file and push it or use root explorer or an equivalent to paste it.

Hi Community
has anyone yet played around with framework-res for 2.1?
i tried a bit.
seems to me that not only the basics but 90%+ of the "theme" (icons, bg, other color giving PNGs) are now located in framework-res.
so basically to change whole theme you need a working framework-res & then search the even fewer (than 1.6) spots left blue ^^
here's my first atempt (yes it's awful, but nontheless good result for my first steps )
though, i do not recomend use this, as i kinda mixed up sth with .9.png, popups kinda look funny sometimes, still haven't found all i broke ^^

ok here we go with how to flash it without startup loop:
basically it is safe to just take an already running installer ^^
i choose Chewitt's theme installer for my purposes.
like his work on x10 & thought it a great installer for themes.
edited a bit, if you like i can give you my package, though i might have to retranslate to english, since i ported it to german for a german forum
give me some minute
edit: here we go
but pay attention! it unsecures your shell, giving a computer or script root in EVERY case ^^
resecuring though can be done by doing step 1 with other chmod value

I dont know if multiply the same thread makes any sense.

good job!worked fine on x10 mini..
Do we need to resign the framework-apk before using the installer?
anyone played with /system/media/bootanimation.zip ?
I have start to edit the lockscreen. But its not ready yet.
First pictures
Edit: does anyone know how to change the clock on lockscreen?
my best guess would be to edit the widget provided by se ^^
seems to me perfectly the same ^^
any1 tried?
k that was rubbish ^^
btw, does anyone know where to find the "end call" button?
i found a dummy in SemcPhone, but did not change a thing (since it changes with language i think it to be a drawable xml..)

BTW (and sorry for the offtopic), can you tell wich app are you using to take the screenshots ?? I´ve tried a lot and all of them make the shots unviewable filling the whole picture with distorted and messed lines (even the same apps were working perfect on donut).

i use Droid Explorer on PC...there's a screenshot and even a screencast...
haven't found an app that works on 2.1 mini/pro yet...
wish someone could break the bootloader already so we won't have to painstakingly edit each png file we could find...
i would if i know how...
great work for everyone here!
you guys are brave!
wow! this is amazing! i rly hope u are done with this soon, its gonna be my first priority to download!! good work.
well as i posted previously i already tried to alter DigitalClockWidget.apk
the widget changed, but the lockscreen..
so DigitalClockWidget may not be (the only?) source
and well yes i altered images in ALL folders where i found clockrelated pngs
(there are three if i remember correctly..)
You can do a logcat while activating the lock screen on the phone.. Maybe you have some clues there...
that lock screen looks awesome! but wouldnt it be better if you did it black to go with a black theme I think that would look better, I'm not really fond of blue
EDIT: search for ShootMe in the market for screenshot app

FLIPPING CLOCK FOR WILDFIRE -- Taken from SFM 1.1--
This is a bug free Sense clock (Flipclock) for the wildfire taken from the SFM 1.1 ROM.The clock behaves as the normal HTC clock(Tapping either takes you to Desk clock app or weather app) but has added FLIPPING animation .I have used it for a few hours and havent noticed any bugs. All credits to evilisto and someone else's zip file( i didn't know how to sign or whatever them).Brickbats are for me.
To be performed at your own risk.
This requires a rooted wildfire with recovery(i used CWM 2.5.0.7) and any SENSE rom
(I havent tried it on any other rom)
Please follow the instruction or u MAY have a TINY problem.
1.Make a nandroid backup
2.The previous HTC sense flipclock (only the big(4x2) thing with white squares on which Time is diplayed in black) widget should be somewhere on ur homescreens and preferably there should be an empty row beneath it.(U'll later learn y)
3.Put attached Sense21clock.zip onto sdcard root
4.Reboot into recovery and use " Install zip from sdcard" and select the file and confirm.Reboot Device.
5. Voila.U are done.Enjoy The SENSuous flipping animation when u unlock the phone and when u patiently wait for each minute to pass.
This has a problem though. U can no longer see the clock in ur widgets list. But since u already have it, that shouldn't be a problem) .Also the empty row of icons was required because the clock becomes 4x3 now, But it displays date, day, time, weather and location.
if u ever want to revert back the clock u will have to reflash the older OLDSenseclock.zip
Tested on DK Froyo 4.5.1 . Animation may be a bit jittery at stock speeds(528 Mhz)(esp after unlocking device) or that may be just me.Excuse the SMS language inputs.
For those with strange weather animations
(i mean like those in post number 7's attachments)
solved by patrask-Freeze HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk with Titanium Backup or
0.Make nandroid backup
1.Ensure u have a file HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk in ur system\apps directory (Use root explorer or something)
2.Remove HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk by following instructions from this link
http://iamandroid.com/profiles/blogs/guide-android-how-to-easily
3.Reboot.It might take a while to reboot so take a coffee break.
This will not work on non-sense based ROMS.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
tested it and yes you are right that there's a bit of excess lines at the center of each number when you've restored it from the locked screen. There's a similar one that I've been using which was taken from desireHD and ported it over the WF.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=960189
The problem with it is that the weather is cropped beneath the City and the Date but you can remove it and place it again as a widget.
Thanks anyway.
@rrbhootham
thanks very much! Its great
Could you try to port the sfm 1.1 lockscreen(sense 3.0) for our sense roms? Just flashing the htclockscreen.apk doesnt work...

