[MOD] Transparent statusbar for Arc - Xperia Arc Themes and Apps

Hello!
I made a little modification to the systemui.apk file so the statusbar become transparent, I didn't make it 100% transparent just to keep the icons readable whatever is the wallpaper!

Using ZIP file with Metamorph from the market:
-Delete the original systemui.apk first
-Flash the GlassArc.zip file with metamorph
I don't know if the metamorph file is working well (ZIP file)
Using Rootexplorer or Astro Files:
-Put the systemui.apk file in a folder in your SD card.
-Open RootExplorer backup then delete the original systemui.apk in system/framework and copy the new file from the SD into System/framework folder.
-Reboot
For people who can't get the transparent statusbar try ADW Launcher and disable wallpaper hack

Looks quite harmonic with default SE launcher.
Installed via Root explorer:
1. copy new systemUI.apk to /system
2. set permissions
3. move it to system/app (not to system/framework - it's a mistake)
Also, I've noticed that when you open (i.e. slide down) notifications, the bar itself still remains transparent while background is gray. Is it possible to fix it?

standart permissions for system files:
read write execute
User + + -
Group + - -
Other + - -

The metamorph version is working?
Oh and ALWAYS REBOOT after changing files

If it doesn't work then just open ADB folder(you have to put the apk file in that folder) and open a cmd window, then type:
-adb devices
-adb remount
-adb push systemui.apk system/framework
-adb reboot

I grabbed the apk and than, I overwrote the original in system/apps and set permissions? If so, I rebooted after doing this and my bar is still black. I probably am doing something stupid again

hmm, I am a big fan of lpp, so this only work with adw, that sounds strange to me...

LPP has no compatibility with transparent statusbar, it's not only with my mods but all others too.
It looks the stock launcher and ADW can.

The weather widget is a superclock one made with Beautiful Widget

Thanks I am using Aix Weather (Free from Market), Wave Launcher & Extended Controls

Yes, You need atleat root to mod/edit system files

Yes you can't delete or replace any system file without root
