Creating a development team CM7 2.3.3 port - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi I'm currently working with the 2.3.3 version 8 of owain94 xcyanogen and jerpelea
The problem comes in that I stopped a bit to develop this.
I know like me there are more people looking and trying things.
My idea is a bit centralize the work. And that all who are willing to carry a 100% cm7 to mini and mini pro team work.
My idea is basically:
In creating a very basic cm7 with few programs and the basic functions of mobile and begin to develop on it the things not yet working properly.
Encourage you and begin to work together with 1 purpose
I have the people currently working on their projects as owain Cm7 94 and slade87, Chumby_666, galaningenieros
Among some things I can not understand and I can not but surely coming to understand that with your help and together we took it.
Forgive my English is very bad ...

Im already working on that as you can see on my tweaks , but something like a team?, i think we are already a team helping between us.

if that is clearly ...
but if it is true that what you've done and tested I've tried on my part for what they are hours of work ... Put it this way worked 2 times ...
That's why we work to unite and join forces ... for example, someone gets to the other with the wifi radio another pair with the gfx and so spreading the work and testing it in a database when we changed version advances.
Right now the way we work is released a version and tried all things on it ... but for example the module mt overclock and are not required even for me is more important than the vital functions of mobile work in 2.3.3 100% NO?

well i'm noob in porting..
but i agree..
Camera / FM Radio are more important than OC / Dual Touch ...
Watching and comparing source codes of CM7 and SE i dicovered some things
1. ) it is not libaudio that is problem for fm radio but dbus we need working dbus becoure fmrx.so is failing to load due no /dev/dbus or something and fmreceiverif can't send init script to fm submodule due no "fmrx service".
2. ) we need to make unified hw/egl subsystem. Due X8/X10* have same hw.
3. ) Camera is crashing becouse CM7 camera uses media_profiles.xml and semcCamera has all in apk. And CM7 Camera uses bigger audio buffer than semcCamera and as i said dbus lib needs to be fixed..

The problem is that we have this:
x10 mini
mini pro x10
x8
10 or 15 trying many things to carry the 2.3.3 and if we unify all we would have soon ...
X8 and x10 are really the same? to hardware differences between the 3 or modules should separate?
x8 is a 3.2 megapixel camera but the rest is like the x10?
mini pro x10 has the keyboard and I think the screen is different from the x10 mini

ro.board=???? if we use factory names don't see problem in unifiy usr/hw parts. screen sizes libEGL holds all standard screen sizes in side only diff is which device fd=?? .. frame device id will open 17, 18, 5, 6. unifiying that would be step closer.. becouse shakira opens one robyn other so you can't use copybit/gralloc from one on another becouse it is copying/whatever in wrong one...
all three devices are based on alsa audio arhitecture vs htc some on alsa other on oss.. and it seems that hciattach from SE is much better than on htc. and ro.is_brmc=0|1 or something for some roms works for some doesn't can't figureout why... there was in original init script denoded service nexus as far as i was able to find some info nice tool it sets wifi, bt, vold, and some other things.. all in one. according dude on legend fm porting. fm could be digital/analog or both depending on implementation on manufacturer side so that needs to be take in math too.. i'm comparing CM7 vs SE kernel ( not from FreeXperia) but original clean SE sources and must say SE job well done..(sarcarm)

The devs are helping each other here
Like nobodyatall racht willweer doxihan chumby slade J and the others the name i cant remember or cant write from memory
When we pm each other we try always to answer atleast if we see the pm
Btw chumby im home again can come tonight on msn or tomorrow i will talk to you when i see u online

The Ultimate Custom X10 Rom

Ok so the Xperia X10 community has had it hard and there’s a lot of anger and resentment in the forums and all over the net. I know I’ve voiced my views with many degrees of hurt till I’m blue in the face but it doesn’t change much and generally puts everyone in a bad and defeated mood.
So I was thinking that while the amazing developers are hard at work trying to open the bootloader which would in turn bring the dawn of custom roms to the X10 what could I do to help them and the community look forward and do something positive.
So I thought rather than hug trees and kiss your neighbour why not start a thread with the sole purpose of designing a Rom in preparation for the day when the bootloader is cracked open.
I’m no coder but I can create graphic assets for UI’s and then I got to thinking what if we took a look at all the Roms out there that looked good or have excellent features that we would want in an X10 rom and from those ideas and new ones we could start the look and feel of a Rom with us in mind.
Now that would cheer everyone up surely. It could be something for us all to be proud of and for the other kitchens to take cues from as well.
So firstly lets post screen shots of things we think are ace, features we love or want, animation styles that are to die for even if they are scanned pencil sketches on paper. It would keep us occupied and give the developers some breathing space.
Just an idea
I love the idiea that sounds great wat ik would like to see are a few standard apps in the rom as rainy days titanium back up silent mode a good agenda msn talk pingchat and a good working alternitive internet browser.
if they could be put in the rom then we dont have to download them from the market.

