I have recently joined twitter just for the Nook and Droid X devs. Now that I have jumped to the fascinate I was hoping to follow the devs here. I searched but did not find a thread for this so did I miss it or can we make one? I do not care to make this it.. and update it as I learn them.

If you really want to follow them on twitter just look at JT signature which has his twitter name in it. Go follow him on twitter and then from there you will be able to find more of the devs on twitter. Please make sure going forward questions like this should be in the Q&A or general section but not in development

Its Based On Espresso Code, But No HTC Espresso. The Only UI Im Porting From HTC Is The Slate UI From The Thunderbolt. Half Way Done So Far

2. This is not a race. I was merely pointing out that one should make sure they follow guidelines when posting in the dev section. We've had enough issues with people bickering over who did or didn't get permission to include whatnot.

Since nobody has said anything about this milestone yet, dragonzkiller has announced on twitter about 6 hours ago that CM9DX2 alpha might be released either tonight or tomorrow! Big props to him for working so hard on getting ICS onto our phones.

So, I'm curious, what benefits do we get from cm9 as opposed to cm7? Ics is nice, but will there be new features? Or is it just a cleaned up GUI. I know that ics should be able to multi-thread when gingerbread can't, so is that going to happen with our phones? (my guess is not until kexec starts working)

Well as of right now, only dragonzkiller knows how much ICS it will bring us. If its a full CM9 port, Im sure we will have all of the ICS features unless some things dont work. But this is a first Alpha so I'm sure not everything will work. It's just a wait and see right now.

Im sure there will be quite a few things not working at first. He's probably only releasing it because he has the main stuff working like data, wifi, cellular network, hopefully sms. I've been watching some videos on cm9 and saw that some other ports didnt have the camera working.

Well, I thought about that. I also thought having a thread was a good idea, so that devs can trade ideas and concerns. If you'd rather I remove this thread, and just use the PM system, I can do that. Thanks for the input. I'm always open to suggestions from Senior Mods.

And modifications on those work are bigger than 75%. So read some threads and you'll read something awesome with 'proper credits... links' If you still don't get it, then I recommend you to go to school.
