I was a HTC G3 user for quite a long time until it's stolen ... really missed that vertically slide lockscreen .
Is there anything similar so I can apply it on DEFY?

Widgetlocker (on the market) has an option called "sense UI" for the lock/unlock bar.
Sent from my MB525
Just tried. Feeling kinda weird since in this one you can only drag the slider while in the original SENSE UI you can drag anywhere. Thanks anyway.
Any better solution?

GOTO Lockscreen v1.4.9.2 has something similar. Try it.
You could also try LockBot Pro
Widgelocker is the best out there at this moment.
+1 for Widgetlocker
Or you could just remove the lock screen completely ..
lockbot is very good

lockbot is nice you can choose many different styles "thumbs up".
I am very excited about CM7 for the Bolt, but I know that I am going to miss the full-screen weather animations. I'm running CM7 on my Nook Color and absolutely love it, but these animations are the one thing I still really like on my Bolt from Sense, and that I prefer about my Bolt interface versus NC.
WidgetLocker has an option for enabling full-screen Sense weather animations even when you're using a replacement launcher, but this option seemed to go away (I couldn't find it anyway) when I ran the de-sense script written for Das BAMF. Is there any way to add whatever WidgetLocker looks for to a ROM so that this option is enabled? For instance, by pulling out parts from a Sense ROM and flashing them? Thanks!
Try beautiful widgets. Load the clock/ weather widget on a homescreen and turn on the weather animation on in advance settings. They have their own unlock weather animations its not exactly like sense but somewhat similar. Its an experimental feature too. You can place the widget in a launcher app and use another. The animations will still kick in.

Yep. Beautiful Widgets is the app you need.

Ok so we all know you cant actually get HTC sense ported to the atrix but I came up with a combo of apps that work as a perfect mirror of it.
Launcher: He launcher- use this to add the Sense style lancher bar. Lots of options for sense style
Wallpapers: Pyramid wallpapers- Includes all your favorite HTC wallpaers
Clock: Fancy widgets pro- Tons of sense style clocks, H7C is closest to stock
Sense Animations: Fancy widgets Pro-Enable it by clicking on the weather icon on the clock>menu>configure>Advanced>Enable forcast animation and enable unlock animation.
All apps are property of their owners I take no credit for design or funtion... just the pack of them together
Wow I was just checking here to see if I could find this. Taking this inspire back to exchange for the atrix

good to hear!
Nice work! So how long til the Sense port is complete? An ETA would sure be nice!
I have a confession guys... I traded my atrix for an htc desire hd plus 100 dollars yesterday. I have only had the desire hd for 1 day and I'm already trading back to the atrix. for those tempted there is no going back to a normal phine after using the atrix.

Haha I know I went back to my heavily customized nexus one (temporary brick) and honestly I was a big fan and didn't like to think it wasn't as fast as newer devices but I notice it in apps I notice it in swype... I know I said this with my n1 but this phone with more mature software will last me for a long time.

Sense animations works! thanks!
All of my Fancy Widget clocks are small on the screen. How do you make them large?

Having the same problem. Even after enabling the H7C theme. No animations either

You have to select Fancy Home.
Hm... I selected fancy home, but it still gives me the ugly clock without the skin. (I've tried applying it several times)

I noted a bug in the fancy widgets FAQ that states you have to click the screen once after unlocking to stop the animation before the screen will respond to other clicks.

Has anyone else noticed that some of the apps in the is missing in the home drawer. I have at least 2, Angry Birds Rio and Samurai 2, which are installed but not shown.
There has been a little piece of wondering if I would have been better off getting a HTC instead of the Atrix... But now with big thanks to this thread, I have everything wanted in my 1st Android phone... And a hole lot more.
Now if I can find the weather widget or live wallpaper that has the windsheild wipers when it's raining, I'll be the happiest newbie on XDA.
sent from rooted MB860, now with sense.

What about the status bar? huh?
the stock touchwiz lock screen worked for a while. but after i set the dpi to 180 (i can't stand how huge everything looked) the lock screen doesn't really work anymore, it takes multiple swipes to unlock and looks like garbage. i would really like to have the stock lock screen, i have tried lockbot and others on the market but non of them really feel good to me.
anybody know where i can get the stock lock screen in an apk?
I'm pretty sure its not possible to get the aosp lockscreen on touchwiz with just an apk, a better option would be to use something like widget locker which you can set up to look exactly like the aosp lockscreen

meh, thats what i was afraid of.
thanks for the fast reply.
Using EE Neutrino ROM right now.
Can you make the wallpaper for the lockscreen to be different from the wallpaper from the homescreen?
How can you change the unlock style? I have this ball I have to drag to the other side right now to unlock the screen. Is there a sliding bar? Or maybe a drag up the entire lockscreen picture type unlocker like Windows Phone 7 does?
All within CyanogenMod settings. Not sure about the lockscreen wallpaper. But you can definitely have the sliding bar. No WM7 lockscreen though, unless you get WidgetLocker.

Exactly what I wanted! Thank you! I didn't know CM7 had lockscreen settings. I guess I always missed it. >_<
