My mate just lent me his dock for the streak, but I cant get hdmi out happening.
I flashed 351, factory reset, n whatnot.
When I plug it into the dock, it def recognizes it, because it asks me if it should switch from the device audio to the dock audio and loads the clock application.
But thats it. When I load the dell audio app and click the "hdmi" button, its erroring on me with "no hdmi found"
the same cable does work with any other device I plug it into tho.
since this is a dell rom, I am sure the HDMI should be working, I am just missing a step somewhere. What is this magical step?
cheers

really? no one with a 351 rom having a dock that can confirm test this?
I've flashed to 351 recently, but haven't tried HDMI output since then. I'll try this at home tonight and post back to let you know how it goes.
Just tried this with the dock connected to my TV and could see the videos and the slideshow all fine on the TV with the stock Gallery app.
thanks for the control test mate, ill ID the problem with my setup now.
much appreciated

Is anybody using it? I'm having trouble getting audio output to work.
I haven't tried it yet but do you have it hooked up in your car when your trying it?
Yes, I got everything connected. When I put the phone on the dock, the icon for car mode shows up. I thought that this feature was going to start working it 2.2, am I wrong?
I just got mine in the mail tonight and tried it out on a quick trip to the store. The Audio Out doesn't work with Nero v3. I played Avatar and sound only came out through the back speaker (ringer). I wonder if the 'stock_jk6v2.zip' TW put out earlier will work. I might reflash to give it a try. If I can get it working, I'll forget all about the built-in iPod connected I gave up when I traded in my old car .
So i got it to work but the screen doesnt work but does show up on screen. i got the stuff from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1199443 but some people have had the same problem but havent really answered it. should i try going through the process again?
so i tryed to redue it all and it goes through perfectly but when i plug into hdmi the webtop option doesnt show up any more

i feel stupid as well, ls hdmi is also in wet dream and i have no idea how to use it, any help here guys?
There's no switch for turning it on and off.
Literally plug it in to your TV via HDMI, switch to that input on the TV and it should display your phone. Mine sometimes goes odd if I start mirroring in Landscape, but turning it to portrait and back again fixes this.
If you want sound over HDMI there are two little scripts in the same place as the supercharger script one for toggling sound over HDMI and one for toggling sound from your phone. They need to be run as root using script manager.
Just a quick note (on Wet Dream, anyway): even after plugging in the HDMI cable, nothing activates on my phone until the TV input is switched over. That's when the Picker launches.
At my side on Neutrino,
I have play with the sound output switch and now it works... Can't explain.
Now I'd like to know how to incerase the HDMI output resolution, it's so pixelized...
Any idea ?
Works great on Neutrino Rom 2.2 with faux kernel.
The only issue is that the sound have to set manually on and off.
And some games (Reckless Racing 2) doesn't run on the Atrix with high fps and that is a little bit disappointing because I can't enjoy games in slow motion.
But everything else works fine!
Motorola Atrix 4G AT&T unlocked
ya the output for me is a little to large as well and a little grainy. i wish there was the overscan fix, but i was told in the neutrino forum that hdmi mirror (ls or not) is not native to cm7 so it's a work in progress
Good news:
Link.
I have been running AOKP for some time now, and everything has been working great, except for the occasional freezes. I have now installed the latest nightly CM9 build, but I don't get any sound through my multimedia dock. It plays through the built in speakers. Anyone have the same issue, or maybe a solution?
I have the same problem. The sound comes out from the built-in speaker.
same issue... was running SGT7 AOKP P1 build 40. Now running CM9 nightly build 20120713... sound only comes out of built in speakers no matter what i do.
I've tried enabling HDMI dock (which both OS's seem to recognize physically docked/undocked).
Tried enabling USB Audio setting (with both OS's seem to IGNORE physically docked/undocked).
I came from Overcome where everything worked perfectly. The frustration is that I'm using a MM dock. Sound neither comes through the HDMI interface, nor the 3.5mm. This setup is mounted in my dash so now I have to make the decision of ICS/no sound in my car or Gingerbread...

I have this issue on the 7in tab still despite running CM9 official. Any one know if there is any more progress, as the above suggestions don't work for me? The tab doesn't recognise the dock being plugged in even though it recognises USB to the computer etc.
Here's hoping...

Both my wife and I have a Razr Maxx. I was part of the soak and got ICS she does not have it yet. Both are not rooted. Went to test out the new webtop software yesterday and all I got was a black screen. Tried her phone with old webtop version using same TV, dock and hdmi cable and worked perfectly. Anyone else have this issue. I have the HDMI box checked.
I using ICS Webtop on Atrix Lapdock, working OK. You can run Webtop even with HDMI cable connected to RAZR.
If you connect RAZR to your TV with HDMI cable do you have popup with options? Webtop should be on the list.
Webtop is working great for me too
The menu shows up when I place in the dock. The HDMI mirror only works for a split second and then goes black as well. Strange.
restore factory default settings and try again
im using a modded bionic doc and it works just fine for me. try turning the screen on and unlocking first and then connect it to whatever you want to connect it to.
