Ok so I'm running 1.6 and I want to flash to the unlocked stock 2.2 rom (currently on a locked phone but I want app sideloading) so I have two questions
1. Where could I get the latest stock rom for the Unlocked Dell Streak
2. (Excuse my noobness) How would I go about flashing said rom, and has anyone actually achieved this as well?

Read the Wiki for the Streak
The Wiki shows that the most current unlocked and stock ROM is 351. Search in the general forum for the guides to upgrading your Streak...
Good luck.
Thanks, I'm hoping that someone whose done this before can stumble across this thread and help, but in the meantime I'll search on here for some basic flashing instructions and read up on em.
Well I used the the EMList method and it all works great

Ok guys i just got STREAKDROID 1.9.0 rom to boot up and now it seems that i cant recieve a signal.......im coming from stock AT&T 2.2 Dell Streak 5.....(carrier unlocked).....
Anyone??? I really need to get this fixed......ive searched my butt off and I still haven't found an answer

About all you can try to do is flash Streakdroid again... if that doesn't help then return to stock
Have you tried multibasebandflasher(mbf) yet?If not, make sure you check it out in the dev session.

Although I commend the developer of the multi flasher for his work I came to the conclusion that the mismatchings caused by implementing it caused more troubles than anything. Take TheManii's advice and flash stock recovery, flash stock update.pkg, flash Streakmod and finally flash StreakDroid and you should be trouble free

Problems with a specific rom should be posted in the thread for that ROM.
I suggest that you flash the stock recovery for BB 351. Install 351 using the update.pkg method. Flash StreakMod Recovery and then flash the zip for StreakDroid 1.9.1. this should clear up any issues that you are having but will require you to set up your phone from scratch.

I'm planning to trade-in my p500, but i don't think mobile operator will buy it if it is rooted and has custom rom on it. so is there a way i can revert it all back to stock froyo unrooted? I'm currently on andy's phoenix gb rom with cwm recovery.

You must use KDZ.
could someone point me to the right direction please? I've looked but didn't find anything for reverting. thank you!

I had the same problem.
In order to get back to stock i used kudoz and installed a 10e european version and after that I used lg update tool and flashed the latest official gingerbread release for my country.
And surprise...it worked flawlessly, I was back on stock before you know it!
can you give me full instructions?
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
Just follow the instructions in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060121.
after you are done with that connect the phone to pc and fire up lg mobile update tool and update.
that's it!
How do I install Olleh from streakdroid 2.4.4

Dell Streak 5 Flashing Guide
Since you have Gingerstreak, you can install the deodexed version of 407, which doesn't require a stock recovery to be flashed beforehand.
Am I the only one who uses the search function on these forums or is it working only for me?
Yo guys, I'm a new user of x10i...I have on my x10i 2.33 software so I'm wondering If I'm able to flash, root and etc.. with the guides what are posted on this forums as a guide or they are out-dated( not for this software) or it doesn't matter.
I'm not sure if this is considering as a spam, but I want to make sure so I don't screw up my x10, I just bought it few days ago.
thanks
and just wondering, what hacks( root, flash etc...) do you guys suggest me to do on x10i so I could enjoy it max..
Just root it first using flashtool(look at stickies at top of page for guide and download links).
Sent from my x10i using xda premium
yeah, I got that part ;P but still, my question is still not answered
Which question would that be;
Can you root
Is guides outdated
Is message spam
Will you screw up you phone
Which Rom
Yes if you read guides and get flashtool
No;but a lot of download links are dead
No;but there is a search function for a reason
Probably;but it's easily sorted-although certain people can't seem to manage
Try Feravolts rom

SEARCH, SEARCH, SEARCH, READ, READ, READ, posts have dates on them. Questions about roms should be made in the roms Q&A thread. People will help you but you have to help your self.
X10S rom is current with active DEVs.

You can flash new kernels over dooms. For back to stock there are stock kernels with xrecovery installed. If you want to start over with full stock (relock, unroot, stock rom & kernel) then use flashtool and flash stock ftf file

I have a unlocked galaxy note i717 gingerbread 207. Orginally it was locked to telus but now im using it on the rogers network. So how would I get ICS? Do I have to wait for the telus release or rogers? I also heard it better to use a custom ics rom. So when I unroot my phone what is the best ics rom out there at the moment?
Why are you unrooting? As to which rom is best is in the eye of the beholder

U got it backwards. I think u just got ur words mixed up. Rooting gives you super user contral and flashing cwm allows u to flash custom roms. Read the general stickies for more information.

This helped me a TON.
I've already rooted my phone. But now I'm stuck in the next step : Install "Clockworkmod recovery" because it doesn't works with Gingerbread.207 version. I didn't find an answer to this problem and it seems that installing "Clockworkmod recovery" is an important step before installing a new ROM. I just want to inform you about it.
It's never easy for canadian version of mobile phones to use the same rooting and flashing tools than worldwide phones. We really have less choice for custom ROM and the few really good ROM are made for US users. Well, if I find something, I'll let you know.
