I'm not sure why but I can't back up Facebook, dolphin browser HD, and Rom manager using titanium backup. This started a few days after I flashed royal glacier 1.3 Rom. Anyone else having this issue? Any solutions?

I did. I was just trying to figure out if there is a specific reason why those apps aren't backing up. It is only few apps now but it might pile up to be more later on.

Is the anyway to theme the android market separately? I'm using the Myxer theme but the Market isn't themed. I found a thread about themeing the market but I think its not for mytouch 4g. Anybody help?

uninstallthe market updates in applications then it should be there
uninstalling the updates is what fixed it for me too. i had the same problem with mixer, but once i did that all was fine
Well, I'm using CM7 final with market 2.3.4. I tried uninstalling the updates but it completely uninstalled market. So then I tried to flash it after it was gone and it reset my Google apps. I tried to restore to my previous backup but somehow that got messes up too! I have no clue what I'm doing wrong but I think I will pass. I don't want to have to fix all that again.

Finally got it. Reinstalled gapps zip and then uninstalled the updates. That did it.

New android market apk. I'm currently using CM 7.1 RC1. I've downloaded it, and it is working like a charm! Enjoy
Ps- Google has stated publicly that if you rent a movie from Google movies it will not work on Rooted Devices. As far as I know there is no work around as of yet. Other then that, we in the rooted community should have no problems with the rest of the new market.

Working on rcmix 3d v1.9
I downloaded it using maxthon browser (free in market) and once it completed downloading, I double tapped it while viewing the file in the browsers' download manager. It prompted me for permission to install, so I did, after I did a back up of course, and bam, my market shortcut on the desktop and in the app drawer both opened the new market with out a hitch. So long story short, do a back up, and install how you would any third party downloaded APK.

Where are these movies downloaded from in the market? And how long do we "rent" them for if anyone knows. O_O
I flashed viper rom this morning and I noticed I have two gallery icons now. Is this normal? One is the htc gallery and the other is from something called cooliris.media.
Any ideas?

Yes the htc one is the stock one and the other is something from cooliris. In that one when I go to 3d pictures they come out as two separate pics side by side. I can't find a way to delete it

Yeah that's the stock gallery from android 2.1 up to gingerbread made by coloris, you should be able to deleted with titanium backup(free version would work)

I was having similar issues with FB on the Dark Unicorn Rom. Just make sure you do FIX Permission both with rom manager and the recovery. It worked for me.
I use gosms and for some reason the stock app notify me more times then the gosms.... I was going to try and delete it but I don't know how embedded it is in the system and I don't want to break something.

Don't delete it you'll ruin you're sms capabilities just shut off its notification

I would used Titanium Backup to freeze it and test whatever sms client you are using instead. I use Google Voice for everything and have had my messaging frozen (disabled) and everything works.

I use Handcent and have uninstalled (with TiBU) the stock messaging account on just about every ROM I've flashed on all 3 of my EVO's (4G, View, and LTE) with never an issue.