Having particular apps included is always a bonus but i'm thinking about the Rom features them selves and how it works to make using the phone better or at least different.
See the link for an example (Not that i want my phone to look like an iPhone copy BTW)
http://www.androidcentral.com/miui-rom-now-available-motorola-droid
A great idea. I hope this will lead to some great rom's. I'm new to android and xda and I only know Python and Free pascal, so I cannot help with programming, but I will surely post it here if I come up with something.
Sent from my X10i mini pro
If i remember correctly jerpelea has already compiled CM6 for X10..
I would like to see the Desire HD ROM to be ported . As it has already been ported to Nexus One and the Desire running the same Snapdragon QSD8250 it should not be much of a trouble..
I was thinking that a site just like Slax builder http://www.slax.org/build.php would be amazing.
If people could choose what apps, themes etc etc then download the custom rom I think it would be a hit...
If I knew more about rom dev I would love to have a go at seeing if this kind of thing would possible for x10 android roms. I'd be up for the dev of the site.
I would like to see on my X10 let's see.....any custom ROM.
Get Sense running on it (Android 2.2) and I'll buy an X10.
yeah good idea, but i prefer to focus our power on bootloader crack..or kick SE insiders to make them think about better decisions...but i look back, keep further..
oh, it will be great a modaco type rom maker, u know, like u choose what u want to implement to it....

A Rom with user selectable options sounds great, also sounds like a lot of work for the Dev's as essentially the rom would be compiled by the user via a gui then installed.

I think we should face the facts of the past events and give up on SE changing their direction on the X10's software lifecycle.
In all their statements not once do they apologise for not meeting the dates they set or not be close to the expectations of the X10 owners. In truth i sense an air of annoyance that they have to make statements on their own blog at all.
Future devices will be better and not so lacking on smart phone hardware standards but that will be based on associated developer requests rather than us or the general publics want and wishes.
That’s why I thought of this thread so we can end the disappoints because we’ll create what we want.
Cool idea.
Can i suggest the rom should have:
Launcher and interface:
ADW Launcher
Some 3rd party lock screen that is better than the stock, but not a buggy one
SMS Popup
SlideIT Keyboard
Beautiful Weather and Clock widget
Browser:
XScope G browser
Stock Browser as backup
Multimedia:
Doubletwist Music Player
iTag
Vignette
screenshot
Shazam
RingDroid
Utilities/Tools:
Unit Converter
SwiftFTP
gMote
Titanium Backup
EasyTether Lite
RealCalc Scientific Calculator
Xperia Flashlight
I'd suggest a clean ROM Apps can be installed later..
I'm not sure this is the right place to put this, and please don't freak out, you Windows Mobile haters, but I would like to see the X10 be able to dual boot Android and Windows Mobile.

I'm with you. A nice clean, stock ROM would be the best. Everybody can install apps for themselves (heard of AppBrain? ). Designing a ROM with pre-installed apps will be very difficult, since everybody has other tastes/likes. (For example: I hate everything pre-installed. I want to be able to choose what to install on my phone. I also hate that the pre-installed apps that come with a phone can't be uninstalled. They're just taking up precious space...)

I would pay 25,00 euros for S2U2 on my X10!! The only reason I miss WinMo...
Could be cool with duel boot on the x10i. But i would say, focus on getting a clean room first, for when the bootloader is cracked. Just with standard stuff like the browser, etc.
The CM for x10 would be amazing yes, but a custom room only for the x10, why not but good luck

That's right!
I just need a clean n OPTIMIZED for our snap dragon and GPU and memory ...thats enough ...
really news on bootloader has dried up... and lock screen in x10 is killing me and making me break the phone...
i simply wish we had a better ROM with all those resource hogging apps out of the system.
also i simply wish we had the first key in the bottom to answer calls .. instead of lock screen... that would be really great ...
720 P recording and better audio drivers with optimized and improved bass would be a real addition...
also wish dev somehow enable 16m color...
I am tired of SE .. had been a seriuos SE fan for nealry 5 yrs now
t610-k700-k750-k800-k850-w995 all major phones from them... but those days we had se-nse for custom tunning the drivers and it was fun... but now with this bootloader [email protected] i am missing the real fun..
if SE cant do anything ... they should atleast open up the bootloader to dev`s...

