is there a way to upload all of the photos from my phone at once to the dropbox cloud? I have about 200 i want to upload, but don't want to do them all individually?
Connect your phone to PC and upload from there?
Ah nice thought. Why didn't i think of that

Have you thought about using dropbox? A lot of people use it on here to share .apk's and other files. You and your wife could share a dropbox account and use the dropbox app to share videos and other files. They have apps for Android, Iphone and Blackberry.
here's a signup link. http://db.tt/SCTNjfz I think free accounts get 2 gigs of storage, if you happen to have a university (.edu) email account, you get more free space.

Hello everyone. I wanted to know if anyone knows of any apps or PC desktop programs that will allow me to automatically back up my photos (and other folders if possible) to my desktop. Im really looking for something that will only back up new photos and not all photos. It would be nice if the app or program could do it wireless, but Im willing to connect my USB cable to my PC once a week or so just to back up photos.
If anyone has a recommendation that would be great.
Thanks.
The perfect solution that i use is an app called dropsync... Works perfectly and syncs the folders i selected with Dropbox which is synced with my pc.

Great. Thanks for the info. I'll check it out.

You could get a Google+ acct and use the instant upload. It auto uploads new photos on the fly.

I have been searching for way to make an apk file. I am currently using titanium back up to retrieve my apps. But I want the ability to send an actually apk to another individual. I tried changing the the extension through my file explorer but that didn't work. Any suggestions or answers? I hope this isn't a noob question. Thanks.

You can use https://market.android.com/details?...sMSwyLDEsImNvbS5idW1wdGVjaC5idW1wZ2EiXQ..bump
However, the recipient has to have bump installed too to receive apps.

Bump will just send the market link. I think what u want is to send paid apps to friends which I'm not sure is possible
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Well not necessarily paid apps. For example. My friend has the Motorola Droid razor (not rooted) but wishes he still had his car home app. I currently have this app installed (ICS by neobuddy) and I want to package the app into an apk so I can send it to him.

Just upload it to a Dropbox account and he can get on via his phone or PC and download it. Or pull a copy of your APK out of either /system/app or /data/app and put it on your SD card. Plug your card into his computer or phone and pull it off, install and Bam!! there it is.
I have tried sending APKs through gmail and it won't do it b/c gmail won't allow executables to be sent (whole virus protection thing and all-so i guess it is a good thing).
Worst case scenario, you upload it here, he logs on and pulls it off but beware of uploading paid apps as you will be banned. Your call.
I send apk files through gmail quite often. I use astro to make a backup, then send it through astro using the gmail app.
Thank you for the help. Really appreciate it.

Hi
Is there a way to get drop box photos to show up on the stock gallery app? I have my Google+ ones showing up but no amount of messing with settings gets the drop box ones to show up, BTW I have noticed that my drop box sync is off in the phone settings but I can't get it on. Any help appreciated.

You can turn on the sync in Dropbox settings..Turn on Camera upload. It will then upload any photos you take to Dropbox

I'm not sure where the camera looks for pictures exactly, but I think it shows pictures from any folder on my phone.
Maybe there is a .nomedia file in your DropBox folder?

No there is no way to show the photos from dropbox in stock gallery.
Only from Google+ and Picasso.

I have instant upload switched on and 100's of photos on drop box.
Could someone do me a favour and check if they can actually see there dropbox uploaded photos in the gallery and also check the S3's settings/ accounts/ dropbox and see if sync is enabled? Thanks.
This is a galaxy note 2 feature that you only can hope it will be brought to the s3 in the next update! Much like multi window and wave-your-hand-on-the-screen-to-view-clock-and-other-notifications.
No promise anything will be ported though so don't get your hopes up...

So I love this phone but just hooked up my dropbox to it. And I noticed whenever I take a Zoe, it uploads like 20 pictures to my DropBox account! Anyone know a way around this? I'm assuming it's a problem with the way Zoes are stored on the One
Yup. Turn off auto-sync of your photos from dropbox or the auto upload in the camera settings should do it.
Kind of sucks though... Won't be able to back up my pictures now

Wow. That is an issue. Just had to delete a ton of photos from dropbox because of that. Probably never would've noticed if I hadn't seen thus post.
