What Version of overstock?still new to this cause the last kernel i flashed bricked my phone just want to be for sure but was probably user error ..but i want a overclocked kernel that will work and not mess up my phone

As far as I know, only the one that comes with it. I'm pretty sure CM7 kernels are modified not to be compatible with a Samsung ROM.

Im on 2.3 trigger and im gonna go back to good ol trigger 3.2 froyo. Prolly a dumb question but do i need to odin back if i still have the froyo bootloaders? (i wanna do it at work where there is no pc)

Yes you need to odin back, trigger 3. 2 will not flash in the cm7/trigger redux recovery