[ROM ADDON][ALPHA2] SE-Legacy

Dear all,
I just had this very idea, wanted to share with you:
1a) Put together SE legacy stuff, that some of us might miss:
- Backup & restore
- Timescape
1b) Bring stuff from new devices, like ARC, for instance:
- Arc launcher
- Any fancy apps you recommend
2) Publish it via xRecovery as an add-on.
We could centralize all efforts here, on this thread. What do you think? Please post the threads, if you have already efforts or results on part of these (I'm just looking into how to crack licensing for the backup ), I will also try to enlist those.
Cheers, arch
PS: this is not an SE blame/hate thread, so please no posts on how much you dislike this or that...
Alpha2 for CM6, download from here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/452882711/se_legacy_alpha2.zip
(alpha1: http://rapidshare.com/files/452780369/se_legacy_alpha1.zip)
Install via xRecovery as a custom zip.
Note: build.prop was edited that manufacturer is 'Sony Ericsson' again.
Features:
- Timescape and backup&restore (thanks to myth999)
status here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982051
Known issues: backup and restore works fine, for timescape font is too small (not much of a use now)
- Arc launcher (thanks to phoneyericsson and manjeet15)
threads here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=979675 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=973153
Known issues: Tray bar is not visible, blocks are too large, drawer window is vertically somewhat small.
Notes: Also tried the one from fifarunnerr for the Wildfire but it is still buggy also with drawer button alignment.
- Sony Ericsson Sync (by me)
Sony Ericsson account can be used from sync accounts. Also sync is provided as an extra app. Theoretically other SyncML accounts could be also used.
Known issues: Font is black with a black background by account settings. By adding a new SE SyncML only first/last name is editable, no phone numbers (maybe a number from the call could be saved, don't know).
Anyway we can restore our old contacts from sbf backups or from Sony, this is cool anyway (saved my butt aswell). With the new contacts app also vcf export is there, so after an export it could be directly fed to Google contacts, cool aswell.
- Voice search
Works flawlessly.
- Track ID
Known issues: Locked, do not work currently.
Biggest thanks goes to Lef.teris for providing the ARC rom.
Works good otherwise, got one FC from timespace during the whole day. I've seen no degradation of original CM rom.
Testers are welcome.
Cheers, arch
I dunno what's done, but maybe this help ?

This is exactly the point! Could you pass a link on the last version?
(I've seen 2 of them: one has the drawer misaligned, and the other's drawer window is vertically somewhat undersized.)

Maybe I'm totally misaligned: too much SE stuff needs to be taken over for some these, don't know. The arc launcher is at least quite standalone.
Just tell me

It's not my work.. ^^ Only searched for Arc launcher xD
Sorry D:
Sorry, what I meant is that the point is to centralize these efforts in one thread if possible, here in DEV and also package them together. That way we don't have to manage N threads and check what is the latest, is there an effort to do this or that.
Cheers, arch
hey arch,
i have managed to crack ''SE backup and restore license'' and it loads now on CM6 mini pro...
but ofcrs its nt fully functional so need to work on it and also sm help
i also got ''timescape'' from xperia arc fully running on any froyo device even non SE devices
however for ldpi devices the text is too small to read so need help there too
u can find the thread under x10 mini themes and apps section titled ''timescape apk edit''
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982051
Alpha1 uploaded. Thanks to myth for his hard work!
Cheers, arch
Alpha2 is up, if anyone is interested...
why dont you attach the files to the post(click on "edit" button then scroll down until you see a brown bar sayng "additional options"... and them select "manage attachments").... it is easyer to download
archflex when i bring an update i will include the right build.prop for this alpha so you wont need that build.prop anymore and that way it will work on cm6 and cm7 this way only on cm6
will mail you when i've done it (;
thanx owain
having a build.prop with manufacturer Sony Ericsson would really help newbies
there is one funny thing here...
some htc desire users reported timescape + ts widget working fine
apart from that even backup and restore was working for them
if some one here could test sms and contacts backup/restore on a non SE phone then it cld be a boon I guess
Thanks a lot guys!
The resolution the Desire is quite close the Arc (54 pixels difference only ), so at least they could read the Timespace UI
I'm really shocked by the Arc APKs, how SE independent they are, good stuff. Open source, freely distributable, wow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11677993&postcount=8
Thanks again, arch
But the real problem is starting now.
The new retail arc firmware has locked apps, or apps that cross verify signatures via shareduserids...
trackid is locked too
Though am working on track id at this very moment and hope to over come the lock lol
SE gonna sue me haha
TRACK ID
first goto build.prop
see this line
ro.product.device = U20i
it should be U20i after "=" and capital U20i is not same as u20i
I could get it to work on my 2.1 stock rom
but it doesnt work on CM6, it doesnt seem to be able to connect to the microphone to record audio.
Maybe owain could help here now
if it says couldnt parse package just change permissions to 777 using root explorer then install