Nice clock. It works pretty good, but there is a problem with the weather animation (see the pictures below). It seems that the weather graphics are missing. Is there anyway to embed them, or at least a way to disable the weather animation?

Hi rrbhootham,
I'have JockerDroid 4.2 and I installed the WildPuzzle Original Framework in order to restore the original framework since I didn't like some customizations made by the JockerDroid ROM.
Most probablly the wheater animation problem is caused by that patch. I'll try reflasching the ROM to check if the problem persist.
Anyway it would be interesting if someone else is having the weather animation working properly.
Please, check the video in the attachement for another demonstration of the weather error.

Im also having weather animation problems, if someone had figured out a way how to fix it, please respond as soon as possible
Thanks in advance...

Hello Marshall,
I was googling around and i found this http://androidforums.com/eris-all-t...g-weather-animation-issues-w-latest-leak.html . The thread says this might be due to any graphics fixes. If u check JokerDroid 4.2's changelog there are graphics fixes mentioned, and that might be for the transparency of the menus and stuff and i believe this messes the transparency of the older weather animations.it might not have anything to do with the framework pack. i'll keep looking into this.

I found this thread http://geekfor.me/hero/fixes/rosie-lwp-fix-opengl/ where they're talking about OpenGL fix which is used to enable Livewallpapers but introduces the weather animation bug.
In the thread there is also a patch to revert back to the old OpenGL but I'm not sure if it will work for our Wildfire since it is for the Eris.
As soon as I can I'll try that patch (after a nandroid backup, of course) too see if it works...

Hello Marshall,
That might break ur JokerDroid Rom so i recommend u remove HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk from ur phone's system\app directory with adb.U can follow this link for details http://iamandroid.com/profiles/blogs/guide-android-how-to-easily . After that weather animation will no longer work(properly or improperly).

yes that worked as well cool nice 1
I have questions.
Did you add an 0 before the 1 digit hours? like 9:07 -> 09:07 or 3:15 -> 03:15
Sometimes I come across a Clock bug on stock Froyo. The date and weather info is on the lower right of the widget by default but sometimes it comes to lower center. Did something like this happened?
Another bug with original Clock is when you remove the widget sometimes the transparent base stays on the home. Did this happened too?
That's all. Thx in advance.

Borderlight live wallpaper
Hi, this is a thing I made when I got my OP6 a few months back, I stumbled across it today and figured I should post it here because some of you guys might like it. The picture explains how it looks quite well, the gradient also shifts the colors.
The entire thing was made in a day and no development was done since then (so take it for what it is), but it works well and does not crash nor drain the battery. There are no settings whatsoever! Maybe if you guys will like it (or have some neat ideas) I'll make an improved version.
Update 11/1/2018:
App was moved to a different forum, get the latest version here!
Update 10/14/2018:
Rendering is still using android canvases, but I've added settings that should allow you to customize the wallpaper for your phone, including custom notch settings (with a bit of trial and error). These settings are temporary and I'll try to make them better and more intuitive later. It's also possible to export your settings - you can post them here (inside code tags) for other people to use. To import them, you just need to select the entire settings code, copy it and tap "Import settings from clipboard" in the app.

I was thinking of the same thing if someone could do this.
And you did this.
It would be a great help if you can add an option to choose custom wallpaper from gallery and the RGB edges remains the same.
Amazing work, absolutely love this live wallpaper ??
Works like a charm, awesome work !

Thank you! Looks awesome!
Can we have an option to only set for lockscreen or homescreen? Currently it sets both but I only want it for lockscreen.
Also love the preview haha ?️
I love it! I was literally just about to look for something like this and I found this thread .
(( I wanted this so bad... It just crashes upon pressing activate for me... Looks sweet tho thru the pics

awesome!
Thanx for this but would be super awesome with some settings available for example adding a background image.
My current background doesn't flicker but it is similar.
Some strange network error isn't allowing me to upload a screen shot
Cool..
but... how about screen burn... is this safe ?

Can it be setup to activate only when charging and only one light Ray going around?
