Srom-2.2.1FloyoX8-V3 by zousoum96&stelios97
Hi guys.
After the release of V2 of gingerbread we thought that it would be nice to make a floyo rom. So here it is
V3+++From now on when there will be a next version of this rom we will also update it like the 2 previous to OC version and UV version.
In order to see these updates check this site HERE. Thanks to mixalhsxalk for site and helping on making these roms better
V2: (uploaded the fix version) This version is provided by mixalhexalk and me. This Version has 2 version the overclocked and the undervolt.
Download link is below. Installation is normal and if you run v1 dont do full wipe if you dont want but first delete advanced task killer app.ALSO AS YOU CAN SEE I THINK THERE IS NO CLOCK APP I HAVE ATTACHED IT SO DONWLOAD AND INSTALL IT FROM ANY FILE MANAGER
For oc version:
Enable OC from the cyanogen settings Min:245 Max:710-748
Disable backlight ( from brightness settings ) because it slows rom down.
Use advanced task manager putting first the ignore list
Changelog is inside the folder of the rom. ( At the download link see below there are both versions of V2 rom )
Notes:It is based on MiniCm6

Also there is a reboot option to reboot in xrecovery
It is very stable and smooth. Hd games (I play eternal legacy) are running without any lags
Modules enabled: No mddi lags and v005 of pinch-zoom
Instructions on how to install:

1)Download
2)Install it as you did to the other versions (if you use v1 or v2 dont do a full wipe if you dont want)

1)Download
2)Unrar the .rar file
3) choose your rom
4) If you use any advance task killer manager etc delete it
5)Put rom in sd card and install it like the V1 without doing full wipe if you have V1

1)Download Srom-2.2.1Froyo-v1(x8)
2)Copy to sd card of your phone
3)Reboot in xrecovery
4)Go to install costum zip
5)choose Srom-2.2.1Froyo-v1(x8) and press yes
6)Factory reset
7)Reboot and enjoy the rom

NO, this is minicm with honeycomb theme mixed with arc theme and customized to looks like the official sony ericcson android 2.1 and many other tweaks and features!!!
Good, root explorer works well, but I have only 16-bit colors. How can I enable 16m colors?

Does it include the overclocking module, and the menu from miniCM v1.0 ?
No Oc because it caused problems to many guys. If you want it just add yourself

you said have many other tweaks?...what the difference then?..is it faster and smoother than minicm..hows the quadrant score..im currently using minicm with no overclock and have 1000+ score..is this better..cause i like how it looks..nice work btw..

Download the app from the market.
This rom has most stock apps also status bar icons changed. Also modules for guys who can't add them themselves

everything works just fine except for autofocus. but i think its a problem of my app. what do you guys use?
are you going to do something against the blue stuff e.g. when you open contacts, the upper menus are blue... (in your first post picture 4-8) ?

Random reboots No. Superuser apps reboot YES. but i am contacting with nobodyATAll for the code so we can add this to the new release also we will try to add timescape.
I will try it ASAP coz looks very promising

If one of the aims of this rom is to make it similar to SE interface, could you please also change the statusbar icons to the ones form SE? The charging icon looks different style from the battery status icon.

The apk is modified install it via astro or however else you know. If i am correct you should get working google maps

Some Tweakings:
I am too lazy to do these things publicly, so please do it yourself.
1. After setting up, go to Settings>Cyanogen Settings>User Interface>Tweak Extras, and in 'Select Theme' select 'gingerbread'. Reboot.
2. For making things better, you can download 'Android 2.3 Keyboard', 'Android 2.3 Live Wallpaper' etc..
Installation:
1. Download the file.
2. Extract.
3. Copy the folder with 4 files to SDCard>xrecovery>backup.
4. Reboot into xRecovery and restore the ROM.
5. IMPORTANT: Full Wipe!

You may try it - it is possible among some versions of 2.3.3. ROMs.

hold button on the top of phone, choose reboot then xRecovery.. phone will boot into xrec. and then choose backup and restore.. > backup.. then you can choose advance restore > restore data

Does it have doixanh's v004 pinch to zoom? If not, can I flash v005?
I believed it was a 2.3 miniCM^^, in fact just a customised one without oc mod ?

Do i need to use Clockwork? I want to flash this rom into my x8. Thanks for this rom I hope this one doesn't drain my X8 battery as other ROMS.

how is this ROM so far? 3MP camera? any wifi probs (WEP/WPA2)?
and a noob question: if i use titanium backup to backup my apps and flash this ROM, then i have to restore my apps again? or will it be there already? if i restore my apps, will it create a duplicate app?

Today, I would like to present my ROM GingerXperiaRay. It is based on MiniCM by nAa (Thank you for the best ROM ). This is the third version of GingerXperiaRay. Many people in Poland like my rom and asked why I didn't share it with you, so here I'm! I'm a beginner developer, so Please be respectful!

This rom don't have anything from Xperia Ray/Arc/Play. Look at my nickname: WielebnyRay_PL and now look at rom name: GingerXperiaRay. This is reason for name Stock kernel... hmm... I'm not going to make GingerXperiaRay for stock kernel, becouse I hate that kernel

How about batery drain?
I used the rom for some hours. No bugs, smooth and beautiful. Only bad thing was that when I've gone to bed my x8 had 86% battery and when I woke up it had 11 :s This is whit ondemand governor, I'm gonna try smartass v2, in miniCM it solves it.