are they really? so it's not a mic problem after all, just there is no notification that 'hey, what the hell are you doing?'
could you send where the locking code is? The good thing is that if one app lock is removed, similarly all other apps could be broken.
there ws a file in system/framework called com.xxx.privateapps**.jar
I thought it wld b inteeresting but when I deodexed its class.dex I ddnt get anythng worth it.
so I guess they lock by
1. build.prop entries and
2. signature cross verify using shared ids.
as for new arc firmware best option is to use old arc dump files and not retail ones
as for track id, its nt microphone prob, prob has smthin to do with these files.
useragentprovider.apk
customizationprovider.apk
credentialmanager.apk
well myth999 and archflex its good to see the xda spirit got you and I am happy to see you really dug into all the infos and became a developer yourself now. I really like it when people start helping and still are eager to get to the next step and contribute to the community

Nice!
Problems:
- seems that graphics driver is in software mode
- headphones not works... plugin not detected, but unplug is ok - music stops and etc, as it should be in normal.
- CM settings? where are they ? no menu item in settings menu. no icon in applications...
- Random hangs of touch-driver... only device restart helps.
Believe most of problems comes from StreakDroid 2.0, but overall thats great! Thanks!
Give the guy a break, at least it's one more person trying to develop for the Streak 5 !
Hey dude, give the guy a break... he did say he has a lot of work ahead of him. What have your released for the Streak lately?
Man,
What happent with the version you were developing couple days ago? The one based on steve's 1.9? I was asking for another mirror, I was pretty happy with ur first version, was looking to download the second one. Did you retired that project for good? I cannot find that thread in here.
Maybe you can point me to download your rom, second version.
Thanks in advance

no mattter how much noobies put their glowing references on this, this is not CM7.
it is a couple of very minor changes to sd 2.0.. adding some apks to system/app.
along the same lines as changing a bit of framework in a kitchen, in fact I'd say it took less effort than that.
Also RootExplorer is a paid app, including warez into Roms is not accepted

Yes this is not CM but I was tryin to get some extra features on already awsome streakdroid like DSP manager importing libs into system from CM got DSPManager working on streakdroid with clearly differentiable soundfx and I was able to check that through by bluetooth stereo headset & phone speaker only because wired stereo headset still not produce any sound(updated libs version I hav not yet uploaded because not many people will find it useful untill sound output issue is fixed) in fact I need some help from experienced developers like you on the sound output issue through regular stereo headset , I am also looking for browser from CM7 & root explorer will be removed from next version ,Thanks if you can help out....

You don't have a clue. Have you even tried the kitchen on the streak? There is zero customization that works with the streak. Once the kitchen is used it has to be dissected, graphics altered, odexs fixed for text color and other tweaks. You don't have a clue.
FARDS said it best.
I can take 5 minutes and take bits and pieces of cm7 apks, some from galaxy s 2 and some htc files and simply drag and drop them into djsteves roms... or I could even do it to a stock rom... does that make it a new rom?
What he accomplished here could easily be done by making a flashable clockworkmod zip.
I would love to see more cooks for the streak but would love to see a real effort.
If modifying frameworks and odex files are so easy to do with the kitchen, why is there only three people including myself that have released it? Jhotman...baldylocks....

[Q] Could someone explain why the camera in sonybread and cm7 doesnt work??

