Running VT 7 and while camera works for taking pictures, video recording freezes and fc's.

Since upgrading to ICS, when I record @ 720p I see that the camera has difficult in focusing and sometimes the recording is stuttering like it got slow and stuck and then it gets fine again...
any recommendation on a replace app or fix for this?

I am running my SII on 4.0.1 and I am very frustrated with its performance on video recording and playback (the problem existed on the 2.3 OS version too).
Bascally if I try to watch a clip on YouTube (does not matter if I am on wifi on 3G) the movie will start showing nicely but very quickly the sound will continue to run smoothly but the image will freeze and then will jump back to sync with the audio and then freeze again etc. - so you can't see a nice smooth playback. It does not matter if the video is fuly downloaded.
If I record a movie using the camera - I will get a choppy video with freezes. This is really frustrating and I wonder if other have experience the same problem and more importantly if there is a solution for this annoyng problem.

I have tried various combinations of ICS Roms and kernels on my SGS II, but whenever i record a video in full HD (19200x1080), the video constantly tried to focus itslef every few seconds, because of which the recording gets blurred every few seconds. This problem is absent if record the video in lower resolution.
Any solutions to this?
Use 3rd party app, like lgCamera or Camera ICS+.
I am using official 6.0.1 Stock Android (32.2.A.0.305) on my E5823.
After some days of use I installed Video 4K from menu that appears during usage of Camera. Now I have a mode called Video 4K available from Camera app , but it isn't listed on installed apps.
The fact is that now I can use video recording only in low resolutions (VGA and MMS) because if I use a resolution higher than VGA , video recording became slow and it seems that images are taken with a shot every 1 second or more ! What happened ? I am using wrong settings, for example bad setup of HDR, focus or similars? How can I uninstall Video 4K or restore original settings of my video camera to make it working again ?
It started with the stock camera. Record video over 1 minute and when you stop recording the app freezes. It gets stuck on video mode. Cant close the app although the viewfinder is till functioning. Force closing the app results in loss of video. Tried other camera apps with the same result. Open Camera, Camera Zoom FX. When the app is first downloaded it works fine, then after a day or two the same problem arises. Anyone deal with this same issue and have a fix?
