Is there an app that can make an adjustable transparent taskbar? I saw some specifically for liberty roms for the droidx...but nothing for the Eris. Also saw some installers specifically for 2.0 and 2.1 so I ignored those.
I'm running ginger tazz cm7..thanks.
i havent seen anything to adjust the transparency
all i know is you can install cm7 themes that have transparnt pull down bars
If we could get someone to port these apks to the Eris it would be perfect!

Just wondering if anyone had the time/desire to whip out a quick aosp froyo theme? (Notifications bar, lockscreen, icons)? Running eugenes gingerclone right now. No desire to run his aospish rom again. Love this rom and its speed. And now that I think about it, I remember engadget ran a story about honeycomb and showed a very mobile-phonish honeycomb lockscreen and status bar/homescreen layout. Will link when I have time. Just thought it would be cool to have a honeycomb theme amongst the littany of gingerbread out there
Here's the Link: Looks very froyoish-- it's the subtleties I'm interested in. Such as the clock font. That's pretty sweet. Also, I read a post that says that the default launcher in the Honeycomb sdk crashes... is it portable?
If not, may I simply request the aforementioned AOSP froyo pulldown bar haha? Sorry this thread is so all over the place. It's been that kind of day.
Here's a link to the article with a pic of the cool lockscreen:

Thanks guys,
James
How come all design of the background for the notification disappeared between froyo and gingerbread?

You can still use Theme Chooser (built into CM7 ROMs) or Metamorph for that kind of thing, I think.
right off the bat I chose Cyanbread from theme chooser. It would be cool if the notification bar had the carbon fiber look to follow suit.
I guess it just depends on how much the theme is designed to change. I think there are some themes in the Eris Theme section which change the notifications look.
Hi, Can anyone make a 1% Gingerbread styled battery mod?
do you mean a black status bar with green icons or a gingerbread blur one because both exist
Gingerblur one I believe

Been looking around for a little bit... I can't seem to find a MOD for non-deodexed systems that turns the status bar black and the icons green. Does that exist for a "stock" 4.5.91 setup?
DK
Hey everyone!
I've looked around on the web but I can't seem to be able to find a solid guide on how to mod the notification bar to be a different color or semi transparent.
I know some miui themes exist, but i want to do it manually so i or anyone else stumbling on this thread can apply it to their current rom and theme they have going.
I guess while we're at it, if anyone also knows how to change individual icons on the status bar that would be awesome too.
To my knowledge uot kitchen does not work with transparent/different colored notification bars.
Hopefully someone can shed some light!
(not sure if this is supposed to be here or q/a)

From what i hear its almost impossible unless u are on miui.....ill tell u a few ways to work around it though....u can use multipicture live wallpaper, or if you have adw launcher ex you can turn on high res in settings

I FINALLY got it to work on my phone after months of searching. What ROM are you on?
I am a big fan of different notification bar icons as opposed to the stock icons. Currently I'm running BAMF Rezound Cubed Themed 1.0.1 and I love the notification bar icons on this ROM, but I'm switching back to Ineffabilis because I like the tweaks on it and it runs smooth (sorry DSB, I'm rocking your latest kernel though!).
I've tried in the past to make my own "theme" in UOT Kitchen but the icons always get messed up, especially the signal icons. I'm not too experienced with tearing apart APK's and resigning them however.
Is there anyone out there that can make flashable icons to use on any ROM? Ineffabilis with Cubed 1.0.1 Themed icons would be fantastic!