Or how I can get it to work...?????If the camera worked like froyo these roms would eb absolutely great but everyone uses the camera!!
Well, that's just Sony's sudden way of saying "***** you"
But I guess it's because the libraries in 2.1 up to 2.3 has undergone significant changes ==> making it hard to port properly.
Hmm I guess it's well explained by: drivers.
Every Computer itself is hardware. Your mobile phone is also hardware and the ccamera is a specific hardware. that every other component of your mobile can use that specific hardware "camera" - for example that your camera recording app wants to use your camera to record video or take apicture - drivers are needed for the operating system.
The stack of communication levels looks very minimalistic like that:
app (camera.apk)
operating system (android in version 2.1. 2.2 or 2.3 or 1.6)
driver (inside operating system)
hardware (camera)
app says: take picture with camera (meaning open shutter, let the light into the light sensor) - operatingsystem knows what to do and tells driver (open specific shutter, let the light into the sensor xyz) and the driver opens the shutter and lets the light into it... maybe you get it...
The point now is: You have a specific camera that needs a specific driver in your phone. And Sony Ericsson has this perfect driver for that and does not give it out to us. That's why their operating system "stock ROM" works perfectly.
For Froyo the devs found a similar driver or maybe (I don't know really) could make the SE-driver compatible for Android 2.2. I guess was hard work to make Android 2.2 also for hardware keyboard and so on compatible for our mini pro!! And it was also another such hard work to make Android 2.3 compatible for our mini pro. But the Camera driver is still the Problem and thus the Camera can not be used as used in Gingerbread that is Android 2.3. And CM7 is a modified Android 2.3 for Mini, and slades and sonybread are based on cm7 and thus camera still does not work as we all would like it.
You can not use the drivers from froyo (cm6) or Eclair...
Okay?
As I guess the devs are still working hard on getting it worked but it's not that easy. That's also the point why the most people use the CM6 edition (Froyo ones)
Okiddoki?
thanks for your replies ...... Hope they LL fix it soon.....I definitely don't wanna go back to stock
Be grateful that it possible to even take pictures! With the HTC Click/Tattoo we had no cam on 2.1 up for over a year!
Download the applixation picsin from market ... Works great and takes.images in better resolution than vga.... Note* i only found it to.work with sonybread 4

Use 6 but change your sdk to 10 and use a theme from 7
I know that the big X10 has different hardware with this phone, I was just wondering is it possible to port something from x10 when the 2.3 update roll out?

sorry for offtopic, but can you make a port driver for sound and dsp manager with the CM7 at CM6?
picsin did not work on sonybread 4 for me

I really doubt, that anyone is working on this... in fact I think everybody is waiting for a working driver to be released (from other devices or even from sony).
If somebody was working on getting it done we would know about this...

Paul-xxx (dev of sonybread) said that he is working on the camera drivers right now, and afaik none of the devs inform us always about his projects, before he is ready for a release...
Oh, I didn't even know that paul-xxx was capable of modding drivers (no offense).
And from my experience most developers start developement threads when they start big projects (like modding drivers) as they can work together with other devs that way and avoid doing some work twice (teamwork instead of duplicated work). But in my mind there's a slight difference between ("real") devs and ("just") cooks...
Known whether it will take on this project? I'm anxious to get back to having good photos

[ROM] [PORT] [WIP] Unofficial Streak_CM9

Another ICS rom for us to play around
Base of Kibuuka AOSP ICS 4.0.4_r2.1 and port from 20120511-CM-9.0.0.RC0-supersonic-UNOFFICIAL by jmztaylor.
Thanks to :
CM Team
Kibuuka (without him there is no ICS for ds5)
Jmztaylor (for bring CM9 nightly to Evo4G)
nop (powerfull kernel)
themanii (GAPPS and many things)
hPA
Mazda Team Dirt
Froilson
all forum members for sharing and caring
Not work :
Camera
Data (for some user including me)
Wifi Tethering
Theme manager (working fine on my evo but will cause bootloop on ds5)
All the bugs from the base rom
This rom have ugly gradient colour in background because I use libmedia from the port rom, cannot use from base rom.
I will update this rom when I can (and still trying hard) port a newer version. There are a lot changes in CM9 newer version that make the rom cannot boot on our device.
Flash as usually dan do not forget to nandroid backup first !!!
Gapps can found in TheManii thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1764286
Happy flashing
Update 20120726 : Fix the ugly colour on background and add Samsung Touchwiz Launcher
update to cm9 rc2 see below post / second post
Update cm-9-nightly-20120816_jmz
Beside of some great peoples I have thanked in the 1st page, in this update all credits should go to WhizKins and Rizal Lovins for all their hard work.
Special and big thanks to
-WhizKins ( Dell Venue ICS 4.0.4 CM9 rom)
-Rizal Lovins (Sony Xperia V and Z Walkman features)
I took / modded some libs and apk from WhizKins rom to fixed wifi, bluetooth, theme manager, and data for some users (I hope so).
For data, I only tested with operator in my country (Indosat) and it work. Last time no data on that operator.
I hope data work too for all operators.

