How do I capture a full screen shot? - Thunderbolt Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to capture my full screen, to post on-line, instead of just part of the screen,as w/ Drocap2?

I use a app called shootme, you will have to be rooted to use it.

Download screenshot it, it the best app for that and user friendly.

Without root, you can use DDMS from the Android SDK.

I've only used drocap2 but I've always captured the full screen with it. I've been using it for 9 months with no problems. here is my most recent

Cool Thnx guys, I am rooted n nvr tried posting my screen shot cuz it didn't capture the whole screen. But I just noticed some full screen shots (from others) posted on the web, n their previews r cropped, but the actual enlarged picture is full screen.
So will mine from drocap2 look that way to or should I get 'shootme'?
Let's find out:

Oh u just answered my above post. Cool

Cool, it works...Thnx everyone! Guess I shoulda figured that out sooner

I believe most people that have the notification bar chopped off their screen shots are using the sdk method

Request: Background Image (Might be hard to get).

I've searched everywhere on this forum and others but I haven't found anything close to what I'm looking for so I'm hoping some one will be able to help me out with this one.
The image I'm looking for is the background for the Night Time weather lock screen on the 3.0 Sense. Just in case I worded that wrong when I first hit the power button at night the lock screen loads with the moon, time, date, (Current) ect. There is a dark image in the background after the animation clouds clear with a grid pattern from the bottom of the page to the middle and a distant starry night sky from the middle up through the time.
Even if it's that image with the moon I don't care the moon is a clean image either way I am going crazy looking for it, I figured it would be an easy find considering but apparently not.
I still haven't found it yet, if anyone can help me out it would mean a lot.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks so much for those. I'll have to look through the files, Thanks again for that.

What 'trail light effect'?

My guess would be as you drag your finger around the screen a light trail follows your finger around... It would have to fade out though as you move around the screen like a comet so the effect would look really nice...
But not heard or seen one in any themes or rom as yet (if thats what you mean)...

Installation: Install like a normal apk
enjoy! :highfive:
I tried this a week ago. Although its really nice, it doesn't have the options to edit. Unless it was updated recently.
Edit...nvm.. I'm an idiot that doesn't read...lol
Gonna retry it.
My dude, the editor is in the OP. You have to install both apks for the full features
I'll try it out!
Thanks for the share. The gallery is really nice!

? No problems loading over 2,000 pictures on any of my devices. Problem might be on your side bro?
It was quick for me too, no waiting for pics to load up, but it always arranges photos by date as default. Not bad though, and like I said, pretty quick too!
Thanks makoz!
It's probably because I have 14000 pictures in my phone. I'll try taking some off and try again.
Yup, that was the problem. I took my sd card out and it works just fine.
Thanks for the headsup!
Thanks love this!!! Better than stock!

LMT Laucher (PIE Control)

I just came across this tutorial for setting up the LMT Launcher with "PIE" control and thought it was pretty cool so I'm sharing it here.

It's amazing the amount of control the app gives over theming pie. Was playing around with it yesterday and I managed to get something close to what paranoid android has .

How do you keep the pie on the screen to be able to select? Right now I have to hold the screen then slide to the app.

Yeah I watched it. The version in the video is 1.86 but it never showed how to do what I thought I saw. It looked as though he pressed the side or the bottom of the screen and the pie popped out and would stay there until he selected and app or shortcut. It's no big deal. It is a neat mod. Thanks for sharing ramjet73!

Found something cool in System UI!

So I saw this icon and thought, why not? I created a shortcut, took a deep breath and opened it. I could be a dummy but after doing some quick web searching I couldn't find anything about this thing but its pretty funny. BeanBag......

If the gif isnt clear enough then just imagine colorful beans floating around your screen! They are interactive but dont seem to do much but move.
To mods: this was my first post ever and I searched but couldnt find this so if it is out there, dont crucify me please, I was so excited I found this I finally joined XDA just to share it.

wow, im having alot of trouble here. I might just take this to /G/ or something. Ok, last try.
[update] I now know this is old news, its just the jelly bean easter egg (like the egg on my face) still cool to find the activity, plus the shortcut skips the splash screen like you get from settings exploit.
