Hello my friends. I just instled my first rom on my Hero. And now I have a big proble. My youtube stopped workind. It says: Sorry, this video cannot be played. There was a problem while playing. Id like to mention that before I flashed this rom everything was fine. Pls help me how to resolve this issue. Thanks
Nobody helps me?
That's nothing to do with the rom, it's to do with the fact that youtube user's may stop their video from being allowed to be played via mobile, ie. same thing that happens basically when vevo blocks a video in your country.
I don`t think so JieeHD. I changed the rom and now is working perfectly. :| But I really liked that Villain rom.

Running latest CM7 and have tried about all the netflix apk out there.
None worked so I gave up.
Closest I came was audio working, black screen (no video)
Today I was browsing the internet and the same problem occured when trying to play an embeded youtube video. (audio but no video)
So now Im assuming its a problem with flash?
If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks

Netflix doesn't use flash on android, they stream stuff natively using stagefright and the OMX media framework. Though those 2 problems could be related, it's not due to flash. It's probably a problem with the system media libraries, but plenty have gotten media to work just fine on cm7.
So how do I go about making it work?
No idea, I would read through the CM7 development thread for related issues to yours. I don't use CM7 right now since it's too unstable so I can't debug and tell you directly. I just know what it isn't from my own messing with netflix and debugging it from trying to port the needed libraries to froyo. Some else might be able to chime in and give you a solution
Are you running the latest version of CM7?
yes running latest version
I got CM7 and NetFlix works perfect for me.......
CM7 06152011
Kernel - 2.6.35.13 Nerozehl Dream 2.0.3 Beta_AOSP+
Baseband 1.16.00.0223r
Netflix - Ver 1.2.1 build 843839-1.2.0-30
Hope that helps!

Hi guys,
I can't figure out what's happening with my Mozart.
Everytime I try to stream Youtube over my wifi, the video stutters. No matter what resolution. It happens with all tube apps but RealTube. I really don't know why.
Please, any help here?
No answers? Maybe if I reflash the phone it would work properly. I have never done this in a WP7.
Anyone?
Hello guys! I'm not very sure about my post being posted in the right section.. but here goes.. I've recently updated my HTC HD2 to Android 4.0.4 using clockworkmod. I've installed the IceCreamTosti mod from a thread on xda. It's working fine, no problems what so ever. But today I noticed something rather odd. When i try to play a movie (.mpeg4 format), it just plays audio, no video is shown. It's constantly showing 1 image (like 1 FPS). That image changes every couple 10 seconds.. but the audio seems to be working fine. I've downloaded the free version of MX player (with all codecs included) and its still not working.. No matter wich program I use, there is no video.. Youtube works fine although...
Any suggestions?
David

Hey guys im pretty new to this, i have been running my xperia U (rooted) on the old gingerbread for sometime now, finally bit the bullet and unrooted it and upgraded to ICS 4.0.4 via SCC. I quite like ICS its smoother and the phone runs faster (although battery life now suffers) the only issue i am having is I cant play videos on my phone; this includes camera video in the gallery and embedded videos on the browser. I have factory reset about 100 times still hasnt worked and have tried installing adobe air, flash etc still nothing. When i click on a video in the gallery for example i try touching the play button but nothing happens, the thumbnail and video still image is fine just there is no response from touching the play button.
Am i missing something? or am i being a complete tool, iv looked all over the forums for help on this but everyone else seems to be getting some kind of error message, mines just doesnt respond to the touch....
Help please! appreciates
thanks

Thanks for the replies guys but i would prefer to use the devices own video player as i like my menu to be as clutter free as possible with out any uneccesary apps. Update - I reinstalled firmware using SCC last night and video works perfect! untill i start removing the bloatware (like gmail, talk, movies, play now etc) using titanium backup and then the video goes to the same problem again... any suggestions?
could i try reflashing kernel? any one had this issue before?

hey mate thanks for the reply, everyone has recommended this but i dont like having apps on my phone that i really dont need i should be able to use the stock player, but its unresponsive. this goes for embedded vids too!
ALSO
i tried re installing firmware, got it working again but then as i was using Titanium back up to remove the bloatware it stopped working (also made sure i didnt accidently remove important files or programmes that the video player is dependant on...) im stumped! not a disaster but i like to watch the office before i go to sleep at night hahahahah
UPDATE- Found the problem i deleted the "movies" app in titanium which stops the videos from playing in the gallery, what sort of stupid **** is that!
