There are screenshots of the smoked widgets in the thread if you click through to it, and I'm sure if you search G2 rom, google voice widget, you'll find screenshots of them too.

I flashed the Smoked Widgets zip and now I'm stuck in a soft reboot loop. Sigh. Not a full reboot, just keeps going to black screen, no network connection, starting up again, scanning memory card, wash-rinse-repeat. Can't open any apps or do anything before it reboots itself again.
You have to do each .apk
Don't use the flashable .zip!
I've gotten Twitter, News & Weather, & Pandora widgets to work
Trying to get the CalendarProvider, FaceBook, & Engadget widgets working, but no luck so far. If anyone does get them to work, I would love to hear what you did
I was stuck at the reboot after installing the Smoked zip as well. Reflashed to stock and then since I was there, installed Vibrant8. adb installed Twitter.apk. adb installer failed for the the Facebook.apk so I did a adb push for both the Facebook.apk and GenieWidget.apk.
All 3 apps loaded fine but when I tried to reboot the phone froze as it was loading up. I don't know if it is one of the apk's (Facebook?) that was causing the issue or Vibrant8 but it would be interesting to see if anyone with a Vibrant on 2.1 got the Facebook one to work after a reboot.
I'm on 2.1, and currently working on getting FB to work. I'll post my results and method later today (might wind up being more like very early tomorrow haha)
No need for this anymore. Google Voice is now officially updated on the market with the widgets. Version 0.4.1.26
Does this mean we can use GV without using our carrier minutes?

Alright so how do you apply those smoked widgets?
so i am trying to install these via root explorer, but i can't seem to find the apks for facebook or twitter in the system/app or root explorer?? it's on myu device but it must be named something else, anyone have a clue?

I moved both apps to /system/app before pushing the modified apk's through adb and I had no problems.
My market doesnt work because im not longer have Gtalk installed, I deleted it without even knowing it myself... first i though it was Gmail who caused this but then I read stuff on the net that Gtalk was associated with it.
Anyone able to upload the apk so i can install it
The ones that ive found on the old threads doesnt work :/

You won't get video calling due to processor support dough.
i don't think the gtalk app is the actual problem, as i deleted it myselfs and everything is ok.
But there are other packages related to gtalk like gtalk.framework (or sth like that) that you should not delete.

I just flashed the CM9 test7 ROM and i am not able to sync my facebook to my contacts. it just kicks me back to the sync accounts screen. I did some digging around and found that i am missing AccountAndSyncSettings.apk from my system/apps folder. would i be able to get this apk from any source and install? or do i need a specific one? and if anyone could link me to a good source i would appreciate it.
Did you load gapps? I had to for cm7.

Hey fellow XDA-ers,
I am new here learning how to tweak my Atrix and such. I recently installed the Neutrino v2.2 GT ROM by notorious and it is a fabolous ROM. Very fast and smooth but there is one problem that I cannot afford to have. My calendar stopped working. Every time I try to open it, it just force closes instantly. Does anyone know what the cause of this is?

No, it hasn't worked ever since I flashed the ROM. And I did add the sync addon and the google addon too. Everything works perfectly except the calendar.
I would try fixing permissions and seeing of that works. Or PM Notorious with the question. I searched the thread but no one else is having that problem.

Sorry for asking a really noob question, but how do you fix permissions? Do you go into recovery mode and do it? Again, I'm really sorry I'm new to this whole dev thing :/
Hmm, well I went into Recovery and fixed permissions, still FCs though.
Sorry! Nevermind, I finally fixed it! I just had to go into Titanium Backup and uninstall Calendar and Calendar Provider and reinstall them. They work perfectly, thank you for trying to help though! I
