What is the combination of key buttons to press to boot directly into CWM? I've load GingerBlur and now want to add another zip, but can't seem to get the phone to boot into CWM? I've tried going through the "Sys Recovery" App and with my phone pluged into the wall, hit Recovery Mode. It then boots up like normal and not to CWM like it did the first time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So I installed this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200985) a few days ago w/o much trouble. Today I updated the ROM to version 2.4 (first used wipe.zip and then the rom). When I rebooted my tab I got stuck at a bootloop (the ROM's logo keeps showing up) and it seems I'm unable to get into recovery.
AFAIK, I should get into recovery by pressing the VOLUME UP & and the power button simultaneously, but nothing happens when I do this. Getting into fastboot isn't a problem, but I just can't seem to get into recovery mode.
Can I access my recovery menu through the fastboot via the SDK manager? Did I use the correct buttons to get into recovery?

You should push on both Power Button and Volume Down buttons. Right after the Samsung logo shows, you will see two menus, let go of both buttons immediately and choose your recovery boot. i hope this will help your problem
I have Da_G's kernal and rooted and with rogers right now. Rest everything is stock.
Can someone please explain to me how am I suppose to get recovery on it??
when I do the three button thing it gets me into download mode that's it
so holding vol down + power takes me into download ...how can i put recovery on it??
I tried clicking reboot into recovery from ROM manager even that doesn't work rather gets me stuck in boot loop.
After update my Clockwork Recovery to 6.0.4.6, I tryed to enter on the Recovery Mode by pressing Up + Power + Home on reboot.
The recovery starts but it just shows "ClockWordkMod Recovery v6.0.4.6" and then the phone is rebooted.
After all, I came back to Rom Manager app and click on "Restart on Recovery Mode" button. Now my phone is stuck on a loop, it can't enter in Recovery mode and can't boot normally. Only thing I can do is enter on Odin mode.
I already tried to remove the battery for a few minutes but the problem continues when I put it back.
What can I do?

Flash older version of recovery say 6.0.4.5 via Odin..

I try this, but the error stills the same (even in the 6.0.4.5 version).
I must have done the first recovery update wrong and now it's happening some inconsistency.
Fortunately I have made a recent backup. Now, I'm installing a new rom by Odin.

Edit: I figured this out... I had to hold volume up and down at the same time while powering up. Also the phone needs to be unplugged. IF its plugged in it will go to Download mode instead of recovery.

I recently Went from the stock ATT rom to CM 10.2, and then to Omni.
I can not access CWM recovery by powering the phone on while holding volume up... Ive also tried holding the soft home key.
The only way I can get into recovery is to open ROM manager and choose reboot to recovery. This scares me because if my rom goes haywire I may not have any way to get back into the recovery.
I have already tried re flashing CWM
any ideas?

You can download the app "Quick Boot" from the Play Store, which has the option to reset into recovery (and many other options)
Stuck in att boot animation there is no adb no fastboot and I cant press any button combination to enter original recovery... suggestions besides using it to hold papers down...
EDIT: I can acces droidboot stock recovery and tethered cwm6 any ideas how to get back to something useful?
