How do I customize my battery icon on the status bar on a rooted Arc? Is it possible to show only the percentage with no icon?
search the forums with UOT Kitchen guides

I'm using batteryminder , it show the percentage in the status bar
I looked at the UOT kitchen and it seems like a lot of work to just modify the battery icon.
I want to replace the icon and not just add the percentage. There isn't any easy way to just modify the framework-res.apk? Or a prebuilt apk?

I had noticed the mods for transparent status bar and switching the clock to the middle. I was wondering if it were possib,e for someone to make a flashable zip that applies both of these for a certain phone? I have been runnin into problems trying to do them myself
Have you been to uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ (search google for UOT Kitchen). There you can easily mod some settings like statusbar or battery icons.
Hi guys, does anybody knows if there is a transparent status bar mod that works on our photon using cm7 rom. I tried the one for cm7 2.3.3 and 2.3.7 but none of the worked.
Thanks is advance.
Some themes have it. I'm using Sonny Sekhon's ICS theme from the market. It has a trasparent status bar. But I'm not sure how to get it without installing a theme.

To make the mod go to "status bar" click "use this mod" and click on enable transparency in status bar...upload your framework-res.apk, and systemui.apk, click amend scripting, and deselect theme chooser preview, submit to the kitchen, wait an hour or so, and then flash via BOOTSTRAP RECOVERY
Or...I think you can go into the systemui.apk and manually change the status bar .png to transparent and push it back to your phone, and reboot.
Is there an option to get transparent soft keys? I'm using Nova Launcher and can't get transparent soft keys or status bar :/
I guess the title says it all really, i want to get the background of the pull down status bar transparent.
In GB it was easy, all i had to do was push my 'status_bar_background' png to systemUI and hey presto it worked.
With ICS there is no such file to replace and cannot find which png decides on the background design
Any help is appreciated

Use UOT Kitchen online mate and customize it the way you want.
Hey everyone!
Can anyone help me remove this battery icon in the status bar/notification header? (See attached image) it's pointless being there if you using gravity box battery icons instead.
That one you can't really get rid of. The best you can do is go into settings - personalization - status bar icons, and untick the battery. This will remove stock battery icon when notification drawer IS not pulled down so you can only see GravityBox icon.
Hope that helps
