Hi everybody, I've a bug with my compass, I already have this issue since I got my P500.
The problem is that the compass is very very slow, even after calibrating it. It takes about 30sec to turn.
That doesn't come from the compass app since it happens also in any other apps using the compass.
Someone have the same problem as me ?
Thanks..

What ROM are you using?
I dont think its the rom tho.. it worked before..

I had the EXACT same problem.
Flash a new rom and check your accelerometer. Mine stopped working for some reason and had to flash the rom over again and it fixed it.
Itsa hardware problem.. so does anyo.e know how to fix it?

Hi guys, just like the title says, this is my problem.. when I open Camera app or turn on Torch, something near camera lens starts to vibrate and I have to bang it. I'm running CM 9.1 (aosp camera app) and Chameleon 1.3 (stock sammy app). At first I thougt it is caused by the CM, but why also on Chameleon ? Will this problen disappear if I flash original stock firmware ? I wasn't experiencing this before I started to play with flashing so I hope the phone is not damaged in any way..
thanks

My phone also does this sometimes. Have always noticed it. A lot more so with cm9 though.
Haven't found any answers. It also seems to get extremely hot.

Anyone? Is this harmful for my phone?
I have noticed.when.the.torch.is. on if i have the screen facing down it vibrates constantly almost every time.
The moving part is the focus module of the camera.
It, however, should only move for a short time.
It usually only clicks for me.

It vibrates until i bang the phone gently on my hand. When vibrating the camera gets extremely hot
I think this is a hardware fault as it has been like this since i got the phone in november 2011, i have tried pretty much every kernel/rom/modem out there. So i know it is not software related. Unless it is canera firmware? I have updated this too.
Edit:
Since i have had the phone it has never vibrated like this whilst using the camera for pictures.
Always when i use the torch. 90percent of the time when i face the screen down with the torch on, it has rarely done it with the torch facing down.
Bump

guys please help me, i have a serious problem.
i had a LIB(criskelo14) based rom with domination v1.3.4 and everything was super smooth. yesterday installed a LJ4 based rom(criskelo 18) and then domination v1.4 . after installing this amazing theme my proximity sensor is always on and i have too much battery drain.
i wiped my device and with a fresh install every thing returned to normal.but after restoring my apps problem is back. i have deleted many apps that may caused this prob but nothing is fixed.
i attached a list of my apps.about 340 apps.
please guide me what should i do?i don't want to loose my apps.
please take a look at list of my installed apps
I think its viber.
Uninstall it and look at your sensor.
If so the last update for viber fix the problem with the proximity sensor.
You need v2.2.3.109 instead v2.2.3.108.

Hi, I have been using CM10 for quite some time, and i have been upgrading to the new releases time to time.
In all the Builds i have noticed that when i am talking over the phone, The screen navigates to CLOCK app & it adds/removes the alarm.
Has any one also noticed this?
Check your proximity sensor..is it working fine ..?
The touchscreen should switch off when u bring it sufficiently close to you.
