Recovery mode for broken screen AND maybe beokwn home button

Hi,
I'm trying to take control of my galaxy s3 which has a broken screen. I saw a windows tool for it, but I need ADB enabled, which was not enabled on this one. So I'm trying to go in recovery mode and follow some instructions I've seen to enable adb. Sadly, it looks like my home button is also broken (I can't go in recovery mode, or the problem maybe that adb.exe does not list it at all). So few questions :
1) When a pure new stock galaxy s3, when the first screen appears after booting up, does the home button triggers some vibrations? (If no, I'll be sure it's broken)
2) Is there any way to directly flash my S3 with a custom firmware that have adb enabled by default in its properties, without going through recovery mode?
Thanks in advance!

Yes. Theoretically You can flash a custom firmware with odin or heimdall in download mode. Make sure your new rom has enabled adb and debugging and then you can use "adb reboot recovery" and add or remove packages.
BUT, unless you can cook you own room with that enabled, i dont think you will find a room adb and debug enabled by default.
Alternative:
Flash the param zone. After it flashes it will boot into recovery mode. Or try flashing CSC file (just the cache is enough) which does the same.
Edit:
I assumed u know how to go into download (fastboot) mode even though u cant boot into recovery mode. For fastboot is easier, u can google for many tricks. From there u use odin to use Alternative above.

Help on developer mode access

Hello,
I need to flash a twrp or any recovery through Odin. However my phone does not have his developer mode on. I am also unable to log into the phone now. My previous rom is faulty and I turned the developer mode off.
How else can I flash it without a developer mode?
Please help.
Regards,
Ian
Put the phone in download mode and try that way or use samsung switch on a computer to return to stock

CAT S62 Pro. Stuck Fastboot, Can I clone from another phone?

Hi all!
Ive got two CAT S62 Pro.
I understand there isnt a lot of help out there for these models.
One is a repaired phone, the other is brand new which will not boot past FastBoot.
I have tried MultiTools and a few other tools and the phone just reboots back to Fast boot.
Seeing as I have a good working S62, is it possible to transfer the ROM etc? This new phone has never booted furthur and selecting off/start/bootloader/recovery mode, it always restarts to fast boot.
Any help massively appreciated!
In what mode an Android device boots has NOTHING to do with installed ROM. It's a flag set within device's bootloader's settings what this controls.
Try if you can get into edl mode.

Flashing programs tend to know how to change modes.
Might work. Have to know a lot though I don't.
Both those linked ones has a command reset which sounded promising...

Can get in to fastboot mode or Qualcomm Crashdump only

Hoping for help here. In trying to root this phone, having successfully unlocked bootloader, I am trying to flash back to stock firmware (as rooting went less than well!)
Couldn;t get the MSM download tool to work, so thought I would try the fastboot zip file extraction method!
The only Oxygen OS I can find that has the flash all .bat file is
10.5.5-GLOBAL-NordOxygen_14_OTA_007_all_2008180221_c45e1d5febd1f-FASTBOOT
Which results in looking like its working within cmd with all fastboot instruction seemingly writing to phone. But upon reboot, it just goes back to the qualcomm crashdump screen....!!
Grateful for any help inc getting the MSM download tool working.
Many thanks all

It this from Oneplus Nord ? That cannot work on N10 of course.
Qualcomm EDL mode should always work and is your best way to recover the phone.

yes it is a black screen! You know that is in EDL mode when you look into the "Device Manager" in Windows. Further explanation on how to use the tool is in the respective thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4204445/.

Nowhere does it say EDL mode is simply a blank (as if phone off!) screen btw.....
I always press start on msm tool first then either adb reboot edl or make sure phone is off then hold volume buttons

Soyes XS12 - cannot get into bootloader

Soyes XS12 mini phone with Android 9
1. Turned off phone.
2. Pressed either of the volume buttons in comination with power button
3. poked pin into the hole beneath the power button and tried all possible button combinations
Phone always shows "Welcome" and boots normally
How do I get into bootloader mode?
The reason is: I want to use the fastboot command from the PC to turn on "Boot on USB loading", so my alarm clock works properly!

Assumed your device's bootloader is unlocked and you have ADB / Fastbooot correctly installed on PC, you within Windows CMD run the commands - one after one -
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
.

I am not even at that step yet. According to all instructions, I have to get the phone into the recovery/bootloader menu first. As described here:

But that doesn't work on Soyes XS12
Weird.
BTW: Recovery mode and Bootloader mode are totally different modes.

I am talking about the DOS style menu that says "Android system recovery" and has 4-5 menu items. You have to be in this menu to flash a new system or send adb commands to the phone.

It reboots my phone and lands at a green Android spaceship with the error message "No command" below it. I have to hard reset it using Volume up + Power to get back to normal booting. So it seems the Soyes XS12 does not have a recovery mode. Any idea how I can send adb commands to the phone then?