This version is the easiest to port and compatible with our early kernel. I choose a rom to port base of the same cpu and proc. with ds5, but most cm9 rom for those device not mention any version and no nightly builds (maybe that need a lot work to do because unofficial), so I choose this nightly builds by jmztaylor for supersonic which closely to cm9 official build. The bad news is I still facing problem with newer version, the room can boot but no respons on touch screen (I think we need a patch in our kernel as cm team make changes in their kernel and its impact to media libs, video libs, audio libs, surfaceflinger for better responsive and etc). Pls any advice to solve this problem.
Btw, I hv succeed ported latest and final build evervolv ICS rom for nexus one. I think this latest build closely to cm9 RC2 as all evervolv ICS rom build from CM source. But for us it looks like minor changes cause the big improvement is finally native camcorder can record and play.
Sometimes I think better if we can build from the source but at this moment only kibuuka can do that.
I wish he can get ds5 replacement soon and the development can continue.

oh COME ON there's NO magic at all in building cm9 from source. set your build environment (this guide is quite straight-forward) and tell me when you need to know "what do i do next". Do initial build, test it, get bug list and we'll start to figure solutions for it.
Lemme explain my POV bit more: binary patches are only good when you got no access to source (and even if you don't - there's ALWAYS more than one way to deal with a problem - hunderteins' ussd patch was a magic at the moment - but there was an option noone thought about/tried to - using rild-related stuff from froyo (it works (as it's pretty much framework-independent), yet it's free of ussd bug)).
When source's available - it's ALWAYS a good thing - you control a way it built, you're free to patch it at will adding features/resolving issues/whatever you can imagine to do - instead of desperately seeking for a blob that manages not to fc on your device. One more thing to mention - when you manage to fix thing instead of replacing it - you create/produce, instead of consume/waste

Hahahaha.......thanks man for your help, will try it, just do not get annoyed when I keep bug you all the time
This all make me feel like I should go back to college again as I hv no any basic about Linux and Ubuntu, only know little things about android hacking this past few weeks by reading and searching from Google.
First things is can I install Ubuntu on my 10 inch netbook running windows xp 32 bit, from I read we should at least hv Ubuntu 11 64 bit to compile kernel. How it running on 2 OS as I still need windows office to work. Other things, what should I do to recompile apk and jar file. I can decompile and baksmaling but always hv problem to recompile it again, sometimes it works but mostly failed.
Edit : Damn !!! only 1GB RAM

First - what's most powerful pc you have access to? Plenty of RAM and cpu cores gives you a chance to see finished build within universe's lifetime Kiddin, mostly. My build station specs are: [email protected]/8Gb/2x1TB. On this specs sucessfull build done with -j4 takes ~2h15m to complete (integrated build - kernel+system). Netbook (Atom cpu?) with 1Gb seem to be inappropriate device to compile ics on.
Second - you don't have to decompile/recompile separate apks and/or jars. You're downloading source, compiling it and getting ROM as a result.

Damn 8 GB RAM, you hv a beast on your side
Yes mine only Acer Aspireone intel atom, with this you're not going any where.......hahahahahaha.
If I hv to replace this old one and get the new powerfull device that will need a lot of money....not worth it as I'm not intend to be a great dev, I better buy HTC One X or SGS3 and leave all this ICS headache.......
I think it should be you, build from CM source and bring fully working CM9 to our device.
Learning and porting ICS rom for past few weeks makes me hv no time for my 2 kids, should hv family issue if I keep doing this............hahahahahaha
Btw, can you help me, browser and gmail look like normal if not touch the screen, but when I scroll down the screen its force close.
I hv fix the ugly gradient colour on background and that fixed youtube. Pls any advice.

I don't know if it's just me, but this seems a little less laggy than the other ICS ROMs out there. If it wasn't for the non-working data, I'd probably use this even though the battery life hasn't improved.
I seem to have problems with Bluetooth, Wifi, and (critically) booting @160dpi.
Absolutely love the rest though
keep up the good work!
